I can tell you that we are continuing to work very hard to address all the issues as quickly as we can. I am truly sorry for how long it is taking. We are doing our very best and will get to everyone as quickly as possible.

NO JENN, you are not doing your very best. If you had an ounce of common sense between the lot of you, you would halt the release and put up an announcement of the website. This cluster of problems is self inflicted and so is your stupid solution. So there.

Rebel_Rose said...

@5:21. YES!!!! So agree!!! Would LOVE to post that on PTI's forum!!! I just can't decide if their problem is lack of common sense or greed. Really, I think it is greed with arrogance......And come on, who really thinks all those anniversary sets were lost in the mail...REALLY???

Rebel_Rose said...

Oh I know, maybe there is a pallet of anniversary sets sitting in their warehouse that they thought were sent out....

Anonymous said...

I just received my huge die order from Happy Scrappy yesterday full of awesome dies by Chery Lyn designs or whatever they are called. I had a 25% coupon code and made out!

Anonymous said...

Would writing letters of complaint to Papercrafts do anything? The point of them showing cards with 'current' products and all the product info is so people can get those supplies. But them choosing to focus on cards with products with a company with such terrible customer service - ?

Anonymous said...

4:54 me! I've seen a couple cards that I thought were rosie posie but were the anniversary set myself.

Anonymous said...

today's preview - thumbs down. That slotted card thing does nothing for me. Especially since you have to cut the smaller piece yourself. All the samples are ugly!!!

Anonymous said...

has anyone seen anything similar to the file folder die anywhere else?

OMG. Barbara's comment on the "CS link not working" thread made me almost pee my pants!
She's so brazen. I {heart} her.

Anonymous said...

Go Barbara!! I <3 U!!

I am not tempted by any of PTI's dies because I have the fabulous Cameo. And they have a cut file called File Folder. :)

Anonymous said...

I have a file folder die called "file folder". It is a Thick Cuts by Ellison.

Here is a link to a clearance Ellison die but I think it is for the BIG machines (Grande Mark, whatever the big Big Shot is called)

The customer service email link isn't working because they are just going to close customer service altogether. That will fix the problem.

I think Tim Holtz has a folder edger.

Anonymous said...

I see that Ted is back with non-answers, blaming, "everything works for me - it must be you," long list of stamps he said he wouldn't buy because there are other stamp companies, all the dies that he says he needs but tells others things are easy enough to cut out by hand. I've never seen anyone change their stories and talk out of both sides of his mouth like he does. He's amazing. Apparently by starting his new little community, they've boosted his adrenaline and pitty-partied him into thinking it was everyone else and not him.

He's infecting my happy place over there.

Sorry. Rant over...maybe.

Anonymous said...

thanks all - I can't tell what size the ellison file folder die is? off to check out the rest...wish I had a cameo!

Has anyone else noticed the comments on Nichole's blog for the release prizes are about half what they usually are? It seemed there were well over 1,000 comments per post on prior releases and now only 500-600.

Anonymous said...

MFT has a really nice selection of file folder tabs that would look just as nice. Also those new card basic dies are easy to do with a kraft knife. SU has a little rounded punch that allows you to slide gift cards in in the same manner that they put out years and years ago.

Another customer posted about the crappy service she received with her PTI prize package. WTH is Julie doing over there?! This is how I imagine it:

Jane: Julie, we are going into business with NH.

Julie: But MOoooom, I don't waaaaant to work any harder than I already am with the family business that I inherited.

Jane: You will do as I say or I will cut you out of the will.

NH: I want to give away fabulous prize packages on top of bring in thousands of orders each month.

Julie: That's a terrible idea. Makes even more work for me. Moooom!!

Jane: Julie, just send them out.

Julie: Fine. I'll do it when I am damn ready to do it.

***Julie sends out prizes only when emailed a few times about it.****

And another from a "Lift Blog".

Rebel_Rose said...

@ 7:40 lol!!!! I really want to post that clearly her (Julie's) dad must've been the brains behind the success of the family printing biz and now that he's deceased the 2 of them don't have a friggin' clue how to run a biz (except INTO THE GROUND!)

Anonymous said...

Everyone keeps saying how they want to post stuff.
I don't understand why you don't? If you are that angry, feel that strongly, have been wronged that badly, why don't you? Isn't it your right to say it?

Anonymous said...

In a lot of cases, posting things like "you are stupid" will just make us smackers look rabid and out of control and will do nothing to help the situation.
Posting here is a good way to vent and it keeps the forum clear for the very real customer service issues. IMO.

Anonymous said...

And the reply to "Will the site be working before release day?"

Brings the normal response from Jenn - I will let you know when I find out.

Wonder if they realise that the release is only a couple of days away.

Hard to believe that people would willingly order
amidst this mess.

I guess Nichole won't be posting until March 15th if at all.

If you go through her history, it looks like she posted on January 15th and then it jumped to February 15th.

Anonymous said...

Haha did anyone else read "Please help Jenn" as a cry for somebody else to go into customer service to help out? I thought that this post was directed at people to help Jenn out, not for Jenn to help the poster out.

Anonymous said...

I have money tied up in gift cards. I am trying to decide if I risk it and order now! Honestly, if I wait I am afraid that the company will be bankrupt or just shut down and then I won't be able to order at all!!

since bullshit was called on blaming the USPS, how much do you want to bet that PTI will next be blaming all those out of country customers for the mess? I think PTI believes Canada and Australia are third world countries or something.

And...since WHEN is South Africa anywhere near Australia?!?

it cracks me up that the thread about the window dies from Memory Box is chock full of happy ordering experiences from OTHER companies! Wonder how long it will take clueless wonder to figure out that folks are encouraging orders from direct competitors.

Beating A Dead Horse said...

Do I hate PTI? No!
I certainly hate what has happened to them. I know it took me awhile to finally say DONE. I haven't ordered in months, it was hard at first but sooo easy now. I have forgotten almost every day to look at the peeks and reveals. Maybe by looking I was hoping something would spark that old excitement I used to get this time of the month, but sad to say nothing has.
One thing I can say is this....I wish I had a dollar for everytime I have heard....we sent those back because they didn't meet our standards. What standards PTI?? Another thing that irks me.....we never retire anything(just don't restock it).

Anonymous said...

I'm one of the pretty up front with my disgust for PTI's business practices. I don't hate PTI. I LOVE their designs and products but I dispise their business practices. I think Julie is an asshole and Jenn is a snarky bitch.

I hadn't ordered since last summer and broke down and orderd a bunch of $5 sets in December before the current nightmare began.

That is the absolute last order I'll place until they get their shit together.

If/When they clean up their act, I'll purchase from them and praise them if it's deserved.

In this post, someone said to go back & read the text of the post, but I didn't find anything (which turned out to be a typo about dies). I then decided to read the text paper on the card & saw, in the last paragraph "I was so much discomposed by this unexpected behavior that I was on the point of slinking off"
I wonder if this Freudian slip is how some of the DT feel about the sitch at PTI?

Anonymous said...

I used to love Papertrey's designs but now I find that even the ones that I would normally like are completely spoiled by the customer service wreck.
I don't even get much enjoyment out of the stamps that I already own and I am one of the ones that has never had a problem with customer service.

Anonymous said...

I saw the word discomposed but didn't read the whole sentence! I actually saw decomposed at first and that made me think of what is happening to Papertrey.

Anonymous said...

I too used to look forward to Nichole's post and the design team's posts. Now, I just scroll right past their posts on my google reader. I am so uninterested in them! It's really disconcerting to me that they continue to post and talk up this company and ignore everything that's going on. I mean obviously they have to..... But it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I don't even bother with trying for the prizes either on Nichole's posts.

It really is a train wreck. And I want them to succeed but it's like they are TRYING to fail here. Really pitiful..

Anonymous said...

I'm pretty sure that I could have written your post word for word!

I really like the No____ stamp at the bottom of this set.

Does anyone know of a similar stamp to this (not a font)?

Thanks!

I think i have one on the tickets stamps i have of his from stampers anon... lemme look

Anonymous said...

12:19, Purple Onion Stamps has some stamps under "Vintage". They aren't exactly the same, but there are some to choose from.

Loved this comment by ette??

"By the way, you should consider updating the "auto-reply" letter If you haven't already done so. It has outdated info (for example, it still says gift certificates are Yahoo store generated, still implies that the free shipping threshold is $50, and says orders can't be changed due to "the speed at which we ship things out", etc, etc)."

S---weet. And oh so typical of their shambles of a business. Just one dysfunction piled upon a pile up of dysfuctions.

Who gives a rat ass what Ted thinks? He's the one who has been posting about his dumb competing community incessantly. I think a lot of us, are/were on the PTI forums as well so of course we're going to see it. He can apparently reject or approve an member, so of course there is going to be some overlap.

He's a grown man who acts like a fucking sissy and gets his panties in a wad when he doesn't get enough attention. His words mean nothing, as evidenced by his constant "threats" to leave or not shop, yet he always manages to come back. He can't stand not getting the attention.

What is this comment from Taheerah about in one of the CS email threads:

She said: "Thanks for asking this and for the answer. My last e-mail was sent on 5th March, so that gives me a bit of an indication as to when it'll be answered. Mine is one of the ones that needs to be escalated though, so I hope that doesn't result in an additional delay."

Why does hers need to be escalated? I don't think she has said anything about selling cards or special orders? Do you think she got "escalated" because she is Taheerah? I seriously wonder if she hits the "I want it all" button every month. On one of the first days of the anniversary festivities, when the DT picked their favorite products, she said she had all of the stamp sets listed except "two" or something like that! There were a LOT of stamp sets on that list!!

Release night ordering tips...

for those who are a "special kind of stupid" who want to forge ahead with an order on the 15th, follow these simple tips for maximum satisfaction:

1) remember to write down EXACTLY what you want - since it is nearly impossible to use the search feature without knowing the exact PTI name of what you are looking for,
2) throw items into your cart QUICKLY - you need to beat the every 30 second system updates that are being blamed as the cause for dumping carts, and
3) remember to indicate you are from another country (preferably a third world nation) before indicating you are from the US. Otherwise you will not be able to enter your state information.

If these steps don't work, pour yourself a stiff drink and go spend your money at one of the REPUTABLE companies listed on this blog.

Happy ordering!

Anonymous said...

16:59, I'll be skipping all 3 steps and opting for the drink. :)
