Looks like someone beat me to it on the last thread. But I love Gina's new Strawberry set! WAY better than PTI's version. Better sentiments too.

I haven't bought any of Gina's cardstock waiting for a stamp set that I really liked to come along. I am happy to say that today I will buy some along with the matching strawberry pattern paper.

http://www.shop.ginakdesigns.com/product.sc?productId=1256&categoryId=16

Anonymous said...

The matching paper (strawberry) is gorgeous. Is there any vendor that sells both My Favorite Things and Gina K? I hate paying shipping for single sets all over the place. Simon Says has MFT but I did not see Gina stamps there.

Anonymous said...

I think only Gina sells her stuff.

Anonymous said...

Just placed a Gina K. order! 30 seconds later a confirmation and 2 minutes after that a shipping notice.

Anonymous said...

Coming up on 4 months of no PTI orders, but Ellen Hutson, Impress, Gina K (today) and A Muse are getting my money. My birthday is soon and I have let everyone know not to go with PTI this year for me.

Anonymous said...

My experiences in the last few weeks:

Placed Impress order and received in 72 hours.
Place an Ellen Hutson order and received in 36 hours.
Placed an A Muse order and received it in 48 hours.
Placed a Simon Says order and received it in 4 days.

Anonymous said...

I know this was asked before, but I think I skimmed over it because I didn't have any money at the time. But does anyone have an Ink chart comparison with the Fresh Ink (Impress) and the AMuse ink?

I know they are made by the same mfr and I don't want to order duplicate inks. I have ALL the Amuse inks and want to add to the collection with some more blue and pink inks.

Anonymous said...

Sadly I like the PTI strawberry set more than the Gina K set.I don't like rubber anymore and I like that the PTI set has matching dies. I am also really wanting some PTI cardstock.

I have enough in my stash to last 1000 lifetimes though so I won't order.

Anonymous said...

Dave was left out of the cs forum? Kinda funny.

Anonymous said...

Unfortunately I just can never get excited about any of Gina K's stamps.

Anonymous said...

Besides the international order that went by the wayside, cart crashing, hating the new website - what are the CURRENT outstanding issues everyone is still hating on?

Just curious

Anonymous said...

I'm not loving that Gina K set either. I prefer the fonts in PTI's set.

zendesk....

same old shit, but with a twist

omathgoddess said...

So, I didn't receive the Simply You sentiment correction, even though I sent a note to zendesk with my Canadian address since I didn't want it sent to my US shipping address.

Here is what I wrote to zendesk and the response I received from Dave:

Hi,

I sent an e-mail last week about my shipping address for the Simply You correction. I have not heard back.

My order number was 199072.

My CANADIAN mailing address is:

Since I am banned from the forum, I have no way of receiving updates other than through e-mail. Please let me know the status of my request.

Hi,
Thank you for your order 199072. The Simply You corrections will be sent to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your email reminder. Please check Nichole's blog for updates.
Thanks,

PTI

Nichole claims she never got it. Here is what Dawn wrote in a pm to me:

"I heard back from Nichole and you were on the list, so your stamp was sent out, however we didn't get word from you that you wanted it shipped to your Canada address, so it was shipped to the US address you use to order with.

She did say though, that she was happy to send a second stamp & index label today, to the Canadian address you provided, so you should receive it sometime next week."

Why does the left hand not know what the right hand is doing?

Anonymous said...

Besides the international order that went by the wayside, cart crashing, hating the new website - what are the CURRENT outstanding issues everyone is still hating on?

Just curious.

I don't know of anything current but like most, I don't really care anymore. I don't go to the sunshine forums and I don't shop at PTI. Besides the fact that they lost me as a customer a while back because of their cs handlings, it is too expensive to have cardstock shipped to Canada and there isn't much else that I want.

Anonymous said...

The GinaK strawberry set is just okay to me. However, I love the Vintage Notes set (http://www.shop.ginakdesigns.com/product.sc?productId=1255&categoryId=16) and the Great Sayings set (http://www.shop.ginakdesigns.com/product.sc?productId=1258&categoryId=16). I really like the strawberry patterned paper, too. And I think the One in a Million free with three set is nice (http://www.shop.ginakdesigns.com/product.sc?productId=99&categoryId=16)

But her sets are red rubber, aren't they? And that's a bummer.

I do really love that strawberry paper. And I like the other two patterned paper packs she shows on her what's new page, too. But then, I'm a total paper hoarder. I need paper like I need a hole in my head.

Anonymous said...

Sorry, I shouldn't have said "like most, I don't really care anymore". I have no idea how anybody else feels.

Anonymous said...

a few thoughts

I was the person who misquoted Nichole on the cracked ink pads. I guess I made a big mistake. Would have sworn the thread read differently. My mistake and I apologize to all.

Also, suspect that Gina and MANY other stamp company owners are reading this.

Gina -- PULEEZE make clear stamps also.

Rick, how ya doing little buddy??

Anonymous said...

I agree about Gina's stamps - if they had a index on the foam, that might be different, but I'd be more likely to buy some of her sets if they were clear.

Thanks to the other poster who mentioned they had misquoted/misremembered Nichole on the cracked ink pad lids. I knew I read it somewhere besides Chris's post!

13:17, I'm not Canadian and i don't care what happens at PTI anymore either

Anonymous said...

Wow! Another passive aggressive post by Nichole. What if you don't read the forums or heaven forbid actually have a life outside of PTI? It's not like they posted anything about the replacement sentiment address deadline on the main site or even the zendesk where people are supposed to go for CS.

Anonymous said...

PTI lost me with e deleted emails issue. I'm a little embarrassed to say that I delt with a few cs issues before that and I actually assumed that I was taking things too personally and no snark or crummy attitude was meant. I will say that it does make me a little sad, but I think I have mostly gotten over it. If they do release something that I have to have, I will watch the for sale boards.

It does seem though that when it seems things are getting better, Nichole posts something on the board that makes me wonder how a business owner can think to talk to people the way she does.

Anonymous said...

Hmmmm, when Nichole tells a customer they made a mistake the thread doesn't get locked.

Anonymous said...

What a cunty response from Nichole!

Anonymous said...

So Dave the Customer Service rep, didn't have access to the Customer Service forum!

Right hand "what are you doing", left hand "don't bother me I'm jacking off"!

What a fucking joke!

Anonymous said...

I wonder how long after the due date the address was sent. The stamp was sent at least ten days after Nichole said it would be....

Also, why did Dave say it would be taken care of if it was a problem? Why didn't he tell the poster it was too late?

Anonymous said...

Please link me up to the post by Nichole.

Anonymous said...

Forgot to add...

Way to go Rick. No wonder you think the three stooges are brilliant business women. You're just as moronic as they are!

Anonymous said...

Damn! The post was made to Omath!

Dave's response to an out of stock question:

Hello Joyce,

Please accept my apology for the delay in responding to your question. I am sorry that I do not have a timeline of when the buttons will be back in stock. Please check the website often and look for the back in stock updates on the PTI Newsletter and Nichole's blog.

Thanks,

Dave

From Nichole:

I thought it was important to post my response to you in the other thread where you stated these concerns here as well.

It is important to note a few details that were not mentioned in your response here. First, on March 23rd, I posted the following statement on the thread where you personally requested that we give customers the option to provide an alternate address for this mailing.

"If you require your extra sentiment stamp and label to be sent to an alternate address other than the address that the original purchased set was sent to, please PM one of the team members and we will update your label. Address changes will need to be received by Monday, 5pm ET in order to be added to the system before the shipping process for these is completed."

The original post can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=33926&p=377584#p377584

With this notice being posted on Friday, March 23rd, the deadline for providing an alternate address was Monday, March 26th. It is also important to note that the directions stated to PM a team member with the alternate address because they were the ones compiling the information in one central location. Unfortunately, you provided your information after the due date and chose not to PM a team member, but utilize an alternate method. Because the instructions were not followed, your U.S. shipping address was not modified.

You have already been sent the promised stamp & index label to your U.S. address, where it will be waiting for you the next time you cross the border for a package. I however have also taken the initiative to mail a second stamp & index label to you according to the Canadian address you provided in your PM with Dawn this morning. I sent it first class mail in an A2 envelope this afternoon and it should most likely arrive to you sometime next week.

All she had to say was sorry for the confusion. One set was sent to your US address but I just another set to your CDN address. But unfortunately, once again she is blaming the customer.

Anonymous said...

When were updates posted on her blog? Maybe she posted and the locked it so no one could see.

omathgoddess said...

Just to be clear:

I did send an e-mail.

I then followed up with an e-mail to zendesk when I was banned, because I thought my set might "coincidentally" go missing. You know, like all of the anniversary sets.

So yes, I did meet your deadlines, Nichole, and jumped through your hoops. But again, it is my fault.

Sorry - that was meant to be my third post.

I had copied the note I sent to zendesk and Dave' reply to it.

Okay Rick. I am not going to post on the forum but I would like your opinion on this. How can this statement by Nichole

"You have already been sent the promised stamp & index label to your U.S. address, where it will be waiting for you the next time you cross the border for a package. be taken in any other way than bitchy? Omath is a customer and jumped through the hoops. Shouldn't Nichole have checked out the facts before trying to blame Omath for the mistake? Even if it was an honest miscommunication between OMG and Nichole, trying to shame OMG publicly? Damn.

Anonymous said...

Are you going to lock or delete the thread Rick?

Anonymous said...

From Nichole-

Since you are requesting details, I checked back into your posting history and you were very active and posting frequently within the forum between Friday and Monday of that weekend, however we didn't hear from you in regards to your address change. You were not banned until Monday afternoon because of your TOS violations earlier that morning.

I apologize for the confusion with the Customer Service, but regardless of that miscommunication I have now received your message and I have mailed out your sentiment stamp & label. As I said earlier, you should receive them in about a week.

Anonymous said...

I think Nichole is a big fat bitch also but I don't see how PTI is in the wrong by not sending the stamp to the original address the was sent to?

Anonymous said...

Well Nichole locked the threads!

Anonymous said...

Wow, a pissing match with your customers. So professional.

Anonymous said...

I am right, I am right, I am not going to back down and I am going to stomp my feet until I prove that I am right.Even if I am wrong.

WOW Nichole, you should have stopped about 3 posts ago!

Anonymous said...

And then I am going to lock the thread so that I have the last word!

Anonymous said...

I was planning to give PTI a second chance, but Nichole's treatment of customers today just made my decision to stay away permanent.

Anonymous said...

Nice.Getting into it on a public forum with a customer and then locking the thread so that you get the last word. Every time you do this you are losing customers. Maybe you should delete the threads altogether so that nobody can see how it played out. You look like the fool.

Anonymous said...

Okay dt gals, start posting like mad so that you can push those embarrassing threads down the board!

omathgoddess said...

Just saw the "reply" from Nichole...

So, I got banned on the 26th, and sent the e-mail on the 26th to customer service because I was banned and could not pm a dt member.

Followed up a week later with zendesk. Told it would be looked after.

But yes, it is all my fault.

So happy you are so confident with your reasoning, Nichole, that you can lock the thread before I post a screen shot of the e-mail I sent on the 26th, and the (non) reply from Jennifer. Class act all the way.

Anonymous said...

I would be tempted to send the screenshot to someone else to post. Nichole has learned how to hide by denying, lying, locking threads before the facts can be presented.

Anonymous said...

Nichole just looks like an ass.

I can't believe that she got into a pissing match with a customer.

I would be so mad omath!

Anonymous said...

I have a full cart (mostly cardstock) and I was thinking about ordering in the next month or so, provided that things started to look up.

Nichole just pisses me off with her attitude. I just cannot believe that she couldn't just let this quietly slide but had to get her 2 cents in.

Anonymous said...

OMATH-
You could start another thread with that, you know. What have you got to lose now?

Anonymous said...

I am not going to egg you on omath because the only thing that will happen is that Rick or Nichole will delete the thread right away and then you will be banned again.

Anonymous said...

You know they are going to look for any reason on earth to ban her anyway. She makes too much sense and puts the light on the exact places they want to keep hidden. She has nothing to lose.

No kidding - we found that thing to complain about! It's business as usual and I use the term business quite loosely.

Too bad the thread is locked (and I don't have a login anyway)... I'd cut & paste Steph's post about how to give an apology, LOL!!!

Nichole can't dig her own hole fast enough. But I actually think I know why she kept posting like that -- she really does think she's right. She's delusional.

---------------------------------

Look, the point Nichole was trying to make was that she told you ON THE 23RD, in a response to YOUR QUESTION on a thread about the matter, what you needed to do - PM a DT member with your special request regarding the address.

You said you didn't do that because you were banned, so how could you PM anyone? But YOU WEREN'T BANNED during the time frame relevant to you following those directions.

I'm not saying that Nichole couldn't have stood to bite her tongue a little bit harder and tone down her reply a bit. But I can understand how she felt the need to defend herself, since she HAD replied to you and told you what needed to be done in order to CHANGE the address for the replacement stamp from your original order, and YOU came on the thread with a snotty remark about how you hadn't gotten it.

Here's what I don't understand. Apparently this whole exchange took place on the PTI forum??

Why wasn't it in the customer service forum on zendesk?

I HATE the double standard over there. Positive threads or ones where Nichole can throw her weight around are still gunking up the regular forum. Excuse me, but if you're going to have a customer service forum, then keep everything over there.

Anonymous said...

Exactly, 18:36.

Someone needs to draw Nichole a map to the high road, because I don't think she has a clue where to find it.

Is there a psychological term for a personality that must be right all the time, at any cost? It damn well applies here.

Gotcha. She had time to post actively between the 23rd - 26th, and to post whatever it was that (rightly or wrongly) got her banned on the 26th, not to mention all her active posting here.... but NOT time to follow up on HER QUESTION in another thread about how she could get the stamp sent to a different address. Even if Nichole was right (directed at the 2 defenders), she should NOT have argued with omath on the forum just to prove said rightness.

It is just bad business to fight with a customer on a public forum. It shows more about her character than anything.

Anonymous said...

How people can still worship at the feet of Nichole after seeing who she really is, simply amazes me. She is a manipulator and believes that anyone who disagrees with her is wrong, every time. I don't care if she is right, you DO NOT TREAT CUSTOMERS like garbage as she always does. You just don't do it no matter how justified you feel you are. She is going to lose her business all over having to prove she never makes a mistake.

Anonymous said...

Haha, special kind of smart!

Anonymous said...

Nichole is a special kind of smart to think that it's okay to belittle a customer like that.

i dont believe people who are pointing out discrepancy are feet worship-ers. the facts are there it seems. omath is passive aggressive and manipulates the situation. was N right in doing what she did? prob not but how much shit can a person take? between omath and barbara its been alot.

Anonymous said...

It is Nichole's JOB to "take it" publicly. She is a fool to take those people on in public. She may be wildly creative, but has no social skills and certainly no public relation skills. The other 2 owners should shut her up now!.

I had to LOL over the fact that Dave, the CS guy, was not set up to get on the threads he needed to see. Like the 3 Stooges over there.

Anonymous said...

Nichole and Julie brought this on themselves. All that barbara and omath did was to point out their issues.

Anonymous said...

thank god for omath sigh....

Anonymous said...

You cannot blame omath and Barbara for shining a light on the mess. If there were no mess there would be nothing to reveal to customers. Watching the 3 stooges try to explain, cover up, and outright lie is like watching a train wreck. Imagine if they used the same kind of passion to FIX things.

Anonymous said...

7:04- hahahaaaaha!
Watch out! Says that bird.

Anonymous said...

Nichole will have to learn to bite her tongue in these types of situations. No good will come of her proving that she's right by calling the customer a liar.

The people that are intent on agreeing with Nichole being right are missing the point entirely.

It's how Nichole handles it that is the problem.

Anonymous said...

"The other 2 owners should shut her up now!"

Exactly what I was thinking. There are 3 people supposedly running this business. If I were one of the other two, I'd be stepping in. At this point, damage control should be #1 priority. Cut the crap. DO NOT have another release in May -- fix the damn site and control customer service.

The fact that they are still flailing around is disturbing. Doesn't anyone there have any sense at all??

Anonymous said...

So, wanting things to go to different addresses, was that on purpose to sit back and watch the fuck up and then be able to point it out? just curious

Anonymous said...

7:04 - awe, don't insult the Honey Badger like that. Honey Badger IS bad ass.

Anonymous said...

19:32 are you really so blind to where the problems lie? You really think the customers have to trip them up? They do this all on their own. They are cartoon characters.

Anonymous said...

Julie would have answered omath exactly like Nichole did so I cannot see her trying to stop anything.

They really don't understand public relations and probably don't see anything wrong with the way that Nichole answered.

Anonymous said...

So, let me get this straight. Omath was able to post on the forum and possibly PM one of the DT members up to and including Monday until she was banned? And wasn't Monday the cut off to send in an alternate mailing address for the set?

I agree Nichole should probably not have handled it the way she did in the post but still ...

PTI is under siege or at least feels that it is. PTI believes that there is a coordinated, mean spirited effort to take down the company.

so if a customer that PTI believes is an enemy complains in public, PTI will attack back.

And this is why PTI is not going to recover from this mess anytime soon.

And I do not believe that there is a "dave"....

Anonymous said...

I do have to agree. They think it is customers trying to take down their company. It is paranoia, as there is no reason that formerly happy, I mean DELIGHTED consumers, would try to take down a company when they love the products unless there was a serious problem.

The deadline to send a note about the Simply You sentiment was on March 26th. In my world, that means that you can send your request that day.

So I did.

I did not miss the deadline. I simply did not send a pm to a DT member before I was banned, which was during the day on the 26th. As soon as I remembered, which was easily within 15 minutes of being banned, I sent my note to customer service with my Canadian address.

Please feel free to send an e-mail to omathgoddess@gmail.com and I will forward you the message I sent to PTI, well within the timeframe that was requested.

omathgoddess said...

Quoting from above post:

"If you require your extra sentiment stamp and label to be sent to an alternate address other than the address that the original purchased set was sent to, please PM one of the team members and we will update your label. Address changes will need to be received by Monday, 5pm ET in order to be added to the system before the shipping process for these is completed."

My e-mail was sent well within this time limit. I could not have foreseen that I was not going to be able to pm a DT member because I was banned. If your were in my shoes, would it not be reasonable to assume that sending an e-mail to their customer service address would accomplish the same thing?

Further, they had plenty of time to follow up on my zendesk request before they FINALLY mailed them out a full three weeks after the deadline.

In the real world, a real business person/company owner would never publicly bitch-slap a customer. Especially if she wanted to stay successful.

So entitled you are. Does the world revolve around you as well? I find it so ironic that everyone got there stamp but you. You must be a joy to live with. I'm sure everything takes more time than needed as you rework how it should be so the focus can be on poor you.
What's the phrase-special kind of stupid miss integrity?

Anonymous said...

@4:50 Nichole, is that you? If so then to answer your question, yes, the world revolves around the customer and how to make them happy. Unless of course you think it's all about you and in that case, you won't have customers for long.

Anonymous said...

omath -- move on. you made your point and you are revealing what a little @#$5 you are. if you hate the company, quit ordering and get off the forum.

nichole -- you made a fool of yourself. you hate this customer. while I don't blame you, you are too thin skinned to be the face of a company. get off the forum. Use "dave" to be you from now on.

Anonymous said...

Let's look at it this way. Let's pretend that this situation happened to Gina K. How would she answer? Would she go on and on about how right she is or would she do everything that she could to make the customer happy?

It doesn't matter if Nichole was justified in defending herself. Nichole is being watched by hundreds of customers that want to start buying again. If she can't answer questions on a message board without being a complete bitch, people will notice.

I was going to start buying again in a few months. When something like this happens, I am watching quietly to see how it is handled. I am not trying to bring down the company but judging by this blog, there are a few of us that are spending our money elsewhere.

Anonymous said...

I have to agree. I can't stand Nichole and have smacked PTI extensively. But I think omath's attitude is trying to push nichole's buttons just to irritate her. I don't know think pti had any reason to even offer the alternate shipping to begin with. And now with Omath looking like a petty shit-stirrer it's hard for the rest of us with legitimate complaints.

So Nichole acts like an ass over something that was PTI's fault to begin with which then lead to their moronic SASE idea and was then still sent out after it was promised and omath is the problem? That's some interesting logic.

And how exactly does one plan ahead for the admin and/or Nichole to have an infantile hissy fit and ban you without cause?

But it wasn't one mistake, 6:14. It was an entire series of mistakes, one after the other, over ONE issue. It's ludicrous.

We only respond to customer service issues through zendesk or whatever channels they have. And just repeat it over and over until the forum is JUST a place for stamping. Got a problem with a stamp set, call zendesk.

and then resolve issues on zendesk. if it is an issue that effects a lot of customers, put a locked message on the forum where to get info on it.

-------------------
Of course, if NH had not set the record straight, then people reading the thread would have bought into OMG insisting that she did what she was supposed to do in order to receive the special treatment of having the stamp sent to an alternative address (which she clearly didn't, no matter how many times she says she did). So then it would be "shame on PTI, look at how lousy their CS is STILL, even though OMG did everything right, they fucked up again and didn't re-direct her stamp."

It's a no-win for PTI, no matter what they do, it will never be the right thing for you smackers.

Anonymous said...

If Nichole can never be right according to us smackers, then why are you wasting our time by being over here defending little miss perfect? Go back to your rainbows and unicorns board and leave us the hell alone!

Anonymous said...

"The original problem was unprofessional. The first solution was unprofessional. Telling people to privately PM a cutesy DT member instead of using CS channels was unprofessional. And Nichole's answers/forum presence are highly unprofessional."

Perfectly worded. I'm glad not everyone is losing sight of why there is a problem to begin with. Having anyone privately PM "any DT member" is absurd. Go through proper channels.

And Amen to this:
"We only respond to customer service issues through zendesk or whatever channels they have. And just repeat it over and over until the forum is JUST a place for stamping. Got a problem with a stamp set, call zendesk."

You have the damn service - use it. They make a big deal with that lengthy announcement from Nichole about moving CS out of the regular forum, and then she lets this drag out. I'm sure she did it because she thought it would make her look picked on and glorify how she handled it. You know she's self-righteous and I'm sure she thought this made her look great - oh my, just see how she can stand up to pissy customers. As usual, she's wrong and it backfired.

If they don't do as the above poster said and force every CS issue into the zendesk system, then they are just IMHO screwing up ONE MORE TIME. And I believe that every time they pull some crap like that, another customer will walk. As it should be.

I don't think ANYONE is trying to "take down" this company. No one needs to - they've got that taken care of from the inside out.

Anonymous said...

"It's a no-win for PTI, no matter what they do, it will never be the right thing for you smackers."

Not true.

When they aren't screwing up, the talk here is more about other places people are spending their money, and not much smacking going on. Things were quiet for quite a few days. That's about as long as PTI goes before they handle something poorly and call attention to it.

I think everyone here would be perfectly happy and some would even return to shopping there if: The website were fixed; customer service stayed at zendesk and people who bother to get a login could see that the issues are being handled; they stop messing up stamp sets or other products that need replacement, etc. And maybe others could add to the list of things they're dissatisfied about.

You just don't get it. People here want to be happy about PTI. And frankly there are probably quite a few observers who are just curious if they will EVER get their act together. It's not looking good yet.

Anonymous said...

If Nichole ignored omath or if she had nodded and smiled and assured omath that she would be getting the stamps in a polite way, there wouldn't have been an issue.

Nichole had to be right and she had to prove that she was right. That made her look like a bitch.

Nichole had to "clarify" in order to be right.

To the person that is saying that us smackers will never be happy, situations like this are a perfect opportunity for Nichole to show that she actually grasps the concept of customer service.

Anonymous said...

My cart is full of cardstock and a few stamp sets. I was thinking about ordering.

Once again I realize that if I have a problem, I will have to jump through hoops to get it solved. I sure wish that Nichole would just keep her mouth shut so that I could feel okay with ordering again.

Anonymous said...

In my business, if after I print a shipping label or address a package, a customer would call with instructions to ship to another address, I would RE-ADDRESS the package and send to the new address. I would probably roll my eyes or complain to another employee, but I would NEVER bring the incident to my subsequent customers. No matter how "right" I am about being pissed off, I would never let the other customers I serve know. BTW, my replacement stamp was postmarked 4/13 so what is the BFD about redirecting the stamp to OMG.

About not seeing the deadline for address changes on the forum. I didn't see that entry either. Wouldn't or shouldn't that info be directed to Nicole's blog and also the PTI store?

This all has reinforced my decision to stay away. Hardly ever go to the forum. My April stamping budget was spent yesterday on 2 pairs of shoes at one of the best customer service business, Nordstroms. They KNOW customer service. I felt like a million bucks when I walked out of there yesterday.

Anonymous said...

I don't get the thing about the dates either.

The 26th was the deadline and she was banned that day when she wrote to them about it. It's nobody's business where she was or what she was doing/posting the other days. The deadline was the 26th.

And no kidding about how late they were sent out anyway! It took them how many weeks to take care of that? And it's not like they all went out the 27th. Give me a break - this is so stupid it isn't even funny.

This never would've been a problem if she didn't have to use a US address b/c the Canadian shipping is such a ripoff. Is shipping to Canada such a pain from every other US company or is that a moot point?

And why wasn't it kept in the CS forum? They are so ass-backward with their inconsistent "policies," they may as well not even have them. What a bunch of dingalings.

Anonymous said...

In the end, what damages that company can be summed up in two words in that last post: Stupid dingalings.

They keep making stupid choices. Over and over again. How do you have confidence in a company like that?

Anonymous said...

SLightly OT here.

You all remember when the former DT members were talking about how badly they were treated?

Do you think Nichole has learned her lesson there? Or do the present DT members not care? Or do you think we're going to see them jump ship? I mean... uh... move on... LOL!

In the past was that sort of thing announced at release time? (Which would be another bad idea, of course, which is probably why I thought that's when they'd do it.)

Anonymous said...

MY guess is that most of the current dt members are part of the in crowd so they probably don't get treated poorly.

These designers -
Alli Miles
Beth Silaika
Candice Aguilar
Lexi Daly
Melissa Bickford
Tiffany Pastor
IMO would be a different story. I'd like to hear how they are treated.

Anonymous said...

Simple cost analysis:

For the same amount of $ spent by PTI (fixing the original issue, mailing the extra to Omath, whatever) there are two scenarios:

A) Bitch-slap the customer publicly, therefore not only losing Omath's business but some spectators (me, for one) in the process.

B) No matter where the fault lies, move fwd, keep it light, gain trust and respect by all those watching. Gain customers and enhance damaged reputation.

NH choosing scenario A was not good business sense. Nothing was gained by her or her customers. Nobody came out better for her choice.

Anonymous said...

8:06 Lauren Meader was very much part of the "in road" when she was treated poly. She sold a *lot* of PTI to me for certain.

So weird how people can find a way to defend NH's consistent poor treatment of everyone. Yep - it must have been those ex-DT member's own fault because they weren't popular. Are you saying that makes it okay??

Anonymous said...

^^^ "In CROWD"

Anonymous said...

Oh, I don't think she meant that. There are some who work at being with the "in crowd" -- they go along, put up with whatever, just because they like the attention, "prestige" (what's left) or whatever reason. Or they just suck up so much that they are "in." The others just probably had too much integrity to do that.

So she's just saying that in her opinion it looks like some are "favored" and the others are not.

I honestly suspect that if they are not in the "in crowd" then they are not suckups and I like them more for it.

Anonymous said...

What PTI has done is circled the wagons around the customers and are shooting inwards. They don't need outside enemies. They have targeted their most loyal customers to wound.

Anonymous said...

No, what I was saying is that the ex dt members were probably not part of the in crowd through no fault of their own and so they were treated poorly. One of the ex dt members said that she was asked to leave because her blog traffic wasn't high enough.

I didn't in any way mean that it was the ex dt's fault. I meant that Nichole has now chosen her dt based on popularity and those that already have a following without PTI. She has no reason to be mean to them.

Anonymous said...

The designers that I've listed are not as "popular" and for them it's likely "strictly business" meaning that they aren't all chummy with Nichole.

Obviously this is just my own opinion.

Anonymous said...

When I say the designers that I listed I mean stamp designers, not the dt.

Add That 2 The List said...

So if we drop them all from our google readers, will they get the boot too? LOL. I don't see that being the sole reason when you look at upstarts like Lizzie Jones. She can't have that many hits.

I think the bottom line is if you consistently agree with PTI and never question or speak out against any of their practices, you're safe. But, if you've got a mind of your own and a backbone (or logic or a sense of fairness) they don't want to hear from you.

Anonymous said...

I think those who stay (dt) are those who always agree with Nichole and make sure she does not slip from her pedestal (which is about 2 inches high these days)..

If someone who has the A Muse inks would stamp off a stamp in each color and label them and then mail them to me, I will stamp with my Fresh Inks (have all but about 6-7 of them now) and will report back as to how the colors match or do not match. Email me at rubyslippers@neofast.net if you are interested in doing this.

8:06, I really miss Candice Aguilar! Her sets were the best! I just googled her and it looks like she had a couple of kids, so I don't know how much that was a part of her absence from PTI. Couldn't blame her either way - Nichole seems like she would be a nightmare to work with.

This latest issue with OMG is really beyond the pale. Like others have said, no matter how much you might think you're in the right, you NEVER take it out on the customer. The customer is ALWAYS right, publicly. Complain to your co-workers all you want - Lord knows I did that when I was in CS positions! But I never, ever took it out on the customer. And Nichole should have never held that conversation publicly on the forum either. Whoever said it was unprofessional is right on. Unprofessional is Nichole Heady's middle name.

I feel like we should create a petition stating what we want to see from PTI before we would consider returning there to shop. I don't know how else to communicate with such unresponsive business owners. Maybe if a lot of people signed it and it was a serious statement of what we've been disappointed in and what would need to change to win us back, they would listen? But it's hard to say what a company who thinks it's okay to delete all their CS emails would listen to. For fuck's sake, what is wrong with them?!

Donna C. said...

I think a petition would be a waste of time & effort. Not that it isn't a good idea - it is, but PTI won't give it the time of day. They only speak one language: MONEY. The only effort that makes any difference is absolutely, under no circumstance or temptations, DO.NOT.GIVE THEM ANY MORE MONEY. It feeds the beast.

There is nothing about SAF that excites me. The stamp set is meh.

Did I read wrong or is the deeply discounted price for the $200+ worth of products only $195? Is that a huge savings?

Anonymous said...

No thank you to SAF.

At least Nichole was clear about the shipping/return policy. Let's hope that this goes smoothly.

Anonymous said...

The add-ons are no kind of deal.

The tote collection says $100 value for $80. Now that's a good deal but they don't break down all of the prices. So I guess it depends on how much an individual thinks the tote, the pencils, and the badges are worth. My estimations end up with the bag being about $30. It's hard to say if these products are truly worth $100 to start.

If I were still a proud customer, I'd be tempted to buy it because I think the tote package is pretty cool. But I would not be proud to carry the PTI logo anymore.

It's a shame. There was a time I'd be so excited that this is something anyone can participate in and I'd definitely do it.
