Freshly cut grass

Spring allergies anyone?

New space!! PTI finally getting their act together? Oh. Okay. About freakin' damn time, but still too late for me. Would be afraid to order if they still have the same CS people and those very same owners who let all of this crap happen, just a thought. What do you guys think?

Maybe if they act like a real business for a year....okay, 8 months...I'll buy from them again. Or maybe not. There is life after PTI. ;)

Anonymous said...

I wonder if maybe the real problem is that Jenn and Julie don't get along. That would help explain why Jenn can't get anything fixed, but pretty much anyone else can. Just a thought.

Anonymous said...

There really is life after PTI...there is a time I thought I couldn't break my SU! habit, but I did. I know I love PTI's paper, but I'm pretty darn sure I'll be able to find a substitute I love just as much. Heck, I've fallen in love with Amuse inks and don't even miss PTI's versions. The bottom line is that I know I will be able to buy from a company that I believe in.

now if only I could break that $9K meth habit...

Anonymous said...

As an aside, does anyone else here just think all those Riley Moose stamps are absurd?

Anonymous said...

The only explanation I see is their bottom line was affected
If they had issues with Jenn they would have canned her a long time ago
But we see time and again they Avoid sensible solutions if it would affect their bottom line (hello getting Rick to design the website?!?!)
so I'm thinking this was a slow selling release and they got scared

Anonymous said...

I think Riley the moose is cute! I don't see myself using those stamps, but he's still cute.

well I did put an order in at 10:10pm and no mevement yet and I'm only 3 hrs from Cinci. Yet folks across the country are talking about "putting their sets away" eff this shit. I just want my reward points order and be done with it.

Anonymous said...

my rewards order hasn't moved either. Just says "OK" in my customer service log. Maybe they aren't sending rewards orders out until they have the paying orders out the door.

Anonymous said...

I had 100 rewards points and cashed them in on the 13th. My order was actually scanned by UPS and should arrive on the West Coast by Wednesday.

Fastest shipping I've had from PTI in as long as I can remember.

Anonymous said...

I cashed in my reward points and live on the coast on the Western side of US. My order was here on Monday at 10 AM.

Anonymous said...

I'm not ordering again. It's all too late and I've moved on. Anyhoo it won't last.

Dawn's a snarky bitch. All the sunshine on her blog is just fake. She's proved she's only in it for the $$$. There was no need for her to speak to Ang like she did.

PTI allergy for me.

Anonymous said...

I agree with the snark towards ang. The mask is slipping. Pretty soon no amount of sunshiney emoticons will be able to hide the disdain Dawn herself has for the customers.

And people thought this was going to be different with Jenn gone? Not for long, not for long. They NEVER learn from there mistakes. A few happy comments from customers filling the first page and already they are getting cocky again and out comes the snark and "eff you" attitude to the customer. They just can't help themselves.

Anonymous said...

Where was Dawn snarky to Ang? It wasn't in Ang's thread. I didn't want to say this there, but I was shocked to learn that Dawn gave Ang a transaction number last Thursday and has been in daily contact with her.

Anonymous said...

And I was even more shocked to learn that Nichole had contacted Ang using someone else's credit card number. lol.....maybe not so shocked. If Ang gets that refund tomorrow, I will eat my hat.

Anonymous said...

There is no way I'm ordering again and I don't think this current atmosphere of rainbows and sunshine is going to last. I agree with the poster at 23:54, they never learn from their mistakes. Other than Dawn, I don't see a continued presence of DT members on the forum, which tells me something. Also interesting is there has been no further info about Jenn. It's been more than "a few days" so I do wonder what's up. Not that I really miss her, she's a total BEOTCH on the forum.
And I have been watching the Ang situation as well. Not suprised that a refund was issued to some other credit card that wasn't hers. I will be shocked if they actually get it right.

Anonymous said...

Michelle P. your avatar cracks me up!

Anonymous said...

I'm sure there will be an occasional offering by PTI that will tempt me, but I'm happy to say that I didn't miss this last release one bit! Even if there were things to tempt me, I don't know if I could get pleasure from ordering from PTI knowing where my $ is going. PTI is tainted for me.

On the upside, this month I happily spent my money at MFT (dies)and WMS/Lawn Fawn/Paper Smooches (stamps). I swear I'm not a "cute stamp" lover despite where I purchased this month. I am looking forward to the next release from WPlus9. I think her designs are the closest in style to PTI's and I really love the WPlus9 sets I already have.

Anonymous said...

InkStink,

I asked the question about people still getting joy out of buying when we all already have so much in our stash. I hope you didn't feel accusations from my question. I can't answer for the other commentors but there is ZERO judgement from me regardless of what you guys spend. If someone can spend 9k PER MONTH on craftiness, I'm freaking happy for their situation.

Your spending is your business and you don't owe anyone here (or anywhere) a justification. Girl, spend it if you got it and don't look back! =)

Anonymous said...

In case you don't get on the forum, Ang posted she got her refund.

Anonymous said...

I admire people's honesty in what crafty stuff they buy and the total $. I think I'm too scared myself to add up everything I have. But I work hard and get enjoyment from it - though I really should be using my stuff more. I guess we shouldn't feel too guilty - there are plenty of other things (bad) that the money could be spent on.

I'm over Dawn, I'm over PTI. Maybe in a couple months I'll look. But you think about things a little, you realize you don't need it as badly as you think you do. I swear the orders from Papertrey - they take so long to get to me, by the time I get around to using them, I'm over it. Not interested anymore.

Anonymous said...

I spend more than I care to admit, but that said, we make a good living and my family's well-being doesn't suffer. Nobody blinks an eye when we spend $300 for a golf club for our husband or $75 for a baseball glove. My kids have probably $400 worth of football cleats they can't even wear anymore! I'm not defending my purchases because I don't feel any remorse or shame.

For my own peace of mind however, I frequently sell stuff I don't use. I've even split up sets and sold single stamps that I know I will never use. You'd be surprised that there's a big market for that! Also, I know myself better and don't buy things that aren't my style. I try to buy items that can do double duty. I buy things in bulk when it makes sense. I participate in blog/challenge giveaways and submit to publications (for extra $ and publication incentives). All of this means that my money goes a long way.

If I had to schedule my orders around payday, I wouldn't be buying stamps (yes, ribbonsharegirl I'm talking to you).

Anonymous said...

9k poster here. I was shocked at how much I spent in a little over 2 years and you all know I didn't just shop at PTI. Adding up PTI was an eye opener for me. Damn, I could have had a neck lift. Will definitely be changing my ways.

Some of WPlus9 look so much like PTI sets. Look at the Mehndi Medallion. I think WPlus9 released it first. Looking around the industry, I think there is a lot of copying of stamps

Anonymous said...

9K, you crack me up! "I could have had a neck lift!" Love it!

{Just to let you know that I'm totally not making fun of you! Sounds like something I or my bff's would say:)

Anonymous said...

First I have to say that the sea monkey comment from the last space was one of the best I've ever seen. LOVE it.

Secondly, NO I will not purchase from the again. Having had been a customer from the start, I don't know if I'll ever visit the sneak peeks or blog or site ever again.

I have moved on - all of my inks and cardstock plus more are now from A Muse Studio. I purchase from Waltzingmouse because Claire is also a creative genius in my opinion. I've just discovered a few other companies and I may just give in and purchase from Chocolate Baroque, too.

PTI is a big zero to me now. So long, farewell, and shove your stamps where the smiley sun doesn't shine.

So the new issue for PTI is that people are missing one of the slider dies? I've seen more than one post for this issue!

Lather, Rinse, Repeat!

Anonymous said...

So the new issue for PTI is that people are missing one of the slider dies? I've seen more than one post for this issue!
--------

I have only seen one post about the missing slider die.... are there more?

However, it looks like there might be a problem with them sending out the wrong Card Basics. If they are mis-labelled in the warehouse, that could be HUGELY widespread. It will be interesting to see how they handle it.

Anonymous said...

Apparently the trained monkeys in the warehouse fookayed the Card Base-ics dies - people ordered #1 (scalloped) and got #2 (plain). D'oh.

Anonymous said...

Beware, Dawn wants to work the popcorn-eating emoticon into posts more often.

Anonymous said...

I guess mistakes happen people, but the tell will be how they handle it (send back the old one at your expense, well reimburse you and send a new one)

But make sure you put it in an envelope with stamps..... ;)

I was thinking on spending my lousy 17 points/credits (whatever they frigging call it) on their templates. That way no shipping, no waiting, just instant download.

I quit ordering last August and have only been tempted a couple of times. I stood strong!

Anyways has anyone used these templates? Are they any good? I really like the house template that Melissa Phillips makes with.

Anonymous said...

08:10 Does the new website have Lauren Meadors templates? If so, I have several of them and really like them. They go together really well, instructions are easy and comes with a several page PDF with design ideas.

Anonymous said...

"We are sorry you ordered the wrong die" (not that the dies got switched in the warehouse) "Send back the incorrect die and include your order number, your name and a lock of your hair. Once DNA samples confirm that this is indeed your order, we will send you the correct die. Since you mailed the incorrect die back to us, we will mail the correct die to you and won't charge you for shipping. That way, it's all even-steven." They won't tell you that the DNA testing on your hair will take 6 months.

Anonymous said...

Ive used several of the templates from Lauren Meader and they are all fabulous.

If you made them from PTI cardstock they are quite strudy, I"ve had templates that I made years ago, still standing and strong

Anonymous said...

If they have sent out the wrong dies it will be telling HOW they handle it. I suspect that they will try to do the right thing, not because they finally get it, but because it is so close to this last cs blowup that they may temporarily be on the right track.

The true test will be in 5 or 6 months from now when another big issue comes up and they are no longer in the cs spotlight.

Anonymous said...

I tend to agree with 8:34. PTI is on their best behavior. For now. I'm positive they will lapse because the current change is only motivated by $, not a real change of heart.

I'm not sure if there is an amount of "good behavior" time that would make me think of going back. You can't unring that bell.

CDN Mofo said...

Thanks for the input on the templates! That's what I'm going to use my credits/points towards.

Wish me luck!

Is it possible to delete my account on the pti website. Like remove my email address, house address? I was looking at it and can't figure out how to delete the account. I hope I dont have to email CS. Ugh

Anonymous said...

As people receive their orders, it will be interesting to see how many get the wrong Card basics dies.

A few forum members are already suggesting/offering to swap their Card basics dies if they get the wrong one - that should let PTI off the hook!!

Anonymous said...

My guess is that they hired extra warehouse staff and they are screwing up. Either that or Julie went in wagging her finger and said "you'd better get these orders out FAST' and they just made careless mistakes.

Anonymous said...

Well, great that Ang got her credit card refund - meanwhile I am still waiting for mine and I ordered same day as her. Guess I didn't make a big enough stink on the forum.

Anonymous said...

The best (only?) was to get resolution is to either dispute the charges or post on the forum.

Anonymous said...

@9:53. That's right!! Get to posting on that forum if you expect any resolution to your issues otherwise Pti will just be hoping you go away.... Good lick!!

Anonymous said...

Oops!! That should've been "luck"!! Lol!

Anonymous said...

The forum is wonky.

Anonymous said...

Ashjoy just posted something about a resolution and said that she had gotten an e-mail from Jennifer. Not sure if that's an old e-mail or if that was recent...

Anonymous said...

10:47, I wondered that too

Anonymous said...

@9:53 - Yep it is your fault that you haven't gotten your refund yet. You know exactly what PTI is all about and they will not give that refund unless they are forced too. Get to posting!

Girl with the missing slider dies lives in Hong Kong. Order was delivered to hotel in the US where her husband was staying. Bet money she'll have to shell out shipping. I'll be shocked if she doesn't.

Anonymous said...

I love that Inspector Cluseaux is sure PTI will make this right at no cost. Really, cuz they've proven that in the past? NOT!

I say kick the fuckers while they are down!

Anonymous said...

I say "kick 'em when they're down, too." I would not trade any dies with another forum member. Make PTI accountable for their screw ups. I haven't ordered anything in over a year and I can say with confidence that I will never, ever give them another cent of my money.

Anonymous said...

Here is my guess on how they will handle this:

"We are aware that the Card Basics dies have been switched. Please find a person who bought the other Card Basic die and swap with them.

We care about you,
PTI"

Anonymous said...

An error made by PTI is a happy accident? What planet are you from?

Anonymous said...

Just when I think it's safe to order ... another screw up on their end that they didn't know about. Holy crap! Why do they only realize they've messed up AFTER a customer posts it? Is there no quality control in the warehouse? Do dies not arrive sorted already?

Anonymous said...

I almost posted this on the forum, but I decided it wasn't worth the poison darts that would have been flung my way. A Facebook friend posted this on his wall earlier today regarding Ben & Jerry: "What awesome customer service! I had a problem with a gift card that I purchased through Saveology that didn't work at one of their stores yesterday. I called customer service this morning. They investigated, called me back within five hours, fixed my gift card, and they're sending some coupons for free pints to make up for everything!"

I'm thinking PTI should be reading stories like these.

Anonymous said...

I have had 2 customer service emails arrive in my inbox lately regarding delayed shipping times or something like that.
Both were extremely apologetic and assured people that they were aware of the situation and were doing everything that they could to resolve it. One of them was Gina K.
PTI should sign up for the Gina K newsletter just to get a lesson on how to handle customer service issues. Waiting until multitudes of people complain on a message board before taking any action is just ridiculous. They should have to be forced into doing the right thing.

I agree with ^^^ in that this isn't worth posting on the board.

The die swappers desperately don't want more widespread criticism of PTI for yet another error, and are keen to minimise it. Or they know PTI won't handle it properly and believe it's quicker to sort it out between themselves.

Those that don't blog, go to the forum etc will just go through the usual PTI CS hoops if they get the wrong order! That'll mean more customers dropping away quietly.

I've honestly never known a more incompetent company.

And after that, they will send you the correct die.

Palette Hybrid Pads

Acid free, archival, non-fading and non-flammable. Hybrid ink dries fast on glossy and smooth surfaces with thicker color coverage than most dye based inks.

The new Palette Hybrid ink pad represents the latest innovation in stamping ink technology. It works on everything and is a non-solvent ink. It dries instantly on paper and porous surfaces but requires a heat-set on glossy surfaces and fabrics.

Anonymous said...

Why do you have to take a picture of the die? They don't know who they sent the dies to? Or did they only send the wrong dies to some people?

Anonymous said...

Think half the reason that PTI have so many problems in their order fulfilment is their way of keeping their things. I have no idea how they keep theirs, but receiving their dies in plastic ziplock with no labels whatsoever doesnt give much of assurance.

Compare that with the other dies that I have bought from MFT and other lovely brands, they are often labelled and in a proper plastic. Well, ignore the plastic..the key thing... its labelled! One can go less wrong if its labelled and you just need to read it.

PTI's ones give me a feeling of everything is dumped into some bucket and when you order something, they grab your order and throw it into a plastic ziplock.

No wonder things goes missing or its wrong. And yes I am disgruntled with them. Ordered the sliders set from them.. it came with one missing of the four. Like huh..it is a set of four... not three..

PTI, get labelled and you should see less smack bout you! At least from me ;)

Anonymous said...

@23:43- Nichole said in her message that they only mixed them up for a short time. So not everyone that ordered them got the wrong ones.

InkStink said...

And they can't identify those that got the wrong die? Like, we discovered the error at 2:00 so all the orders that went out before 2:00 are wrong, after 2:00 are correct. And grab a list of those orders from their database and notify those customers.

Oh wait, they have no good database, no idea what orders go out when, etc. Sorry, .... I lost my head there for a minute.

Anonymous said...

I'm the Sea Monkey Poster, maybe I should say that it applies to more than just web site maintenance.
Obviously, warehouse and shipping is being monitored by monkeys as well. And none of them actually SEA {sea} what they are doing.

I don't care what they do from here on out, they have completely lost me as a customer. I have reward points but it's not worth the hassle to try and redeem them.

Anonymous said...

So at some point they discovered that the dies were switched. Great. How come they didn't try to do anything to fix the packages that went out already?????!!!!! They have had days now where they could have been proactive - try to identify the packages before they left the warehouse, try to notify the customers that were affected, notify everyone ahead of time that it may be a problem....but no, they waited until someone discovered the problem and brought it to the forum. THEN they admitted the problem and found a solution. Yes, they did better than normal, but still not good enough. Did they honestly think they could switch the mislabeled dies at whatever point they discovered it, and then everything would be fine and dandy after that?

Is it unfair? After all, this fix is only in response to people posting on the forums. Did PTI do it BEFORE anyone complained? I also think that they waited a bit to respond to the forum post to 1) gauge how many people would complain and 2) see what people would suggest is a fair response. I'm sorry but they were aware of the problem and made no effort to reach out to affected customers. And what about the folks not on the forums? That's what I call a half-assed solution! Still smackworthy to me. Slight improvement, but still shitty business.

Second, I cannot believe the Nichole admitted an error! I was expecting another "sorry you are disappointed" statement.

Ted make sme sick to my stomach.
He has a right to support animal breeders all he wants. But he also has a right to the karma that will kick him in the ass too.
Some "christian" he is. What WOULD Jesus do?

Anonymous said...

Given all the screwups in the past, I think everyone has the right to over react when it comes to these issues. In and of itself, the die switch is not a big deal. But add it to all the myriad of problems and everyone should be on high alert. I've never known any company at PTI's level (sales-wise) that has so many issues.

Wonder if Cloiseux (sp?) already sent our her die?

Anonymous said...

Ted, if you are going to go with a breeder at least have the balls to defend your decision.

Anonymous said...

I don't even care that they screwed up and I don't care how they fix it.

I will be watching way down the road to see how they handle customer service but since I haven't seen anything that I even want lately, it is moot.

Anonymous said...

Grow a pair Ted.

Anonymous said...

At least they did the right thing.

Anonymous said...

Re: Simply You update sticky

SEE, was that so hard Nichole? If you had handled the whole customer service mess like this to begin with, you may not have lost $9000 customers.

Keep up the good (logical) work.

Anonymous said...

Oh hell. Ribbonsharegirl now wants to be Twinesharegirl as well. Hold me back from jumping on that bandwagon.

Anonymous said...

You know what would sway me? If PTI came out before the customers and said "we found a problem, we're sending you the correct item, you don't have to do anything but wait". Then post it on the forums, email it to each affected customer, and put in on the blog and/or website.

BTW, this happened to me last year. I was sent a replacement set of stamps and I didn't even KNOW that my stamp set had issues! And they didn't ask me to send anything back! So yes, it can happen.

Anonymous said...

now ribbonsharegirl is doing TWINE SHARE?!

Anonymous said...

yeah, ribbonsharegirl=twinesharegirl=desperationgirl

Anonymous said...

within this last year, Waltzingmouse had a problem in one of their background stamps. They emailed me ahead of time telling of the problem and how it would be handled. They sent the original set and then the stamp in question came separately I still can't find the problem in the defective stamp. no returning of problem stamp. This is how good Customer service works. Be proactive and then it is win, win.

For those who don't want to visit the forum: Ribbonshare girl is going to do a Twineshare from The Twinery.

Her post:
LOVE bakers twine, but I certainly can't justify keeping an entire roll. I know there are sample packs but with some colors I may want more than 15 yards of a color.

Does any one want to go in on a share with me? I'm thinking of ordering full rolls but would like more than 15 yards of each color. I would like to place the order on April 6th.

PM me and I'll let you know all the details... Don't want to post anything here and violate any terms of service.
=======================
Then she lists every color of The Twinery twine. Buy the f'ing sampler pack. If you want more than 15 yards of a color, then order the spool. This girl really is desperate, isn't she?

^^^^ Perhaps she should go int'l only. She could charge 10x the shipping, no tracking or insurance, and 3x the delay. ...And the PTI student becomes the master. Well done, Grasshopper.

LOLOLOL

Anonymous said...

She can only make money off the shipping if her "customers" are ignorant blind dolts. Oh wait....

Anonymous said...

I think the die solution by nichole is equitable. Yes, some companies would just make it right and not expect return of the other dies, or pictures of the wrong die. But in terms of PTI CS, this is definitely a step forward and I am not going to slam them for it. At least the people are going to get the correct dies without having to send the wrong die back first, which would have been the way they did it in the past.

omathgoddess said...

Seriously not impressed about the "resolution" to the Simply You set mistake. Not only are they not going to ship it to the address I requested (which will cost me $5 to pick up and a tank of gas), but they are also not going to send out a new label even though they are printing a new one for the corrected set.

Again, too little, too late. :(

Anonymous said...

Yeah, that sucks OmathGoddess. They just can't seem to correct their mistakes properly.
I'm still on an ordering hiatus and will remain so.

Anonymous said...

Wait a sec ... They sold people the wrong stamp. They're now sending you the missing stamp BUT you get no new label? WOW?!? Guess they figure the dollar you spend to buy a new label will cover the cost of the "free" replacement.

Anonymous said...

I *almost* volunteered to do a twine share but then i realized how freaking annoying it would be to measure out and cut so many yards per person and was like F that crap!

Anonymous said...

I'm guessing that's why they wanted to do SASE at first because billing address is different from mailing address. I feel sorry if Wylie (from HK) ordered that set and got the wrong sentiment as well, and PTI will be shipping the extra sentiment to an address in US.

Fallen Off The Radar said...

Speculation about whereabouts of Jenn? I'm thinking she has been banished to the basement at the House That Stamps Built and is kept on a long leash from which she can brew cappucinnos on demand for the Princess and perform other menial chores as ordered. Every so often, Nichole can be heard shrieking, "THIS is how you do CS, I learnt it all from my devoted sheeple. I'm so sorry you misunderstood your job title! Now clean my toilet!! And I don't want to hear any of your "I'll pass that along" or "It's being taken care of. HTH" bullshit! Just do it!!"

Now I'm looking into the future when they can put all these "difficulties" behind them and how the yarn will be spun. "Yes, there was a period we went through where we had significant difficulties. But we listened to our customers and made personnel changes that allowed us to get back on track and better serve them."

This is for 7:11

I for don't care if PTI has done something halfway right for once. That doesn't dismiss the past 5 years of" screw you customer service". Get real 7:11, a move in the right direction? Hardly! They f*cked up the orders again, remember.
The one and only reason anything is being done now, is because of us! Those who have stopped ordering and demanded better service...PTI has a LOOOOOOOOOOONG way to go in my book before I ever give them any more of my moolah!

And the drama continues ...

Nicole,
I did exactly what you told us to do..
I wrote all my information, attachted the picture of the incorrect die and sent an email to CS.
About 47 mins ago, Dave replied my email.

However, he is telling me different story now.
He wanted me to send the incorrect die first to OH office instead of receiving the correct die and a pre-paid & addressed envelope.
What should I do??
---------------------------------
The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. Guess it wasn't just the Communications Director that was left out of the loop. Dave, find a new job. FAST!!!

Anonymous said...

The same girl just got another email from Dave:

gogogirl wrote:
I just received the updated email from Dave.
CS will send us the correct die with a pre-paid envelope.

phew!

Yeah, well, when you have such a LARGE cs dept it's nearly impossible to get the memo to everyone.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyone else picturing Dave down in the HVAC room of Heskamp Printing getting messages via vacuum tubes like they use at the bank drive-up window?
Dave's answer was very telling. Apparently, that's the solution that PTI came up with on their own. The only reason they changed to the "send a pic" option was because of the forums. Serious, serious idiots.
InkStink said...
I was part of the previous twine share. And yes, PTI got all snarky and kicked the thread off the board. Many of us still took part in the share but, and this still cracks me up to this day, some people dropped out for fear of offending NH and PTI!!!
The share went off without a hitch but was a tremendous amount of work for the organizer (sorry, I don't remember who it was). She worked fast and kept the group updated but it took some time to measure,cut and wrap all that twine.
Ribbon girl in charge of a twine share? I wouldn't chance it. Maybe she's trying to recoup some of the money she lost on the 75 or so open spots on the last ribbon share.
Anonymous said...
wow, you're right. she has about 73 open ribbon share spots from her last share.
Anonymous said...
Ribbonsharetwit needs to give it a rest. Isn't this the same chick that can only order after payday? If money's that tight, and I've got 75 shares open from my last share, there's no freaking way I'd be trying to start another share. Stop being greedy and learn to be content with what you can afford.
Fuckin Ted wants a cat he can walk on a leash....what an asinine man. And seriously, you asked about breeders, so you are getting more than one opinion.... Idiot
Anonymous said...
You suck Ted.
Anonymous said...
I know! Ted disgusts me about this cat thing.
Anonymous said...
I thought that Barbara asked a reasonable question about why he is choosing to buy over rescue but he blatantly ignored her.
It could be because she called him out last month about being a hypocrite though.
Anonymous said...
He probably just thinks he'll be cool if he has a Bengal.
Anonymous said...
LMFAO @ Ted wants a cat he can walk on a leash. I know we're not supposed to say it, but can he be any more .... ? Criminy. A dude with killer eyes - literally - walking down the street with a fucking CAT on a leash. He should have stopped on the OT board when he asked about hemorrhoids.
Anonymous said...
Why doesn't Ted post this crap on his dumb forum? Does he even still have that anymore or was he not getting enough attention over there?
Anonymous said...
If the new "cool" is a guy who lives with his mom, gets riled up on craft forums, and walks a cat on a leash....then thank the good lord I married a nerd!!!!
Anonymous said...
I'm thinking of doing a CAT SHARE. Take on about a million cats from an animal hoarder. Get some suckers off the forum. Mail them out in boxes ala Aunt Bethany from Christmas Vacation.
Anonymous said...
$100 bux says he names that cat Nichole.
Anonymous said...
I hate it when he says PTI BUX! But I don't think he lives with his mom. I think he has his own place, cuz remember when he made a big deal of paying it off?
Anonymous said...
^^^ I must have missed that conversation. I remember he was needing new carpet. Hmm. Maybe he should wait and see how his designer cat works out first.
Anonymous said...
He crafts with his mom. I don't remember ever seeing him say that he LIVES with his mom, so I'm not sure where some here have gotten that idea. Did he say that somewhere, on the forum or his blog? I don't think it's true. But I think it's nice that he crafts with her.... I wish my mom was still alive and she could be my crafty buddy.
Anonymous said...
Poor Little Miss T who was so excited about her order resolution last week still has no resolution.She just posted.
Sorry to hear that dearie.
I craft with my mom. I am single. I have a cat that loves to go on walks. So sue me.
What is it with the DT answering questions with "Sending you a PM" rather than answering it where other customers can see how they resolve it? How do they expect to regain trust with us?
Anonymous said...
If I was a DT member, I certainly wouldn't post openly unless I had a definite positive resolution for the customer. Unless I was little miss sunshine herself.
Anonymous said...
just popped over to the forum for the first time in a few days. It looks like there are still numerous active "WTF PTI?!?" types of threads. Guess they were able to neatly sweep everything under the rug with sweet sunshiny DT posts. While everyone seems to be exceedingly polite at the moment, I think it is just a matter of time before the powder keg explodes again.
Gonna pop me some more popcorn & sit back and watch the drama unfold.
Oh just wait until that Bengal gets into his ribbon or cardstock drawer and rips his stuff to shreds! He might also have to sell his Vagabond to make room for the giant hamster wheel. Damn, that man is stubborn. Asks for advice, with 95% negative posts regarding Bengals, and he is STILL all "thanks for respecting my decision." THEN DON'T EVEN ASK! And I some of your comments have had me rollllling! Especially 17:42 all the way to the grand finale 19:40, LOL LOL!
