The binders were just another clusterfuck at PTI. They didn't "notice" they weren't right until orders started being packed. Did someone from PTI inform anyone that had ordered them that they wernt correct and their order won't be shipped until the new ones came in.
The month they we introduced it was same as always - people posted they got a tracking number, everyone started comparing info, and then days and days went by and a ton of packages hadn't moved.
People started comparing orders to see if there could be a similar product, because, of course, there was silence from PTI.
About 8 or 9 days after release Nichole comes onto the forum to say they had received the wrong color binder and were holding the orders that included them until the new shipment arrived the next day.
No one was ever given the option to cancel the binder and order again later, ship the binders separately, no options because we weren't told anything.
That was when everything started to go downhill for me from there.

I think PTI should go wholesale only and let capable companies who can deal with these issues efficiently send out product to customers.
Just imagine; receiving product in a timely manner every day of the month, decent shipping costs to overseas customers, the ability to backorder... AND nobody would have to worry about incompetent web designers!
And with wholesale, PTI wouldn't have to *deal* with us peon customers. They'd have a few dozen customers rather than a few thousand. Seems that would be more manageable for them.
It looks like Papertrey has had customer service issues for a while now.They have mishandled -kraft binders -inks (1&2) -overseas return postage (the Karen fiasco) -losing a pallet of orders and not telling customers -website cluster*uck, current backlog -the little gem from Nichole thanking us for sharing our disappointment

No, no, it must be the burdensome hurdles PTI places before customers with defective or no product.
Or wait, I think I've got it, it must be the bizarre and convuluted procedures they put in place to "fix" their frequent SNAFUs (think 2012 CCs, unredeemable GCs, unapplied discounts, rewards etc etc).
If not that, then it must be the unfulfilled promise (as a buying incentive), of the infamous anniversary sets. The debacle which has dragged on for OVER A FUCKING YeAR now and with no end in sight.
But wait, I think I have it. It has to be those sweetly reassuring little interpersonal touches of humanity you get so often from Nichole, Jen, and the crew. Ya know, those subtle little empathetic gems like, "so sorry you misunderstood", "your email will be responded to in the order it is received. HTH", "Did you email CS with your concern?", "Please refer to the other thread where I updated last night", and one of my all time favorites, "Every time I have to check on this thread is time taken away from other important stuff".....yes, yes, that last one must be the clincher.
Because every time a grown woman is spoken to as if she is a naughty, irritating little toddler, her first thought is, "wow, I now have the utmost confidence that these professionals are doing just everything humanly possible to resolve my issues".

Forgive me, but I own up to being too lazy to read through all the threads to try to find this info. Can anyone comment on shipping time from Taylor? She mentions 1-2 days to get it out the door on her site...but that company that shall remain nameless also claims similar shipping times. (and we all know how many times they've fallen short on that).

Some of us are just here venting, not saying anything that we wouldn't say on the forum if we thought that it would help the situation. I also stand in solidarity with the forum members who want PTI to thrive and continue to provide customers with excellent products.I just also want some form of customer service.
