Yes, but Danielle made 8 projects for today and some of the other girls only did 3 or 4. Betsy and Melissa always use other products and papers, why can't she? I don't see anything wrong with her showing how stamps can be incorporated with what you have on hand also.

Just plain stupid. She clarified that the new cases would result in "minimal" sticking because the sides of the DVD case are studier than the CD cases. Hogwash. If that darn stamps touch each other, they are going to stick, Nichole. The fact that one may now have more force to pull them apart is irrelevant. IDIOT!

I just found that the non-PTI products were very prominent on the cards and that PTI products could have been used instead. It was just an observation but I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

7:14 here again. I got curious after seeing the Eddie Sun site for what might be a new PTI site. This may be old news, but I found a place in Kentucky, T-2 Design, that appears to be the company responsible for the current mess of a site. There is a thumbnail on the T-2 homepage that shows the current PTI site, with a date of 5-08-12. http://www.t-2design.com/
I took a look at some of the projects in both companies' portfolios, and T-2 is definitely in a different category than Eddie Sun. If Eddie Sun is working on a new site, it looks like they may be able to deliver a quality site.
Yeah, I doubt it is a new website b/c it is not one of the "newer" projects in the designer's portfolio (whereas a tennis event from 2011 is featured as one of the "new" projects). Perhaps they hired two developers to create a concept site but chose the other one? (I say this, of course, with no background or working knowledge of setting up an online store.)
Maybe that was the way it was supposed to look like in the beggining but they did not want to pay the real money for a real website!
And FYI it looks like they just randomly pasted PTI's logo/name up there...the tittle on the top reads Papertrey Inc not ink... hello? Looks like BS to me!

that site is really cute and doesn't looked slapped together at all. Although it's a little busier than PTIs usually CAS style, maybe that's why they ultimately scrapped it?

I don't consider PTI as having or exuding a CAS style (not counting Maile, of course, as well as Christina). The only thing that is CAS about PTI is their packaging, IMHO.

23 minutes past 10:00pm, and the front page of the PTI website is still not perfect. WHY can't they shut down the store for 30 minutes before 10:00pm so they can make everything perfect?
Either ordering is way down and not much activity or things are not too bad the tech help is quiet with the exception of the usual slow check out and cart dumping.

22:46, I was just coming here to post that. I can't believe that after making customers wait for 4 months, they ran out of cases in just a few hours! And I'm guessing the turn around time is going to be 3-4 weeks, just like their dies (which I think is BS, it shouldn't take so long, but that is a post for a different day!). People who planned on ordering DVD cases on the 21st are going to be so upset.

I've been using SU cases for over a year and love them for my clear stamps. Although, I'm wanting to switch my storage system again. The case aren't crystal clear but they seal completely, you can slip the labels under the plastic sleeve, and they don't break or crack if you drop them.
I also use the SU cases and LOVE them!
I use and love the SU cases too. Wish they didn't raise the prices when they did. Used to be 4.95. I was OK with that price but when they went to 5.95 that irked me a bit.
5:52, I know you can find the same DVD case that PTI sells. I say that only b/c I purchased a used stamp set from the forums and the case it was shipped/sent in was the same as PTI's "new" DVD cases. I will PM the seller and ask abot where she purchased it. Stay tuned . . .
(Personally, I don't like the cases b/c they are too thin, allowing the stamps to kiss/touch.
Clear and Simple Stamps also uses the DVD storage system. Oh. And they are in stock too. Not sure why PTI only ordered so few for inventory. Obviously there are a lot of folks who needed them for all the new sets. Poor planning again.
I will continue to use the cd cases with a piece of cardstock in between the stamps so that they don't stick. I am not sure how I am going to store the $18 sets yet but I only have 1 so it isn't really an issue. Some of the sets will have to be divided between 2 cd cases but I store my PTI stamps in the 4 cube Michael's drawers so I'm not going to change my entire storage system.

Given the issues that they've had with the new website, I don't think that any program is really simple. Maybe once the website is glitch free and has all of the features that people would like to see, shipping might become more of a priority. Personally, this is one thing that really deters me from buying.

Yeah, looks like the DVD cases at Clear and Simple Stamps are the same as PTIs. But the price difference-- yikes! CSS sells five cases for $7, whereas PTI gives you six cases for $5.
tapeonline is where most of the folks started ordering from.... their dimensions are slightly different from the new PTI ones though. They are the same depth but the tapeonline are 7.8"x5.5" where PTIs are 7.5"x5.6" similar but not the same, unless someone sucks at measuring.the tapeonline price is 0.88 per case though and they don't have free shipping or volume discounts (unless you get some sort of promo code). PTIs are 0.83 and obviously if you combine with a larger order can get free shipping.

someone asked how to tell how many of an item are left. You add the item to your cart and then change the qty to 1,000 and hit update item. It will then adjust down to whatever qty remain (provided it is less 1000)

13:33- Why won't the frames fit into the project life pages? I was considering buying the set down the road to use with project life. The largest die is listed as being 3"x4". My understanding is that the pockets in the PL pages hold both 3"x4" and 4"x6" size cards. Sorry for my ignorance, but I don't actually own any PL pages yet.
Pl page holders are not 3" wide, they something like 2-7/8" so you would have to trim them further
