Carry on!

Thanks blog owner. My POOR scrolling fingers!

LOL!

Why won't PTI do like some of the other companies and let you email a photo. For example, Leigh's "A" could be shown to Nichole and Nichole could send a new one first thing tomorrow morning, saving PTI huge amount of man hours and record keeping. Of course, that makes just too much sense doesn't it?

Anonymous said...

Because crooked, horrible people like you and me would probably doctor the pictures (maybe pay a professional to do it?) and become con artists in a huge international PTI scam, collecting billions of dollars worth of merchandise that we haven't paid for.

Isn't it obvious??

Anonymous said...

You can attach a photo (or any document for that matter) to Zendesk requests. That's what I did. I sent three photos of my Sunrise IP and Julie still wrote me saying the B side impression showing on the A side impression was "normal."

Anonymous said...

So my plate that doesn't do this is not normal?

Anonymous said...

I don't know if it was mentioned or not, but Spellbinders now has a pocket die, jar set die and a camera/polaroid die. Awesome!

Add That 2 the List said...

Maybe we should open tickets and flood Zendesk. Didn't realize that all my IPs are "not normal.". I'd love to know if Julie uses these products for anything other than lining her pockets?

Anonymous said...

Only 20% of my stamps get used more than once. Arghh! I need a way to get myself to use the older ones now and then. Anyone have a system to help rotate?

Anonymous said...

^^^I go through my favorite uploads from Splitcoast or PTI - alot of the time when I favorite something I either had the stamp or purchased it.

Anonymous said...

19:18, can you provide a link to the Spellbinders polaroid die? I saw Donna Salazar had a camera and photo strip stamp set (with matching Spellbinders die) but I didn't hear/read about the polaroid.

Thanks!

Anonymous said...

yep, same set!

http://www.spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/p-844-snapshot.aspx

Anonymous said...

So Leigh will return her die, get it replaced and forever think that PTI's customer service is stellar, and the rest of us are just making rookie mistakes!

Anonymous said...

Or she'll have her original die returned with a "The die cut A still looks like an A to me." note from Julie and realize that not all smackers are out on a witch hunt.

Leigh seems like a nice person who won't say boo in the negative. If this is resolved well, she'll start a thread. If not, we'll hear nothing ... Unless someone asks her directly.

Anonymous said...

I was actually surprised that she started the thread about her defective die at all.

Anonymous said...

^^^ where?? I don't see it.

Anonymous said...

Sorry, I can't get onto the forum right now. If it hasn't been removed, the thread was titled "modern alphabet dies" or something like that.

Anonymous said...

Leigh just posted a picture and she cut her letters dies apart. Doesn't that void the warranty? I bet Julie tells her that she cut the corner of the letter when she snipped the dies apart and there's nothing PTI can do for her!

Anonymous said...

Oh no! Leigh, your die was now damaged during use!

Anonymous said...

I find it interesting how she is posting about her issue on the forum. Doesn't she know that's a no no, and to file a Zendesk ticket?

Anonymous said...

I guess it's just the weekend or it would be removed or locked.

Anonymous said...

Is the disappointed in impression plate thread still there, or has it disappeared? I'm not seeing it.

But then: tyrannical governments always delete or rewrite history ..

Anonymous said...

leigh is minding her own business and living her life. stick to pti bashing and get off her back. am i back in jr high?

Anonymous said...

Posting on any public forum is hardly "minding your own business". WORLD WIDE WEB...get it???

Anonymous said...

Leigh is a PTI kiss ass and this is a PTI smack blog which includes smacking PTI unicorns including you 9:35!

Anonymous said...

I see a board warning in CindyCherrys future. She started a thread about Lisa Johnsons new MFT set!

Anonymous said...

Well she is a competitor now. LOL!

Anonymous said...

I agree with 9:35. Stop smacking Leigh.

Anonymous said...

Dafaque.

I still cannot access the forum.

Anonymous said...

09:35, I'm with ya. I can't believe that another thread has disappeared. Some people have basically been kicked in the teeth by CS over their impression plate issues, and this blog is sitting and quibbling about Leigh.

There are real issues you can put your energy into people. If this blog won't deal with them, people really don't have anywhere to go. I think the unicorns are the ones throwing up useless information so the real issues get obscured, and this blog is written off as being irrelevant and mean spirited.

Anonymous said...

The disappointed with the impression plate thread has disappeared? I still can't access the forum. What was said that was so awful?

Is the newbie mistakes thread still there?

Anonymous said...

I can't get on the forum either.

Anonymous said...

Didn't realize there were approved topics here...do tell

Anonymous said...

10:40 you're right.

My hemorrhoids have really been hurting me lately, started just after I had my ingrown toenail removed. I don't like classical music and think it should be banned, I mean why should anyone like classical music if I don't? Robins are much more interesting birds than hummingbirds. Just trust me on that. Anyone here have any good weimeraner stories? The postal system has been so slow lately I could just SCREAM, our local school is shabby, nothing good coming out of there at all. Do you prefer MacDonald's or Burger King? Shaving cream or gel? Light lunch bigger dinner or the other way around? Movie theatre or home Blu-Ray? Westerns or Science fiction? Do you like to garden or read, or neither?

Hey why don't we talk about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pit!

Anonymous said...

11:28 -
Hummingbirds are far more interesting. Yes, I do have interesting Weimeraner stories. My PO has been perfectly fine, schools, so-so. Can't stand most fast food. Shaving gel. Light lunch bigger dinner. Home DVD or streaming. Sci-fi/fantasy. Read, not gardening. Don't care one way or another about Brad & Angelina.

Oh, and Leigh is an annoying ass-kiss and obviously angling for a DT spot.

Anonymous said...

10:04 mean spirited?? Yes. I call it as I see it.

Anonymous said...

^^ why is it that everyone who comes across as a nice person on the forum is angling for a DT spot. Not everyone is as mean spirited as the smackers. I guess you wouldn't understand that.

Anonymous said...

Feel better after that finger wag?

Anonymous said...

Oh, I love hummingbirds. Reminds me ,I need to go refill the feeder. I prefer black labs, although I could do without the incessant shedding. I baked cookies this am, they have 5 types of chips in them...yum. I love football and can't wait for the season to start.

Anonymous said...

OK, 11:41. Maybe she isn't angling for a DT spot. I'll give you that. Annoying ass-kiss still stands.

Anonymous said...

11:37 I'm offended.

You obviously don't care about my hemorrhoids.

And I thought bringing them up would be a real incentive for PTI to get their house in order.

And even the smackers don't care.

{{{sigh}}}

Anonymous said...

littlemeesy - I don't know who you are and I have no idea if you come here, but in this big anonymous world, I want you to know that I REALLY CARE about the fact that CS wouldn't replace your IP.

I still occasionally buy from PTI - and consider that YOUR problem is MY problem. I think you got a really raw deal and wish there was something more meaningful that I could do than just commiserate.

Anonymous said...

I am in the same boat as littlemeesy. I am very angry though and I will be doing everything I can to get my postage refund due to the defective product.

Anonymous said...

13:44 - good on you. rooting for you that it gets sorted out.

Anonymous said...

The way PTI continues to treat customers and address problems continues to piss me off. I hate them for that. I know they have no incentive or desire to change. I'm sorry for those who have to deal with this. Don't give up fighting for what is right. Don't let them wear you down.

Anonymous said...

@0943 and 0944----------screw ya beotches

Anonymous said...

I am mostly mad at myself for ordering. I feel like I shouldn't be as angry as I am for getting a defective die and then being lied to about it. I knew going in that they would not stand behind their product if something went wrong. I knew that Julie would try to make me feel like a crook.

The people that I feel really bad for are those that are new buyers that really don't know the history of Papertrey. The ones that are scratching their head wondering how a defective product could be their own fault (maybe I used the machine wrong?) and left feeling icky after an email exchange with customer service.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know of a clear stamp set from a different company with sentiments in a text similar to the PTI Say It With Style stamp set?

Anonymous said...

I've been discussing these things with my DH. He really doesn't want me to spend a penny at PTi ever again. He asked me why I would want to spend money and financially support a company that is dishonest and corrupt (his words).

Really what can I say?

I LOVE PTI's products. But I guess there needs to be a deadline for how long I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt - and then either buy and cringe or just walk away.

To the ones fighting CS - don't give up. You paid real money. They need to back up their product with some real CS.

Anonymous said...

I haven't spent a dime since mid last year. I ordered during the last release and ended up with a defective sunrise ip. I am ashamed to tell anyone (even my husband) that I ordered. He would absolutely question why I would order after all of the horror stories that I have shared with him over the dinner table.

My kids call it "that really awful stamp company".

Anonymous said...

15:38 I don't know of any sentiment sets. Dawn did use a 'circus style' alphabet in that set and here is what I'm aware of in alphabet sets:

http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/servlet/the-21765/tim-holtz-stampers-anonymous/Detail

discontinued, but maybe on eBay?

http://www.techniquetuesday.com/product/PICL.html

Hope you find what you need!

Anonymous said...

15:44, "the legend" has spread to my kids too. It's so bad that if I'm looking at the PTi website they ask me what I'm doing there.

Anonymous said...

Thanks so much, 15:55.

Anonymous said...

While googling "papertrey bad customer service" I came across this little gem from 2007. :-)

http://sarastudio.blogspot.ca/2007/12/paper-trey-puzzler.html

Apparently, Nichole had a blog contest and edited one of her posts and that changed the correct answer. The writer of this blog posted a "no fair" on the forum and received hate mail from other posters. She includes that emails from Julie who states that because of this problem, Nicole felt distraught and they will no longer hold this type of contest.

Anonymous said...

I am a "newbie" and have only ordered once from pti, (and my order was correct). But...I have read enough on the internet to know that I was lucky. I have looked around and can't find any other stamp "store" that has my same taste. Nothing cutesy, clean lines, and modern. Anyone have a suggestion of where to shop from? TIA! :)

Anonymous said...

16:30, take a look at Avery Elle (new company with 2nd release this month) and Wplus9.

Anonymous said...

16:30, you won't find exactly the same thing anywhere else. You may also find that you can order from PTI again and again with no problems at all. It's when you do have a problem that you'll have a PROBLEM. And then you can join us on the list of PTI's suspected criminals (i.e. their customers who have issues - because if you have a product problem you're really lying and are just trying to pull one over on them.)

If I had found another happy stamp home I wouldn't be wasting my time here trying to get PTI to smarten up. But the side bar on the home page of this blog has loads of suggestions for you to go through.

Anonymous said...

16:24, so glad there are reports that PTi can't go back and edit and delete.

Anonymous said...

If enough people were to complain to Paypal would Paypal cut iff their service?

And doesnt Visa protect you from bad products?

Chris Simon said...

16:24, I was the winner of the contest in question, and was equally convinced that I had the correct answer. I know there was a lot of controversy and grumbling at the time, but I came up with exactly the expected answer, on the first try, before the edited question was posted, so I considered it a fair contest. Still do.

Did I get the correct prize delivered in a timely manner? Nope. But that's another whole story. Eventually got the right stuff, but not without running the email gauntlet with Julie.

Anonymous said...

LOL! That is too funny Chris that even though you were the winner, you didn't really get a prize without having to jump through hoops. Not funny, haha, funny pathetic!

Anonymous said...

Since Leigh cut apart the die I suspect that she will not get the postage refund as it was damaged during use. I hope that she keeps us updated.

Anonymous said...

There must be a reason that they don't want word to get out that more than a few customers are having an issue with the sunrise ip. Inkgate?

Anonymous said...

So the Sunrise IP is out of stock. Anyone happen to know whether that occurred during/as a result of SAF or happened post SunriseIP-gate?

Anonymous said...

Check out this post on the FSOT forum. She is quite the comedian. I'm no Ms. Cleo but I predict a lock-down (or deletion) and board warning.

May your post last forever.

Anonymous said...

I filed a dispute with visa over defective product they refused to fix and visa sided with me and gave me the money, not sure if PTI paid them. Was $9 back '09

Anonymous said...

...twin sunrise image on one side, and single sunrise image on the other... and CS thought this plate was NORMAL?

Apparently we live on Tatooine?!

Anonymous said...

^^^No, you don't live on Tatooine until AFTER it's gone through your machine.

Instant upgrade I guess?

Anonymous said...

^^ I think more people should take that approach. Even if PTI does pay, it should have an effect on PTI's relationship with the various payment processors.

Anonymous said...

18:07 thanks for posting that, more people need to know about going that route

Anonymous said...

Sorry, my post (18:09) about more people taking that approach was in response to the person who filed a complaint with Visa for defective product.

Anonymous said...

I should not be surprised, but I am disappointed, in PTI's decision to delete the Sunrise Impression plate thread (started by Laurens2angels?) IN ITS ENTIRETY. They (PTI) didn't even have the decency to move it to the Product Questions/Suggestions forum.

I also had a problem with the Sunrise IP. I'm totally taking this to SCS and/or TwoPeas.

Anonymous said...

18:15, you need to be aware that PTI no longer has any problems with any of their products period.

And they have a squeaky clean complaints free forum to prove it.

Anonymous said...

I am ready to go to SCS and 2 Peas as well.

The thread might have just gone away quietly but by silencing people, they feel unheard and will go to other forums to voice their displeasure.

It would be so much better for Papertrey to just keep these issues in house.

Actually, it would be so much better if Julie didn't call people liars and thieves and just replaced the defective products.

Anonymous said...

I've been ordering from PTI for about 2 years, only having to return a defective Half & Half die. I could have returned a stamp from my Banner Builder set, which had part of it cut off, but I didn't want to bother.

My experience with PTI has been relatively benign. I admit to being a 'rabid fan' in the beginning, thinking they could do no wrong, and that when I first heard of others' problems, I thought there was no way it could be all that bad.

But since the beginning of this year, I've been watching how things are being handled. And when the anniversary release seemed like such a bomb and more problems began to arise, I started holding back a bit on my orders, keeping it to a minimum.

But I have to say now, this business with the sunrise IP is really beginning to piss me off - it's not right how they're handling it, and I never want to order from them again. First out of fear that I will be the next victim, but also because I cannot support them in how they treat customers' issues.

Shameful.

@15:38

Clear and Simple has the same font set as Say It With Style and you get the whole alphabet.

http://www.clearandsimplestamps.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=156&idproduct=397

Anonymous said...

Awesome, 19:44. ;-) Thanks so much!! I get the whole alphabet, AND I can make words I'll actually use!

Anonymous said...

^^ yes, double thanks to 19:44 for the link!!

And if anyone else is curious about the size of the individual letters (the CSS website doesn't provide a lot of details), check out this card from iheartart:

http://tiffguam.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/img_3181.jpg

Anonymous said...

^^Perfect - thanks for the link to this card. I do wish CSS were a little more specific on details of their products. One reason why I hesitate buying from them.

Anonymous said...

Are the people who know font styles still frequenting this blog? You were always amazing at being able to tell us what font was what.

20:27 Would you be interested in something computer generated - or do you just want stamps?

Anonymous said...

20:27 here, and I could definitely use computer-generated things as well and would love to have info on that. I'm not very technologically savvy, but I do use some computer-generated images and sentiments in my crafting. Thanks for mentioning it.

Anonymous said...

That Sunrise IP was definitely in stock yesterday because I was checking the difference between the Sunrise and Sunshine.

Remember when people were complaining about a stamp set...oh a few months ago...something was missing from the set and people were talking about it on the forum. PTI finally put it OOS after it escalated on the forum.

There's been so many I can't remember which it was. It may have been the Sweet set but I'm thinking it was a different one. Who the hell can keep up with their mistakes?!

So they most likely pulled it off the shelves. Let's hope they do the right thing and offer refunds/returns/replacements. Although I for one am not holding my breath. More like wishful thinking.

I'm not font or computer savvy either, but found these and they were listed for free :)

Thanks 20:56!

Y'all are so helpful today - thanks!! ;-)

Anonymous said...

I just checked out MFT's August release preview. I am totally LOVING all their border dies: the triple scallop, double dots, retro squares.

Granted they are only 6 inches long. They are are still awesome.

Anonymous said...

if yu are going to contiue to buy your chance of getting a defective prodct, wrong prodcut, missing product, etc. goes up with each order (just the odds).

so, if want to continue rewarding a company that treats its custumers like dogs, be prepared to stand your ground. be polite, be clear, be firm. and return the product and demand to be reimbursed the total price of the product and the shipping.

fight with paypal or visa or mastercard at the hint of a refusal. save the shipping materials and the invoice.

don't cut apart dies before being sure they work. take a picture before things come out of the box, and take photos as they come out of packaging. more photos as the IM goes through your machine and afterward.

and go public on SCS when none of this matters.

Now, is it worth it? Is your hobby so important to you that you cannot find an alternative product somewhere else? Really?

If so, please don't whine about it!!!

Anonymous said...

I had the same problem with the sunrise IP. I emailed customer service and was directed to send the product back for a full refund. No questions asked.

Anonymous said...

I was also directed to send the ip in for a refund . Julie also added that the postage refund was unlikely in my case because the ip was damaged during use (not defective).

Anonymous said...

Leigh was smart to ask about her dies on the forum. Now if Julie gives her grief about them being damaged during use she can go public.

Anonymous said...

I was told if my product was defective there would not be an issue. I could elect to have a new one shipped to me free of charge or I could get a refund. Painless.

Anonymous said...

I am really most annoyed with the tone of the email from Julie and the fact that she tried to blame me for the problem.
It shows me that even though some superficial changes have been made, nothing has really changed. I'm not sure why that makes me sad and angry. When somebody shows you who they are, believe them.

Anonymous said...

I'm sorry you had that experience. Mine was the opposite. She was very nice and apologetic, noting that they would do whatever it took to make me happy. I was very impressed.

Anonymous said...

Seems to be hit and miss as to how Julie treats customers. Must depend on her mood, which usually seems cranky; looks like she has done the right thing with a few customers.
It must pain her to admit that a product is defective tho - not that PTI admit that publicly.

Anonymous said...

You win Papertrey. You have succeeded at losing one more customer.

Anonymous said...

Great peeks today.

Anonymous said...

Is the forum down for anybody else?

Anonymous said...

I'm out and I gave them the benefit of the doubt for awhille. I have that stupid IP and I dont know if I amd going to stress myself and pay the postage to send it back. They need to think about this refund a few dollars to an individual or lose 100+ dollars a month as in my case They made their choice

PtI why dont you sell to reputable people so people can enjoy the designs with quality products and customer service Its a waste of talent.

Anonymous said...

I no longer care how much I like the designs. I was stupid enough to order after months of boycott and I got what I deserved. I will pursue the postage refund and will share my experience on SCS or 2Peas but I will no longer feel sad about not ordering.

Anonymous said...

Hahaha No one's got the balls to comment on the Lisa Johnson thread.

Anonymous said...

I think Leigh will get a successful resolution to her die problem. She never has a negative comment about PTI and that might get Julie in a good mood to do the right thing.

Anonymous said...

Is Christina Kowalczyk still on the WPlus9 design team? Isn't that a conflict with Papertrey?

Anonymous said...

I can't get onto the forum. Is the thread missing thread still there?

Anonymous said...

^^ maybe PTI knows you are a pot stirrer and they are making it difficult for you to access the forum. I'm not a smacker and I get on every day, every time. Hahahhaha

Anonymous said...

That must be it.

Anonymous said...

Selective pruning is a good thing.

Anonymous said...

Good job Rick. If people can't get on the forum and they aren't ordering, they will have nothing to complain about. Smart!

Anonymous said...

Why is it that Leigh's Customer Service issue about her alpha dies isn't deleted?!! Hypocritcal PTI at it's best.

Anonymous said...

the way I see it. I know who some of the smackers are and they are the ones claiming they can't access the forum. doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

Anonymous said...

^^ because she hasn't slammed them every chance she gets. you reap what you sow smackers.

Anonymous said...

Obviously PTI doesn't care about its:

Reputation

Credibility

Sales

Customers

They've proven it over and over and over and over and over and over and over...

Anonymous said...

If Rick is just getting rid of the trouble makers, I'm sure that banning them will keep them quiet. Good job Rick.

Anonymous said...

I have nothing to add so I'm out.

Anonymous said...

was just over at scs, where is all the pti bashing threads?

Anonymous said...

Did you guys see the 1st peak today? I remember a very similar set from SU many years ago. It was a set of 4 folk art images with that same kind of vertical rectangle. Each season was represented in the set of 4. Anyone remember the name of that set? I'd like to see how close it is to NH's.

Oh, and I smack here and can get on the forum so that blows your theory, 7:07.

And I don't care if you are a smacker or not. If you give PTI money, you deserve a quality product delivered in a reasonable time and, if there is a quality issue, it needs to be dealt with proactively with everyone who purchased treated the same.

Anonymous said...

Rick is only getting rid of smackers that are also critical on the forum.

Anonymous said...

I do remember that stamp set. I'll go and look through my old SU catalogs.

Anonymous said...

stampers design for more than one company all the time. Debbie Olson comes to mind,so no it isn't considered a conflict for Christina to do both Wplus9 and PTI. Good for her.

personally, i would not support PTI as a customer, forum participant, DT member. i wouldn't buy the used products off the forum either.

the company is a bunch of crooks. just ask the former DT about this.

Anonymous said...

I am with you 7:43. I have enough stamps to last me a lifetime and I will no longer be supporting Papertrey period.

Anonymous said...

It was called Country Pleasures.

http://artofstampin.blogspot.ca/2010/10/country-pleasures.html

It was in the 2003-2004 catalog.

Anonymous said...

I'm a smacker and I too can still get on the forum.

Love that the unicorns think this place and the people here are soooo bad, yet they are spending A LOT of time here!

Guess what, that make you just as "bad" as us!

Anonymous said...

Was it just smackers that couldn't get onto the forum? That would be funny.

Anonymous said...

was just over at 2peas and dont see any pti bashing threads?

Anonymous said...

"if there is a quality issue, it needs to be dealt with proactively with everyone who purchased treated the same."

This directly contradicts those who say "it's just an ink pad. They should just bite the bullet and send her the money because the customer is always right and it will make her happy."

Consistency means that some of us will NOT get our way all of the time.

Anonymous said...

The smackers have given up.

Anonymous said...

Consistency also means that all customers will be treated the same. If everybody has the same issue (like with the sunrise ip), why are some people being treated with suspicion on the part of Julie and others are not having any customer service problems at all?

Anonymous said...

PTI is all over the most current, and soon to be released paper crafting magazines. Top designers buy PTI, period. The same people post over and over in the same pti bashing threads. PTI isn't going anywhere with many more happy customers than disgruntled ones. They have the best designs in the industry.

Anonymous said...

You are right. Can't blame a person for trying to right wrongs that are done though.

Anonymous said...

https://papertreyink.zendesk.com/entries/21813656-sunrise-impression-plate

Anonymous said...

Speaking of, if you have personally been at the receiving end of Julie's customer disservice, how do you feel when you see top designers using Papertrey stamps? Do you want to educate them or do you think that they must know how awful the customer service is and choose to buy anyways?

Anonymous said...

Awesome about the defective plate! Admission is the first step to dealing with a problem. Too bad Julie can't take back the words that she wrote to me.

Anonymous said...

Hitler was all over every billboard in Germany, had hundreds of thousands attending his rallies, pruned those that didn't agree with him..

Wow. I guess if that proves he was right I guess I don't want to live in the same world some of the previous commenters do.

Anonymous said...

Just wanted to say thanks! I asked for other stamping companies similar to pti to buy from, and someone suggested Wplus9. I love what I see. The designs are clean, and that's what I was looking for. I appreciate the input.

Anonymous said...

Your comparison to Hitler is not going to change any minds and is unusual to say the least.

Anonymous said...

Seriously? You bring out the Hitler comparison over shoddy product & bitchy customer service? This is stamping supplies, not life at stake.

Anonymous said...

So, was PTI going to personally notify all those customers that they turned away when confronted with the Sunrise IP issue?

I had an issue with my Sunrise IP and had to find out about the defective plate announcement on this blog.

PTI is really pathetic.

Anonymous said...

They posted it on their customer service forum

Which makes sense if it's a customer service issue.

Get a life!

Anonymous said...

8:38 the difference between me and you is that I don't bash PTI and you do. It's a free country, at least for now, so I'll let you entertain me with your bullcrap. You go to the PTI forum and I come here...we're even.

Anonymous said...

9:47 Get real. You are comparing Hitler to a stamping forum. smh

Anonymous said...

10:27, if my first ticket was close out as resolved (after PTI essentially gave me the finger), what reason would I have to go back to the CS forum? Can you get it through your thick skull that people in my situation would have no knowledge about PTI's defective product admission??

Get a life? I have one. I
work hard to earn my money and when I spend that money, I expect to receive quality product in return.

Anonymous said...

An announcement on the forum would also be helpful.

Anonymous said...

And you do get a great product. And when things don't go your way, you try to raise a stink in the hopes of getting your way. If you have a defective product, send it in like the rest of us and get it replaced.

Anonymous said...

9:29 great post. thank you.

Anonymous said...

10:39 agree

Anonymous said...

An announcement on the forum would contradict the "no customer service issues on the forum" policy.

10:39, according to PTI's policy, before a customer can send in a product for replacement/refund, they need, in essence, obtain authorization from PTI. Prior to the Zendesk announcement, I was told by CS (i.e. Julie) that nothing was wrong with my plate. That means if I tried to send it back, it would be returned.

Do you get that????

I get it. I am saying that the policy dictates that if we have an issue, we can return the product for a refund or exchange. Did you try that?

^^ If I rcall, there was another poster on the forum that had difficulties with her bloom builder die and Julie returned the same die after concluding there was no problem.

10:34, I get what you are saying. Julie already told you there was no problem with your IP. There would not be any reason for you to send it back, "post-evaluation," to PTI for another evaluation.

10:43 smh

10:46, I did try to send it back. I contacted CS to let them know my intentions and that's when Julie said to keep the plate b/c nothing was wrong.

I followed the normal procedures for return/exchange and got bupkis!

10:48, your explanation is fine. 10:46 is being obtuse.

10:51, thanks. I completely forgot it's like talking to a wall.

10:43...get the hell out of here
Or we will pollute your forum

Got it ?

10:55, good try but total FAIL.

10:55 ooooooohhhhhh I'm really scared. NOT.

Yes, you will pollute the forum until you get banned.

Rick is still monitoring this blog. He responded immediately to my second Zendesk ticket re: Sunrise IP.

Rick, I want you to know that I really, really appreciate the prompt response. What I don't appreciate, though, is the forum pruning. It's PTI's perogative, no doubt. But you know what they say; the cover up is always worse than the crime.

My CS issues (as of today) are resolved. Signing out, for now . . .

Eh, I don't care if the unicorns want to hang out here. The willful ignorance they display just gives more to poke at. A change of pace from poking PTI's lack of quality as a company.

I would have been much happier if Rick had responded to my sunrise ip issue. I have always found Rick to be helpful.

"I promise you we will do our best to get your issue resolved in a timely fashion to YOUR satisfaction."

...Unless we are trying to cover our ass and pretend that there is nothing wrong with a defective product. 'Cause you evil scheming customers are always trying to get something for nothing out of us...

Ditto what 11:32 said.
Pruning = not cool.

Just wanted to put in a last word here, I'm 09:47 and I want to thank everyone who pulled me out of context :)

My comments weren't directed toward PTI but toward previous posters (please go back and re-read). Especially 9:29 and to a degree those expressing the view of 7:12. I was questioning how you - personally, came up with your value system. You were making the argument that if something is popular, and many people are enjoying it - it must be right. And also that pruning is a legit way to deal with people who don't agree with you.

It wasn't about PTI at all.

My value system is a bit different from yours and includes things like honesty and respect.

HTH!

13:20 LOL Honesty and respect. Give me a break.

14:03 - 13:20 here - a question.

Your comment is mocking.
This kind of mockery is not honest (it simply avoids dealing with what was being discussed)and it isn't respectful (you don't know me - how can you make a value judgement about me?).

So far as I see it, you haven't nullified my claim to hold those qualities dear.

I am, however, left with the conclusion that honesty and respect are not important to you.(Your comment used neither.)

Obviously no one is forcing these values upon you - I just wonder why it was so important to you to air your obvious disdain for them?
