I finally got my Distress Markers yesterday that I ordered in February. I know it was pre-orders but still they should not have been being sold without the product production under control. Even as pre-order

Grammar Check said...

Can you report on how they work with pti stamps?

Anonymous said...

You just got them??

Anonymous said...

06.24: Have heard comments that the Distress Markers don't match the ink pads too well.
Would be interesting to hear you what you think.

Anonymous said...

How are distress markers and inks different from regular inks?

Anonymous said...

Off to my usual good start by commenting on the old post, LOL!

PTI Smack-in-Charge, THANK YOU and great job getting a new post up before 200! :)

Anonymous said...

I honestly thought that things were looking up at PTI. I couldn't care less about SAF, but seeing the way they are handling the delay tells me that nothing has changed and it probably never will.

Seriously, there's a thread asking for clarification and the only new info being provided is by Melissa -- and she says if she finds out more she'll pass it along??

How stupid. You have to dig up a thread in the forum to find out basic information like this??? Make a freakin' announcement that people can actually understand. And be honest about it. Ridiculous.

Anonymous said...

I was really surprised to see Melissa's avatar on the forum. On Nichole's sidebar, her photo looks like she's maybe 20 years old -- her forum avatar presents an entirely different picture. Sort of senior citizen-y.

I wish I could find someone to work the magic of those sidebar photos on me, LOL!!

I can't believe what this woman Bahb wrote on the SCS PTI "frustrated" thread. Stupid!

Anonymous said...

Can you link it please? I have not been able to get into SCS for years and they won't fix it.

Anonymous said...

And---drum roll---my cart is dumping again!

Anonymous said...

I meant "paste" please.

Anonymous said...

LOL - glad you said paste because I was about to link!

Unbelieveaable!!!!

Bahb: "I feel sorry for the owners. The ink debacle was the beginning of troubles that have closed many shops....... quality of the products we stampers use has gone south, and we can't blame the Retailers for that. The Retailers are all stuck with shoddy products we return, and the manufacturers are sticking to their story that nothing has changed when in fact the changes have been HUGE.

Many, probably MOST, on-line shops are held hostage by the developers of their web sites. If the design is a failure, it isn't as if the Owners of PTI can fix that themselves. Whoever does their web site work has to have the resources to fix the problems, and there is every possibility fixing the web site problems could bankrupt the PTI owners and/or the site developers.

Bottomline, we're not privy to what's really happening at PTI but I'm 100% positive it' not just intentional sloth that keeps their web site nearly impossible to use. Jumping ship when they are in trouble doesn't seem the right choice, but then the right choice is so seldom the EASY choice. It's just that the right choice, in this case, takes a whole lot more time than most of us have for shopping the items PTI carries.

If you've looked at their Gallery lately you've probably noticed some pages have large advertisements for pharmaceuticals like Viagra, near the bottoms of the pages. You KNOW that wouldn't be the choice of the Owners of PTI."

Anonymous said...

If retailers are held hostage, how is it that so many other companies have hardly any issues at all?

If you are a business owner it is your job to CHOOSE your manufacturers, website designers, etc. so that your business thrives.

No one is holding PTI 'hostage" to poor customer service and bitchy responses to customers and purely stupid business decisions.

Anonymous said...

The post copied from SCS mentions ads in the gallery pages. I have not noticed that.

SmackDesk said...

The big ads for Viagra that she's seeing (and no one else is) probably means she has picked up a virus.

And FTR, anyone trying to find the post, it is the "Farewell to PTI" thread, not the "Frustrated with PTI" thread.
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/general-stamping-talk-f17/farewell-pti-t548552.html

Anonymous said...

Oh phooey. Sorry about naming the wrong thread.

I hate to say it but usually ads I get have to do with the kind of searches I'm doing online. I haven't been to the gallery in ages though - it used to be so messed up, I'd never get to what I was looking for.

Anonymous said...

Since when is SCS gallery messed up?

Anonymous said...

I'm the poster from 10:36.

I should have typed more clearly. A post from SCS was pasted here on PTI Smack. That post from SCS mentioned that she was seeing ads on the PTI gallery pages (not the SCS gallery).
Sorry for the confusion.

Anonymous said...

12:11 - THE PTI GALLERY.

Anonymous said...

Sorry for repeating, 10:36/12:30.

I jumped the gun because 12:11 irritated me. I thought it was perfectly clear that the SCS poster and you were talking about the PTI gallery. Otherwise, the comments would've been directed AT SCS.

Some people just don't bother to actually read what's written.

Anonymous said...

12:47 WELLLLLLL EXCUUUUUUSE ME FOR IRRITATING YOU MISSY

Anonymous said...

Group hug, and get back on track! :)

Anonymous said...

You're right. Group hug.

I'm sorry I got irritated, 12:58. It made me smile when you said Missy and I know that it was with a gr-r-r-r. ;0). Deservedly so.

That was out of character for me and I should get a grip.

LOL! Love that this question is posed in the PTI forum:

"pti ever have a month with no releases?"

Are you kidding??? No matter how many times it's suggested, I don't think it will EVER happen.

This person wants a month to "catch up" on wish list purchases, so not the same reasoning I think of about them taking a month off. I think they need it to get their act together, but it'll never happen.

You know the saying, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should" ?

With PTI it's more like "just because you SHOULD, doesn't mean you will."

Anonymous said...

Are you kidding me?! How ever is NH going to pay her huge mortgage on the spanking new custom built house AND finance a fancy new pool if they skip a month!?
Same goes for J & J, I can only imagine what their houses, er, McMansions look like...

Anonymous said...

Wow, people today are... apologizing. For overreacting. On a smack blog. Am I in the twilight zone? LOLOL (Refreshing to see "sorry I got snippy" instead of the usual barrage of vulgar handslappy escalating insults, btw!! Thanks guys!)

Anonymous said...

Y'know. It's Sunday.

WPlus9's prices jumped HUGELY with this release. If you want the berries and the dies it will be $38. If you add the jars it will be $46. Not happy with the huge, huge increase on all their stuff so suddenly. Guess they think they are the next PTI.

Anonymous said...

Well if you believe they are intentionally copying PTI's designs in order to offer an alternative to them, they already DO think they are the next PTI.

And it kind of does look like they are doing that (intentionally offering very similar images in order to be an alternative) to me. But I have to wonder, is that really so bad? All the companies do their own riffs of the popular themes, don't they? Someone got upset in the previous thread about the pocket stamp. Did you forget SU had one years ago? The themes keep going around. Does that make everyone copycats?

And once you find out that the artwork you thought was original (like Rosie Posie) is actually clip art which can be purchased by any company, it adds a whole 'nother element of who is copying whom into the mix. Does it even matter anymore? Pick a company you like and go with them. Joining a mob of angry villagers to scream "copycats!" at the others is starting to seem more and more pointless.

(Of course this only applies to general copying of themes and ideas, not to blatant outright stealing of actual artwork. And I know this subject is a whole crazy mess so I apologize in advance if it gets... *intense* in here because of this.) :-)

Anonymous said...

re the month off thread -- why not just ignore the new releases and buy what you want to get caught up?

Anonymous said...

@17:42 do I detect a hint of jealousy? I think so.

Anonymous said...

00:32. No heat from me here.
I feel that most of it 'has been done' and there is rarely a really really new idea cropping up in stampland.
I dug out a few of my older sets (have been doing this stamping stuff for 25 years+) and I have a beautiful mail set, beautiful flowers. scenery stuff, cute stuff, and so on.
I rarely buy stamps, although I did weaken with the Nordic ones from WMS.
About all I buy now are dies and the tools, glues and such.
I tell myself that I am saving money!!

Anonymous said...

00:32, makes sense to me, too. Just pick the companies you like and go with them.

And I'm pretty sure there are several companies that had the pocket idea long before PTI or W9P. It's not a new idea at all.

I was surprised to find out awhile back that Rosie Posie wasn't original. I agree about variations on a theme, but I had always thought that PTI created original art. That certainly took them down a couple of notches in my book.

Anonymous said...

^^ I agree. I was a little saddened when I found out being a stamp designer actually means "someone who can surf the web and buy premade images to convert into stamps." I always thought illustrators and designers actually illustrated and designed things.

@17:42 do I detect a hint of jealousy? I think so.
--------------------------
Honestly, I couldn't agree with her more, so I must be jealous too?

Anonymous said...

In the graphics world, illustrator and designer are are not the same. You can be both, or one or the other independently.

Anonymous said...

Another boring MIM.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone make good cardstock in very pale colors or DP with very subtle patterns?

Anonymous said...

Yes, 06:26, you are so right.

There are still illustrators who draw original images for stamps.

And there are "designers" who put together sets with licensed or purchased art, and there is a knack to that, too.

But it isn't the same thing.

I commented on Rosie Posie dropping PTI down a notch, but at the same time, I guess I have to admit that they were smart to pick a good image and combine it with other good coordinating images and sentiments.

SmackDesk said...

I still don't get how the flowers coordinate with the hexagons in RP. That one still has me scratching my head. What do I not get about that?

Anonymous said...

Bold graphic. Flowers=bees=honeycomb?

^^ICK! Agree!

Anonymous said...

Ew, yeah, that's really not an attractive shape.

Rosie Posie was modelled after the fabric designer Amy Butler. She combines florals and graphics all the time and her designs are gorgeous.
I for one live Rosie Posie.

Sorry, love, not live.

What is everyone thinking about that Gallery Idol submissions for Round 2 today? I saw some standouts (JJ, Jennifer Rzasa, Aga, Jocelyn) but then Taheerah's dripping paint tubes had me scratching me head. It's not abstract art, isn't it making cards or actual papercrafted projects?

Correct me if I am wrong, didn't Amy(Aimes) do that last year with colored pencils?

Beating A Dead Horse said...

Let me correct myself. I just went and looked at round 2, Aimes incorporated her pencils into a card, NOTHING that looked like Miss T's.

Anonymous said...

07:03----whats your suggestion for a good MIM? I think this one is good and a good sketch is a great help.

Anonymous said...

I liked quite a few of the Round 2 Gallery Idol. I voted for Dana Warren (who I have never heard of)

I also loved Agnieszka and Jennifer Razza.

I did NOT care for Erin Lee and Debbie Marcinkiewicz's card is a HOT mess! I was also disappointed in Laurie Wilson, I usually like her stuff. That card was not up to her standards -bummer, it will lose her in the standings.

Anonymous said...

Im taking a risk her of being slapped about because I didnt read/look or I am just "stupid" but what is Gallery Idol and where do I see it?

Anonymous said...

You can find the links on the PC blog
http://www.papercraftsconnection.com/

It is an annual contest fashioned after American Idol where we vote on our favorite entries.

Having never bought from WPlus9 before, the website says the stamps go on sale June 5 -- does that mean midnight? Do they usually sell out really quick, like PTI used to back in the day, or are there usually things left the next morning? I really want the berry set.

Anonymous said...

WPlus9 goes on sale at midnight. I've purchased the next morning with no problem on a couple of occasions. But that was a while back and her volume may have picked up since then.

Anonymous said...

I loved JJ's card today.

Not sure about the dripping paint, though.

Anonymous said...

I also really liked Elena's girl on fire card ( fancy flourishes rainbow hair)
It was a bit more muted than the other cards, but I "got" it

Anonymous said...

Really liking that MFT license plate idea, but I think I can rip it off with supplies I already have.

Grammar Check said...

Why does Clean and Simple call their dies die cuts? That makes no sense!!

Anonymous said...

Maybe they mean die-cutters, but that is odd too. Aren't they just "dies"?

Anonymous said...

Um....I actually like both of today's sneaks...does
That mean im no longer welcome here ??????!!!??

Anonymous said...

Still welcome as far as I'm concerned, LOL!

Not sure I like the sunshine thing. I liked the farm one but it was tiny. I have a feeling the sentiments will be too schmaltzy for my taste as they usually are with PTI but I'll wait and see.

I LOVE art deco but will never get one of those background building sets. They are too much of a pain to line up. At first glance it reminded me of SU's new international bazaar paper design. And there's a little background from Amuse that it reminds me of too. I wonder if PTI will have anything with it that screams art deco - that would be a game changer.

Anonymous said...

Hey i'm a longtime smacker but I still find things now and then that I really like. So definitely welcome!

Anonymous said...

That new background building set reminds me of the patterns in First Fruits. Pretty similar.

Anonymous said...

I'm really liking the men's and women's t-shirt dies by MFT. I don't think you'd need the sentiments but couldn't you imagine making your own hawaiian print shirts or plaid or whatever with background stamps? Cute. May have to get those.

Don't think I'll hang around for their release party tonight for the men's die and the women's is OOS. Dang.

Anonymous said...

I like the t-shirt dies too.

I will never buy another PTI background that has to be lined up. They always rave about how easy it is and then within days there are threads about frustrated people who bought them. I trusted them on the gingham---so easy! Nope, not easy.

I think the sunshine thing is a fad that will soon pass.

Anonymous said...

That's good to hear that they are hard to line up. Well, it's not good but you know, I'm glad I didn't take the bait. I really wanted that gingham and then read in the forum that it was hard to use. I was thinking of taking the bait with that art deco until I read your kind reminder that they embellish (lie) about ease of use.

Anonymous said...

Really liking the new Gina K stuff being shown today. That beach set is really nice.

Anonymous said...

Those gallery idol cards are fugly! I could have stuck a paint brush up my ass and come up with a better card than little miss T!

Anonymous said...

I really liked a lot of the Gallery Idol cards! I am glad to hear some didn't like Erin Lee's card. She bothers me. I don't think she belongs in Gallery Idol. She is just so Braggy McBragerson, and married to a man with money, just bought a big McMansion, and brags about all her crafty purchases all over facebook everyday! She is all BFF's with Susan Opal, and tagged her in her Gallery Idol audition card, so you can't tell me it was blind judging!

Anonymous said...

I really love Erin Lee's stuff. I like the retro edge it has to it and I love the unique ways she uses color.

Anonymous said...

7:03, I was just coming here to say I really love the Gina set, Hello Sunshine.

Anonymous said...

Gina has really stepped it up. There are 3 sets I am going to buy from this release from her. I only own a couple of her older sets but these caught my attention.

I also really like Erin Lee.

Anonymous said...

Speaking of lining up, who has strawberry patches ? I read on the forum that people were having trouble matching the strawberry outline to the die. If so, is it that the stamp isn't the exact same shape as the die?

Anonymous said...

PTI background stamp lining up didn't work for me either.
However, the WMS backgrounds are really, really, good to line up - also they are bigger and longer. They have a nice gingham background too.
Nope I am not from WMS - just a fan.

Anonymous said...

I dont have any of the old PTI backgrounds, but the medallion one is easy to line up. I have also found the checker bg from the farm set really easy to line up - i think since they changed them, they are easier to line up. but agree- i have the WMS chicken wire and it was easy - but i think the pattern has alot to do with that...

Saw this on the Smack Center. I also have been following the last couple of days the Angela Holt bully victim story. It sickens me:

Anonymous said...

Going back to Angela Holt. Iwona Palamountain (for you SC gals, Iwona is a well known card maker) has really taken on Angela's cause.

At this time Angela has deleted her blog, but this was found in the Google ache: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache%3AeBGz1rMMLscJ%3Awww.angelaholtdesigns.com%2Fp%2Fhate-mail-and-posts-that-i-get.html+&cd=20&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

This is hands down the most vile awful online bullying that I have ever seen and it is only a SLIVER of what Angela endured. I like me a good smack or two, but this goes way beyond anything I have seen here or on the PTI smack blog.

If any of you are FB friends with these women please unfriend them:
Sherry Moss
Christine Sawvell
Mai Larsen
Darlene Cruz-Morales (especially this vile person)
Chai Evans Dickerman
Patricia Greco
Mgt Ann Moffat

Anonymous said...

^^^^^Horrible! Why such hatred for Angela?

Anonymous said...

I have a gingham background from Market Street Stamps....its simply a breeze to use, love it!

Anonymous said...

whoa what is happening over there? I'm trying to read but really confused. Can you get us caught up a little bit?

Anonymous said...

I don't know much, only what I have read on FB and her blog. I didn't know her at first, I had to Google her.

It seems that she had online classes teaching various papercrafts and was doing this for some time. I am guessing these bullies didn't like her for some reason and started attacking her and taking her clients. One of the bullies is a CTMH rep. Anyway, it got so bad it was affecting her health. She eventually posted a "the bullies win" post and then disappeared. Pretty awful. If you are FB friends with Iwona, you can see all the discussions about this.

Here is the Google cache for the Bullies Win post:

I copied this from The Smack Center, but it is copied from Angela Holt's facebook:
----This is a FORMAL STATEMENT!!!!
Due to the constant bullying, bullshit, these dumbass desperate soulless pathetic women that have found it upon themselves to treat me like a piece of shit, well you won!!! I have been fighting this shit for 3 months and in that time, my stress levels have went through the roof. I have been bullied in ways that no one should ever been done. I have had pictures of m...e scattered all over this dam internet in the most vicious and vulgar ways, I have had all my sponsors and accounts bashed, I have had countless emails, posts, hate mail, texts, phone calls and whatever else they choose to do to hurt me. I have had my accounts hacked and deleted. I have had every possible thing done to me I think that can be done to a person online.
I’m done. I have lost sleep, blood pressure is through the roof, I have become bitchy towards my family, I have had countless anxiety attacks and more.
All I ever want to do is create and share my talents. But that now is in Jeopardy!! I have been told that the police have been contacted about me, I have been reported to facebook 10,000 dam times, my work and pictures have been slandered for copy right infringement and more!! I’m Done!!!
These are the following steps I will be taking in the next week:
1. On Friday June 6th my facebook account will be shut down.
2. My Livestream account had been requested to be shut down and I will no longer record live shows.
3. I will be sending out all orders that have been ordered, you can contact me at thealteredpage@yahoo.com for further info.
4. I will be shutting down my youtbe channel as of TODAY!!
5. I will be shutting down my twitter as of TODAY!!
6. I will be shutting down my Fan Page as of TODAY!!!
7. I will no longer teach classes online.
8. If you want to follow my work, you will have to do so through my blog at www.angelaholtdesigns.com
9. My store will be closed as of TODAY!!!
These sick demented women have destroyed in 3 months that took me 13 years to build. This society we live in has allowed this to happen. I have done everything next to going to each state and reporting to their local police departments to get them to STOP and still they continue to keep doing this shit over and over again.
I’m mentally and physically sick. I have been called fat, a bitch, a slut, a dumb ass, I have been accused of being all these people, I have been defaced, framed, hated, told I was not talented, cheap, a fraud, stupid, I should die, I should eat myself into a diabetic coma, that I should kill myself, that I’m a hacker and finally a criminal.
I don’t know how anyone can follow people and believe their lies that do this to people. I don’t understand why people can’t hear the words of a victim and heed their warnings and believe this shit. How in the hell can you follow women that do this? How would even question it? Why would you allow it?
I’m DONE!!!!! THEY WIN!!!

My GOD! That post by Angela left me sad and angry. And it was very well written. Take the time to read it completely through. And seeing those altered images and what those bullies posted about her. Sickening

To some of you who think this blog is part of cyber bullying, I disagree. What happened to Angela is a classic example of cyber bullying. Here we smack customer service, the size of leaf to berry ratio and the occasional crappy card by a DT member.

There is a big difference.

Anonymous said...

That is very sad that they have done this to her. I wish I knew more about it. Why would a group of women torment another woman so badly?

Anonymous said...

WOW! I just checked out those names and I am not friends with any of the bullies. But, some allow non-friends to view their page and they are pretty nasty in general.

10:18, I just don't know. Why do any group of people torment anyone? My daughter is being bullied by the neighborhood girls and it's devastating.

Anonymous said...

I don't believe Angela. I'm smelling shades of Faith from Mark's Finest Papers with her.

Remember how she was all over the place claiming that "bullies" made her shut her business down and when the truth came out it turned out that she had been stealing designs all along?

Anonymous said...

I'm 10:06. I was skeptical at first too and tt immediately reminded me of Faith as well (which I had personal experience with Faith and more likely SHE was the bully). BUT after I saw that cached post showing what those girls actually said and posted about Angela, I believe her.

One major difference, Faith never came out and showed proof of the bullies and what was said and done. Angela did. It's just too bad she deleted everything. Now we only have that 1 cached post to see.

Anonymous said...

^^sorry, that came out wrong. I didn't mean to infer that Faith was a bully to Angela. I meant that Faith was doing a whole lotta bullying of her own during her fiasco.

Anonymous said...

10:34, sorry to hear your daughter is being bullied. I can't imagine how I would handle it. I know your heart breaks for her.

It reminds me of when you see those videos where dads jump on the football field to body slam the kid who just clothes-lined his son and as much as I might think "that dad is a dirty bastard for beating up that kid like that!" I think something in us parents snaps when we see our kid getting hurt. I'm not saying I would beat up another child, I'm just saying (now that I"m a parent myself) I understand.

Anonymous said...

all that angela holt cyber bullying crap makes me so glad I'm a spectator and not a blog owner. It could happen to anyone.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know what started the cyber bullying towards Angela? I find it hard to believe that a group of women just decided to gang up on her one day because she had funny looking hair or something. (I'm not saying she did, just using a silly example of how bullying can start).
I was bullied as a pre-teen and it was devastating. It traumatized me for life, although I hope that after 30+ years I have risen above it somewhat. So I know what it is like and how it can ravage someone's life.

Anonymous said...

I think Angela Holt is the one who is bringing that information about her "bullying" here, and I also have heard rumblings that Angela Holt isn't exactly the victim she wants us to think she is.

Like I said: this feels like a replay of the drama with Faith from Mark's Finest Paper.

Anonymous said...

16:10 until you have seen proof on the Internet or where ever instead of "I heard rumblings", you should just STFU!!!
It sounds like you know f*uck all

Anonymous said...

^^Hi, Angela!

Anonymous said...

16:10 - I am 10:06 the one who brought this up. I am not Angela. You can take it or leave it.

I don't know what "rumblings" you have heard, please share. Cause what I have read and seen with my own eyes she indeed was bullied.

Did you even read or looked at the cached pages I linked?

Here they are again. Here is where she posts pictures of some of the awful things people did and said to her:

And here is her Bullies Win post. This post goes into some detail of what happened. It seems that there were some disgruntled customers over the years. As well as some ladies who stole her ideas/slightly altered them and when she confronted them, things got nasty.

I have been also a victim of cyber bullying that started at SCS and they eventually got ME banned for calling them on it. They then followed me to other sites I had recommended on previous posts and kept it up. I don't remember all their names but one was a Jan Tinklerberg and a Shannon Teubner. They were ruthless because I mentioned several times how much I disliked the sagging SU pads. They posted on my blog and were really mean and got hold of my email, which I had to have changed. Then they claimed other people were me on other sites. It was really bad and at one point Julie Ebersole defended me.

Anonymous said...

The whole thing makes me kinda queasy. If Angela is being bullied to that extent thats awful. If Angela is bullying and pretending to be a victim thats is awful too. Something led her to either situation.

I hope she finds some peace

Anonymous said...

I believe you're not Angela Holt about as much as I believe that she's innocent in all this. My opinion is that this is all b.s. drummed up by Angela to cover for bad business practices.

It seems like she's trying to pin this all on just one disgruntled customer. Loyal customers don't turn on you on the word of one big meanie. You've seen how rabidly PTI's unicorns defend them. If Angela had as big of a following as she wants us to believe she did, and if she was truly bullied, why didn't any of them take up for her?

Also, you claimed that Iwona Palamountain was so moved by Angela's "plight" that she's "taken up for her".

That's funny, because Iwona's blog has NOTHING at all about poor Angela anywhere on it.

I don't buy it. You're welcome to buy her "woe is me" tale (assuming, of course, that you are not her), and I'm welcome not to.

See how that works?

Anonymous said...

16:42, I should have recopied my 10:06 post so you wouldn't have to scroll up. I said it was on Iwona's FB page. She has been posting about this for days with many stampers chiming in about this.

Anonymous said...

16:41 (1), this is awful! And it all started over a sagging SU ink pad? Crazy! I am shocked to see Shannan Tuebner's name mentioned. I followed her for years as she was on the Verve DT.

See ladies, things like this CAN and DO start over 1 or 2 really minor things. I don't know Angela's story, but I don't doubt stuff like this could have been set off by something as trivial as botched up customer service.

You know, I am doing more research on the names that were shown to be Angela's bullies and found something interesting. Christine Sawvell has a page on her blog that goes into some detail with photos alleging SHE was bullied by Angela.

This gets more and more complicated! Here is Christine's blog: http://becauseeverypicturehasastorytotell.blogspot.com/

How could Gina do that? PTI claims it takes too long to train people and that you can't just hire people for a few days out of the month. Gina must be a magician!

Anonymous said...

Just read that page on Christine Sawvells blog. Wow.

And I cannot believe that about Janine tinkleburg ad Shannan.
But just look at Cheryl coming here and it should tell us about how easily people can become rabid......

Anonymous said...

Did a search for Iwona's FB page -- no results under her name. Is she on FB under another name?

Anonymous said...

It is under Iwona Palamountain

Anonymous said...

17:02 --Looks like C. Sawvell removed her post showing proof of her being bullied.

Anonymous said...

18:56 -- thanks. Found it. Not much there except some posts and photos of her cards.

Anonymous said...

Really 19:05? On her FB page I see 2 posts on Sunday, 1 yesterday and 1 that says 19 hours ago. All about Angela.

Damn if Christina Sawvell didn't remove that page. Weird for her to do. Very suspicious.

Anonymous said...

19:29 -- I must be missing something. I see the last post as May 24th - a photo of a card she colored with copics, on her FB wall. I am not a subscriber or a friend. Maybe that's what I am missing. Anyway, I too think it's weird for someone who has taken a stand to defend herself from cyberbullying and post proof of such, to then delete it suddenly. . . makes you wanna go hmmmmm.....

Anonymous said...

She sure went to a HUGE amount of work to make a case and then to delete it is at the least quite suspicious. I wonder if she worried about being "caught".

Anonymous said...

20:02, it must be because you are not a friend. Here is a couple:

Iwona Palamountain
I can't believe what I witnessed in the last couple of days. A fellow crafter, a girl that I was a FB friend with, was physically destroyed by online bullying from a bunch of other paper crafters, and was driven to disappear from the internet almost completely. You won't find her on FB any more, she closed her business, and suffers from emotional breakdown. The group of haters are still around, even after being reported. I barely knew that girl, to be honest, but what I read shook me badly.

and here is another:

Iwona Palamountain
To all my FB friends, please take time to read this. We need to know, and stand up for her so that it never happens again. See my previous post for a briefing of how I came across this sad story.

To the last poster. Your link does not work.

Whoa, my SU demo just gave me a coupon for 35% off everything in the new catalog if I order by Saturday!

20:09 -- Thanks for sharing what I couldn't see.

Anonymous said...

Just browsed Gina's new stamps and still didn't liked a thing.

Shannan Teubner said...

For the record, I am not a bully. I was bullied at one point by a woman on SCS, and I do know who she is, though she got banned several times for creating new accounts. And that was back in 2007-2008 sometime, who knows. All I'm saying is, believe it if you want, but there are plenty of people who have spent time with me and know that I don't have the energy to fight over an ink pad. Seriously.

InkStink said...

Someone please tell me how "You make me happy when skies are grey" is "truly unique".

Anonymous said...

If you look back at every countdown post since PTI's birth, every new stamp set is AMAZING, TRULY UNIQUE, and VERSATILE. Someone give NH a thesaurus!

JanTink said...

Shannon is right. We both were bullied by the same person on SCS. This person went to my blog and made "anonymous" posts that were quite nasty. She was banned numerous times for having multiple accounts on SCS. Jen Balcer was very well aware of who she was and the people there got quite good at figuring out her new IDs. You can ask Jen, she'll tell you about the SCS troll.

I never posted on this person's blog, not even once and can't be blamed for negative attention that this person attracted by her own efforts. Considering this was over 5 years ago, it's just sad to me that she keeps a grudge that long. For me, all that was forgiven long ago. Life is too short and stamping is too fun.

16:30. Shows how little minded you are. You are just stirring shit up here and at the smack center with your retarded comment about " smells like faith at marks blah blah blah". You had to post that exact comment 10 times on different posts and different sites? WHY? Yeah I'm calling you out ! AND I'm not Angela! Just calling idiots as I'm seeing it.

Anonymous said...

^^^unless that's Angela herself stirring up her own shit! There are a lot of crazy women out there in blogland.

Anonymous said...

Take all this "bullying" crap to the smack center! GO AWAY!

Anonymous said...

Geez 8:52 lighten up.

Anonymous said...

PTI sneaks are boring again.

Not only is that sentiment NOT "unique," the combination of fonts and placement of the graphic flourish are not at all appealing. I think it's quite poorly designed actually.

Some people will buy the hyperbole every time. PTI is running on their ability to create enthusiasm from thin air.

Anonymous said...

So you think that whole set will be lyrics lifted from classic old songs? I love classic old songs. I won't pay PTI for the lyrics though.

Anonymous said...

Has anyone had a chance to try the new SU ink pads?

Beating A Dead Horse said...

Can someone tell me what the paper is like at GinaK's?

Sibilance7 said...

I'm actually in love with the peeks this week. I love the art deco background (although I agree that those things are a PITA to line up), and I really love the hexagons today. I'm not buying any of it unless I get it used somewhere down the line, but I have to say that I think these peeks are much better than what we've been getting the past few months.

Anonymous said...

Anyone have a link to Gina K saying she is backed up on shipping and hired 2 people. I don't see that on her blog.

Anonymous said...

It makes you wonder when someone is friends with someone on FB, and someone else isn't. But the person who is will publicly share what she has read there only because she is a FB friend of that person.

Do you people realize that if some information is "public" and some information is "friends only," then you are violating that person's trust in you by copying & pasting their "friends only" information across the internet?

It demonstrates a complete lack of scruples. And the fact that sometimes people don't choose their FB friends very wisely.

Anonymous said...

BTW, I am not interested nor involved in any of the bullying or alleged bullying being discussed. It was just that when people realized they weren't seeing the same things and then the "friend" posted FB information here, that I could barely believe what I was seeing.

Anonymous said...

Good point 10:33, I see people do that all the time here and on the Smack Center.

Anonymous said...

OMG, 8:22!

You are so brave and such an internet super sleuth.

I never thought ANYONE would read my comment at the Smack Center. I never thought ANYONE would click on the PTI Smack link at the Smack Center.

You figured me out, Columbo.

I posted in BOTH places because you (who are allegedly NOT Angela) did, too.

And now I'm calling YOU out for posting the same tired shit in different places! See how brave and awesome I am?

Anyway, take your pretend bullying bullshit elsewhere, please. Most people do not believe you, and YES. You remind more than one person of Faith from Mark's Finest Papers.

In my opinion, something is fishy about this shit, and I'm not the only one. A few of my paper crafting friends and I find it odd.

But, Ang: seriously, you seem a bit hostile and unbalanced. Maybe THAT'S what got you into hot water in the first place. :)

Anonymous said...

To the girl who got a 35% off coupon from your SU demo - sounds like your demo is gunning to earn the SU trip. I'm pretty sure the deadline for your sales totals is June 30, so around this time all the demos start offering big sales to their customers. They will take a hit on their profits in order to earn the big cruise/trip/whatever. I think this year it's Fiji?

About the SU pads - I tried them at my neighbor's house the other day. I was actually really impressed with them. The coverage was really great and the ink seemed to dry pretty fast. I already have the old pads though and there's no way I'm spending money to replace them.

Anonymous said...

Not a SU fan after what they initiated a few years ago with their new demo agreement. ran into some really horrible, bully demos on SCS who think the owner of SU is a goddess. the demos were ruthless to anyone who voiced a negative about SU. I was appalled by some people whose blogs I had followed, SU reps that I had looked to for inspiration. because of all that happened, I left SU and SCS and moved on to PTI. Now, I see some of the same shit stirrers here.

Anonymous said...

Thanks 12:58. I'm not going to replace my existing pads either but I think the new in colours are the new pads and I'll probably end up getting those.

Anonymous said...

11:27 bitch please. A lot of people read both places. It doesn't take Colombo to figure that out. You have no flipping prove of f*ck all. Yet you need to post and repost not once but three times the same bs. Again I ask why? Cause something is fishy? I think it's your cooch that you are smelling!

Anonymous said...

I posted the exact same thing in two different places, sunshine :)

And I did it for the same reason that you are posting your bullshit all over the internet: BECAUSE I CAN.

And, if you're not Angela Holt, you sure aren't helping her cause. I'd hate it if someone as foul-mouthed and crazy sound as you took up for my cause.

You have no proof that Angela was bullied, either. Just a couple of screenshots that Angela claims came from other people. Except that Angela pulled all this "proof" down, so who knows the truth?

Anyway, keep it up, crazy. You make Angela look worse by the post.

xoxoxoxo

Anonymous said...

Oh, and 15:19: you might want to quit frothing for long enough to check your sarcasm meter. I think it might be broken :)

I'm sad I don't know who you are. You sound like so much fun to be around....

Anonymous said...

^^^ keep defending yourself cause everyone can see you are trying way too hard. You are the one that looks like those alleged bullies. Reposting over and over again because no one is responding to it. And how do I make Angela look worse when I'm only calling you and your posts out? You are the only one posting crap about her, calling her hostile and unbalanced (in post 11:27) on a smack blog. Excuse me but you sound like the bully now.

Anonymous said...

^^^I'm confused on what posts you think 15:28 even wrote. There have been lots these last few days and I have written a few myself. Just move on already. There is no crime in posting on both boards. There are a lot of people who don't read both.

I just find it puzzling that Christine Sawvell deleted her post which proved SHE was indeed bullied by Angela. I was even gonna tell poor Iwona about it since she posted again this morning in defense of Angela.

Anonymous said...

You make yourself look sillier and more hypocritical by the post, dearie.

You called me a bitch and said my coochie smells :( I think YOU bullied ME.

smooches!

Anonymous said...

One more thing....

How is it that you think you have the right to post unfounded allegations in several places on the internet, but no one has the right to call you on that?

You named specific people with absolutely NO proof that they did anything to Angela, and you decided to post that information in several different places.

I find it interesting that Angela went to such great lengths to detail the "proof" of her bullying, only to pull her stuff down a few hours later.

And I saw that "proof". I think the thing about posting under different names all over the internet was sarcasm. As in, that person had dealt with Angela's crazy long enough to know the accusations she was making.

You're not helping Angela's case. Even if you aren't her.

Anonymous said...

I have to chuckle at Jan and Shannon as they obvious bullied more than one person, because what they posted is not what happened, nor the correct time period for what happened to my friend, who posted here about them. I know for a fact because I saw what they did to her blog, which she later shut down completely and got rid of both Jan and Shannon on FB.

Anonymous said...

Amazing how many "notables" from SCS read this smack blog. Just amazing *wink*

Anonymous said...

Can we get back to the PTI smack. You bullying bitches ran us off the smack center blog because there was too much PTI. Get off this blog and go back to you fucking blog! Nobody gives a rats ass about angela or any of those other people listed.

16:09 - IA!

Is there any updates on the delayed Stamp-a-fuck fiasco in the making?

Anonymous said...

Ladies, pull your panties out of your cracks. Either quit the bitching back and forth or take it outside.....

Anonymous said...

Doesn't SU have a place where you pot stirrers can go.? If not, just go crawl under a rock.

Anonymous said...

Those SU ladies need to go back to SCS. SU is such a dishonest company and those who work from them are willing to play the game. Makes me not trust a one of them. Also, if you want to know someone's rep, go to SCS and read their posts and you will see how they have treated people over the years. It won't be hard to see the bully coming through. Makes it clear who to believe

Anonymous said...

SCS is such a boring place these days. All the old has-beens hang out there patting themselves on the back.

Anonymous said...

Transparent much, Jan? You said someone posted anon on your blog but you know who posted anon? NOT!

Anonymous said...

8:00 why would someone hold a grudge if you didn't do anything to her? busted!

Anonymous said...

Why is it that PTI offers no publication incentive? It seems to me it would be good business practice to reward loyal customers who use PTI stamps to get published.

Anonymous said...

Liking PTI's angel policy! If only other companies were so generous.

Anonymous said...

I always felt like I was going to a car dealership at SU events. "What do I have to do to get you to buy this stamp set(s) today?" Or a military recruiter "Be all that you can be - be a demo" ...

Anonymous said...

I am actually surprised that PTI's angel policy is so clear and concise. I would have expected a lot of mumble jumble and double speak. Lol!

Anonymous said...

I also do not care who bullied who. You are not people that I am concerned with.

Anonymous said...

Don't you mean "whom"?

Anonymous said...

PTI are cheap. That's why no publication incentive. Most companies at least offer a free stamp set, they could at least do that.

And where the hell are you all finding the Angel Policy? I have searched all over that miserable new site and can't find it.

Anonymous said...

I guess I would mean whom if I was the least bit concerned with proper grammar. :-p

Anonymous said...

Paying people for publication would turn into a huge problem for pti. They just don't have the manpower to keep track of something like that and customer service would quickly get overloaded.
PLUS, they don't have to. People use the stamps without incentive.

Anonymous said...

The angel policy isn't posted on the new site yet. It was a question that was asked on the message board.

Anonymous said...

Ha! Cause WHY would they list their "so clear and concise" Angel Policy were someone could actually find it! Typical PTI.

Anonymous said...

I agree that SCS has gotten very boring lately, so has the PTI forum, so where else do you all go?

Anonymous said...

^^^^^ Here!

Anonymous said...

This morning I check my emails and I have a In Stock email from PTI that the flip flop dies are in. I went to the website accessed my cart and voila everything worked extremely well. I do think there are some positive things happening operationally at PTI.

Anonymous said...

yeesh I think this blog pretty much sucks now.

Anonymous said...

^^^^ then get the hell out

Isn't it a bit late to be releasing patriotic stamps in June. The idea sounds OK but how many people will receive their packages in time.

Anonymous said...

So create some drama 0332. Dont depend on others

Anonymous said...

Do people really send July 4 cards? I always wonder why they do a patriotic set every year.

Anonymous said...

I don't think I have ever seen a July 4 card in a store.

I had never seen Stamps of Life. I love them!!! That hexagon set is going to be mine! I love the sea turtle and the chevrons too and the kite set is wonderful! Only $1 per set for shipping! Finally someone with reasonable shipping.

The SOL hexagons are adorable!!

I don't like the Stamps of Life hex set either.

Just so you all know, I followed Angela Holt for quite a while, thought she was awesome unti I started to notice that stuff she claimed were her own doing was NOT hers but blatently copied. Trying to pass of a Kelly Rae Roberts image as her own when she printed from Kellys website and with minimal photoshop passed off as her own, when called out about it she ignored this, thus losing a follower. She is also currently under investigation for online criminal activity against another member of the online community. The stuff she is saying they have put online about her was put up by Angela Holt herself. FACT. ANGELA HOLT is not a victim but a down and out FRAUD, LIAR AND BULLY and does not deserve your sympathy at all.
I am not one of those mentioned, just someone who is saddened by this disgusting behaviour.

Anonymous said...

Amen! It is obvious to see that Angela Holt has fooled a lot of people for a little while anyway, but it looks like SHE is the real bully.

I do however admit I feel sorry for the woman. Anyone who would go to these lengths and has problems with this many people obviously has mental issues and needs help. This however does not excuse her horrible behavior.

Anonymous said...

When there is one common denominator in an equation it does not take a mathematician to figure out the equation.

Anonymous said...

I think Angela Holt must be related to Forrest Gump!

Anonymous said...

Or Sybil! Get the crazy bitch on some meds alfeady
