From Erin -I am right there with you all trying to come up with my strategy as far as what to buy this month! Granted, I have a few extra things to factor in (as mentioned on PTI Radio, we get a discount or can choose to earn product with extra blog posts), but I am finding myself coming up with a plan and purchasing in stages. Must haves for me are Shutterbug Special, Sweet Life, the new color packs, Lil Hot Rod (cannot wait...boy mama here), tomorrow's set, and all the dies. Can't wait! What are all you thinking of?

I agree with 11:07. I don't think what she said was inappropriate... smackers are always questioning how/when/how much PTI design team members are paid, and Erin Lincoln just gave us a tiny bit of information about that exact subject.

I can't picture other business owners (i.e: at WMS, Verve, MFT, Gina K) not sending the DT product because they are taking a 2-month maternity leave? It's not like she is leaving indefinitely, it's just for 8 weeks? Also...when I sell stuff on the PTI boards, I turn around and use it at other online stores to buy patterned paper, Copics, Nesties, etc...always ask for Paypal not PTI GC.

I would love to see a PTI comparable cardstock in the same price range. I actually don't mind SU's cardstock but it is twice the price. I am excited to see that Gina K is getting 4 new colors. I would pay a titch more that PTI to support another company.

I am happy that my cart keeps dumping. After seeing the polaroid set today, I was thinking of placing an order. However, my cart from yesterday is gone so it's sort of like a reminder not to.
Love NH's first card. But for the $24 frames set hm... I am more of a dies user so I am sure to buy those. I am on the fence about SG2. Will wait for the full reveal if it's worth the $24.
NH is in competition with Dawn for hideous colors. That green and red and purple rose card is plain horrible. Dawns green roses today are worse than the roses the other day. They are outdoing themselves.
For those of you with your cart dumping, are you using a windows machine? I've had my cart loaded for at least 3 months and it has not dumped. I'm on a Mac using Safari. However, my work computer uses Windows and that cart dumps occasionally.
How can that be? Are you logging into your account? (I'm not). That is the weirdest thing.
The stamps this month don't do much for me, but the dies are killing me. I'm very tempted by the frames, the arrows, and the alphabet. The frame stamps also surprised me. The DT really did a great job selling the frame items.
I am using Windows but I really don't care enough to find out why my cart is dumping. To me it's like a sign that I shouldn't be ordering. Once I get over the rush of wanting to buy, I always get over anything that I thought I had to have.
I love most of the cards today and there are stamps that I really want. I do have enough similar items that I'm not really tempted though.
There is a print and cut camera in the Silhouette store that is really cute as well as others. Just search camera. There are also a handful of polaroid frames.
Is there any easy way to round an interior corner? To make something close to the Polaroid frame, I have a spellbinders set with squares to make the interior cut. Rounding the outer corners would be easy.
FYI, I just checked the polaroid pic of my son in his baby book. No rounded corners, all perfectly square. It was taken with an honest to goodness polaroid camera.
^^And as I remember from my first polaroid camera, those corners were *sharp*!
Anyone taking the Stretch Your Stamps class? I notice they are completely staying away from any and all mention of PTI even though Dawn is one of the designers and using a lot of PTI on her samples. Funny since NH was a designer in the very first card class. Wonder what happened.
Definitely reaching out to the scrapbook market. Not to satisy Leigh, though. I'll bet they're looking for a market that is less aware of the bad press surrounding PTI.
Android users, how do you print your instagram pics? -------------------- I know there are websites where you can upload to and they mail you square instagram pics, but I havent used them. Here's what I do:I either upload my photos from my phone to my computer, or just email them to myself if I don't have a lot. Then open them in Photoshop and size to between 2-3 inches square (depending on what I'm using them for.) Create a new 4x6 canvas and just drag and drop the instagrams onto it and flatten the file. Then you can just print them as a 4x6 photo and cut them apart. And this way you can get 2-6 photos per print which saves a lot of money!

But, real Polaroids are not rounded, are they?
I would keep the corners square. If anything, they are only ever so slightly rounded.
