I'm trying to handslap anyone but i think sticking to smacking PTI is better than on specific people on the forum. we loose our credibility if we are making personal attacks and then the points we really want to make just dont mean as much.

Wow. Usually a fan of Nichole's card designs but the cards are all a little off this month. There must be a fisturbance in the force because I'm not liking Nichole's cards but I kinda like ACN's cards that she posted yesterday. Oops, I meant disturbance.
I also usually like Nichole's cards but this release isn't doing anything for me. I think it's the stamps she has to work with aren't that great or inspiring this month.
If you are near Michael's, Recollections stamps are 40% off this week. There are a few cutesy clear sets for both boys and girls that would probably work really well for birthdays without a lot of expense.
bugger! Sorry for being so state-centric on you. Mike's is usually a huge disappointment so you aren't missing out on much. Kim Hughes' might fit the bill with cute. She has some for b-days and some that are generic boy or girl style.
Things I'm thinking (with no proof) 1. Nichole's bothered by all the bitchin (even if she isn't posting) and it is coming out in her designs. I'm sorry but today was NOT up to her usual caliper. 2. I love PTI products and it kills me to not order but you all are right! Everything shown so far has a counterpart out there in crafting land. While I think the pocket is kind of cute, I know I wouldn't use it beyond the first few weeks. I can cut my own and stitch it if I feel I must have a pocket on my cards or pages... as long as Maile doesn't use it. She always amazes me with her creativity. Who do you all think is the most talented? While I used to love NH's work she hasn't seemed as top notch lately... almost predictable. I think Maile can do CAS better than most and Heather is best when she sticks with kraft and rustic looks. Ashley is sometimes great and sometimes not so much. Dawn is almost boring and hasn't inspired me in ages.

The Wake up Nichole thread was deleted because somebody posted that the haters scared her away and then she was called on her idiotic comment and it turned into a battle of whose fault it was.
What was wrong with the old website? I guess the only improvement that I can see with the new website is that you (supposedly) can redeem reward points. The rest of it is crap compared to the old one.
I did think that the old site needed an aesthetic makeover, but obviously not at the expense of functionality and usability.
I think originally PTI was claiming that the new site would have the following improvements: -Can redeem reward points -More shipping (cheaper options) -Ability to wish list items Only the ability to redeem reward points ever came to fruition (and that doesn't even work right).
On top of that, the new site is not taking GCs, doesn't show the related items, doesn't link to the gallery or tips, and is terrible to navigate.
NH seems to be using a of older sets in the peeks, getting lots of great sketch ideas as well! Not inspired to buy one new set, except possibly the stars. -- those seem versatile
6:57. I don't see anything either. The forums are dead. Crappy release, nh obviously uninspired. Handslappers are jumping ship with Ted and the rest are tired of complaining with nothing to show for it. Who will be the first DT member to quit and go to memory box?
From the last thread comparing Lizzie to Beth-really!!! Beth's cards are totally craptastic, and Lizzie's cards today especially are pretty cute
That said, I don't expect a stamp designer to be an awesome card maker. Unless its Dawn. Even if you don't like her style, that girl takes her shiz seriously when she has product coming out that month. More samples that ANYONE else and she tries to Show the versatility.
I agree with the above poster. Although Dawn's style doesn't usually appeal to me she does post a lot consistently and most of her layouts are good.
I also choose to believe that she really is that nice and sincere and I love reading her non-crafting posts. I may also enjoy sunshine and lollipops occasionally.
Lizzie's cards are actually fine. I don't expect them to be as polished as Nichole's. She would benefit from better photos though.

Not loving the too small tie die on Melissa Bickford's card. Reminds me of my dorky 7th grade Earth Science teacher. If it doesn't work, don't force it.
Danielle shows how to use the balloon die to make a circle for the middle of her flower. Just cut off the nipple and voila, a circle. I guess circle dies are hard to come by. Danielle seems like a nice enough gal, but she's stretching it.

The comments on Nichole's blog are down quite a bit. Usually they are in the 700-800 range, over a thousand on release day. Now they are barely over 500. One has to wonder....

I don't know if poppy stamps is made by memory box but there's some kind of family connection and maybe a shared manufacturer. They have definitely gotten a fair share of my former PTI budget.

Poppy Stamps is a company that the owner of Memory Box started with his kids (teenagers I think?) to teach them the business. He does the designs, but they take care of things like shipping.
I'm sure those Poppy Stamps kids are better workers than the whole PTI warehouse!

Here's a heads-up to anyone wanting to order from Waltzingmouse.
I ordered on 1st March (during their big release), and received the stamps today (in Australia) on 12th March.
Fantastic. And apart from the fact that the stamp sets are beautiful, the owner takes time out to write a note on the invoice too.
Makes one wonder why PTI is so slack getting orders out on time, and delivered in a timely manner, especially since we pay HUGH shipping for priority mail. Glad I don't order from them anymore.

Regarding the free sets- many of you are calling because you forgot to add the free set or sets into your cart. Don't wory, if you order qualified, you will get the free items however they will NOT show up on your shipping notice. This is interesting. I was reading the Better Business Bureau's list of complaints and the one that has been resolves says "BBB's Final Determination: Business indicated it will not resolve consumer issues through the BBB process." The others are still outstanding but what do you want to bet that they will have the same results?

I have been banned from their facebook page because I said we deserve customer care instead of lame excuses about being a small company. Some woman came to their defense and said they don't need customers like me, and I don't know how hard times are for small businesses. I said she didn't know me from Adam, so how does she know whether I have a business or not. I ended by saying I was a $600 a month for a year kind of customer, so why would they not need customers like me. BAM. Banned. Comment taken down, and a reply went up saying they only allow polite conversation. The same moment a new thread went up on the PTI site by Ellefson saying that the same thing there. I am SO done with PTI. Not a dime of mine will go into their pockets anymore. I have my package coming today, that I ordered the 16th of February!

Based on the last email I received from Jenn, I will never, ever order from them again. I do not deserve to be treated that way when there are legitimate issues to be dealt with. If you have no plans to every order from them again, then I think those shitty emails from Jenn need to be made public. Either on this blog, 2Peas or SCS. People need to know that this company is full of assholes!
Maybe another think we could do is quit advertising for them. I will no longer list their products on my blog posts even if I use some of their products, such a cardstock, etc. I am just leaving those things blank on the list or saying "black cardstock", or "designer papers from my stash".

Wednesday I have one coming from March's release because there are some stamps already out there that I think we can use for our challenge.

I love PTI products and it kills me to not order but you all are right! Everything shown so far has a counterpart out there in crafting land. While I think the pocket is kind of cute, I know I wouldn't use it beyond the first few weeks. I can cut my own and stitch it if I feel I must have a pocket on my cards or pages... as long as Maile doesn't use it. She always amazes me with her creativity.
Who do you all think is the most talented? While I used to love NH's work she hasn't seemed as top notch lately... almost predictable. I think Maile can do CAS better than most and Heather is best when she sticks with kraft and rustic looks. Ashley is sometimes great and sometimes not so much. Dawn is almost boring and hasn't inspired me in ages.
I love Maile's style and Dawn does things with colour that I would never dream of trying. But she pushes me to be more creative.
I still think Nichole has some mad skills with layout and design.
Holy cazoli! Have you guys seen the stuff coming out of Memory Box lately? I stopped following them about 2 years ago, and I see I've been missing out recently.

Count me in as a Memory Box fan. They have beautiful stamps and dies. Been a customer for years.
sneaks are up and completely UNDERwhelming........from everyone I have to say. I can usually be swayed by Nichole or the DT's great stuff but it's really crap this month.
That balloon is fugly! Buy the pocket die from Wplus9 and the tie die from Memory Box.

The Wake up Nichole thread was deleted because somebody posted that the haters scared her away and then she was called on her idiotic comment and it turned into a battle of whose fault it was.
It looks like Papertrey is taking a month off. Have you seen the fugly stamps?
Nichole's stuff today is decent, but forgettable.
The new balloon stamp/die are terrible. They look like a side view of a boob.
What was wrong with the old website? I guess the only improvement that I can see with the new website is that you (supposedly) can redeem reward points. The rest of it is crap compared to the old one.
Anyone have any experience with Crop Stop? They seem to have a good selection of Memory Box dies.

I did think that the old site needed an aesthetic makeover, but obviously not at the expense of functionality and usability.
I think originally PTI was claiming that the new site would have the following improvements:
-Can redeem reward points
-More shipping (cheaper options)
-Ability to wish list items
Only the ability to redeem reward points ever came to fruition (and that doesn't even work right).
On top of that, the new site is not taking GCs, doesn't show the related items, doesn't link to the gallery or tips, and is terrible to navigate.
Bottom line, the new website is crap.

NH seems to be using a of older sets in the peeks, getting lots of great sketch ideas as well! Not inspired to buy one new set, except possibly the stars. -- those seem versatile

If you think the Memory Box dies are cool, you should check out the Poppystamps dies at Ellen Hutson. Over the top fabulous.
I agree with the above poster. Although Dawn's style doesn't usually appeal to me she does post a lot consistently and most of her layouts are good.
I also choose to believe that she really is that nice and sincere and I love reading her non-crafting posts. I may also enjoy sunshine and lollipops occasionally.

Lizzie's cards are actually fine. I don't expect them to be as polished as Nichole's. She would benefit from better photos though.

Not loving the too small tie die on Melissa Bickford's card. Reminds me of my dorky 7th grade Earth Science teacher. If it doesn't work, don't force it.
Danielle shows how to use the balloon die to make a circle for the middle of her flower. Just cut off the nipple and voila, a circle. I guess circle dies are hard to come by. Danielle seems like a nice enough gal, but she's stretching it.

My cart dumped so many times I lost count. A couple of times I had everything in there, went to add a label I'd forgotten and poof...everything gone except the label (and I was logged in via the customer service tab). A couple of other times I was adding cardstock when it dumped. There's no rhyme or reason to it, it happened during the week, it happened on weekends; I was logged in, I wasn't logged in. It was annoying...so I finally got everything to stay...and I placed my order ...

The comments on Nichole's blog are down quite a bit. Usually they are in the 700-800 range, over a thousand on release day. Now they are barely over 500. One has to wonder....

Poppy Stamps is a company that the owner of Memory Box started with his kids (teenagers I think?) to teach them the business. He does the designs, but they take care of things like shipping.
I'm sure those Poppy Stamps kids are better workers than the whole PTI warehouse!

Here's a heads-up to anyone wanting to order from Waltzingmouse.
I ordered on 1st March (during their big release), and received the stamps today (in Australia) on 12th March.
Fantastic. And apart from the fact that the stamp sets are beautiful, the owner takes time out to write a note on the invoice too.
Makes one wonder why PTI is so slack getting orders out on time, and delivered in a timely manner, especially since we pay HUGH shipping for priority mail. Glad I don't order from them anymore.

Regarding the free sets- many of you are calling because you forgot to add the free set or sets into your cart. Don't wory, if you order qualified, you will get the free items however they will NOT show up on your shipping notice. If for some reason, we miss it- send us an email and we will make sure you get your free set or sets.

I have 3 e-mails to them all before Feb. 22 and the only answers I have received is we are looking into it and will get back to you. In other words, go away.

I have been banned from their facebook page because I said we deserve customer care instead of lame excuses about being a small company. Some woman came to their defense and said they don't need customers like me, and I don't know how hard times are for small businesses. I said she didn't know me from Adam, so how does she know whether I have a business or not. I ended by saying I was a $600 a month for a year kind of customer, so why would they not need customers like me. BAM. Banned. Comment taken down, and a reply went up saying they only allow polite conversation. The same moment a new thread went up on the PTI site by Ellefson saying that the same thing there. I am SO done with PTI. Not a dime of mine will go into their pockets anymore. I have my package coming today, that I ordered the 16th of February!

I can't believe that they are going forward with another release while they are still so behind from the last one.
They should stop the release or tell us why they CAN'T.
I'm sorry, but it is not a privilege to shop at PTI, it is there privilege to have us CHOOSE to shop with them. They have forgotten this.

I have noticed far fewer posting PTI products on their blogs lately, too.
Maybe another think we could do is quit advertising for them. I will no longer list their products on my blog posts even if I use some of their products, such a cardstock, etc. I am just leaving those things blank on the list or saying "black cardstock", or "designer papers from my stash".
