to 4:18 who is worried about posts being dissected here. I have a simple solution for you. Don't read here. See? Problem solved.

Are there any Fresh Ink colors you wish you would not have purchased? I have 3/4 of them and not sure about the others. Do you use all of them?

Major Unity Sale but it only lasts for 45 more minutes!

0654. True no one needs to come here but if you make an innocent comment on another blog your name shouldnt be bloodied on smack blog.

Don't worry, this blog will ramp up when PTI fucks up again. It will happen sooner than later.

I think someone is trying too hard to "to give credit where credit is due" @@

What Julie did was NOT great customer service. Customer asked to delete ONE item. Julie said ok WHOLE order deleted. How is Julie getting better at CS???

Anonymous said...

Totally agree with 9:16. If a huge company like Amazon could delete an item, so can she. It may take an extra minute or two of work on her end, but there is no way it is NOT possible. Ridiculous.

Now the customer has to try to muddle her way through their site, making sure to find everything she previously ordered and still wants; hoping the whole time it is not out-of-stock now.

Anonymous said...

oh must i spell out everything for you?

1. in the past julie wouldn't have responded at all. Jennifer would. Since Jennifer had no power, she would send an email to Julie. Julie would ignore them or get confused and let them pile up.

2. Jennifer would remind Julie, 2, 3, and 4 times.

3. Then Julie would tell the customer, sorry, you cannot change an order after it is placed.

4. So, in PTI land, things have improved.

and sorry i'll still come here even though i think you are mean for calling out forum posters. why? because I refuse to let you dominate this smack board with your petty meanness.

HTH!!!

Anonymous said...

PTI seems to take one step forward and then two steps back. Why is it that so many customers have NO CLUE where their orders are? These are customers that ordered as soon as the release went live. People who ordered days after release night have received their orders already. How is THAT an improvement?

Anonymous said...

12:53.

Your condescending attitude,I think, is not winning anyone over. PLUS ordering us, on a smack board, to stop with the mean pettiness?!?! I'm not sure who you think you are? An employee? Owner, DT member? Because you are trying way to hard in telling us what not to do and what to think!!

Anonymous said...

While it may be an improvement, I don't understand why Julie couldn't have given the op a choice.

I ordered a defective sunrise ip and after quite a runaround about whether or not it was actually defective, she mailed out a new one without communicating anything to me. I would have preferred a refund as is stated in the policy. When the second ip came and it also appears to be defective (although not "really" defective, lol), I have given up.

Yes, it is some improvement but still not 100%.

I do agree that Julie is really trying not to come across as snarky.

Anonymous said...

don't care that you don't like my attitude. i have sat back for months and watch you poke fun, insult, and in some cases harass people.

i intend to stay here and speak my piece. if you don't like it, you don't have to come here. right?

I ordered from WPlus9 on Wednesday and it came today. :)

I can't think of any Fresh Inks that I regret ordering. I just found out that Capri Blue is a perfect match for Blueberry Sky. Also love Pear, Basil, Merlot (Scarlet Jewel), Chamomille, Cocoa.

Anonymous said...

Anyone else think it's weird DF started a post to tell about her publication? She's on PTI DT, should she really be fishing for compliments? I'd *expect* her to get published.

Anonymous said...

Who is D.F.?

Anonymous said...

Just sent a wad of money to Impress and will own all the inks and a few more stamps as well as all reinkers to complete the collection I started a year ago.

Anonymous said...

dawns cards are shit. stoopid stoopid colours.

Anonymous said...

Just placed an Impress reinker order. Thanks for the reminder about the coupon, Smacker3.

Fresh Ink Limeade is a great match for PTI's Limeade Ice. Yes, I did order with the last release. I needed cardstock for a card order. I love big boxes of heavy cardstock shipped free to me.

And I have to say, despite the f'd up website on release night, my order was received mid week.

Anonymous said...

9:16 If the customer was happy what does it matter that she deleted the entire order. Julie is damned if she does and damned if she doesn't.

Anonymous said...

22:01 "stoopid" really???? LOL

Anonymous said...

6:41 No, Julie is paying the price for being an uber-bitch. May suck for her, but I don't feel an ounce of sympathy for her.

Anonymous said...

Well it is hard to be humble when you are perfect in everyway isnt it?

Anonymous said...

9:16 If the customer was happy what does it matter that she deleted the entire order. Julie is damned if she does and damned if she doesn't.

The customer was NOT happy. She would rather have the choice about the whole order being deleted. It's better than it used to be but still not ideal.

Anonymous said...

Stoopid and jalous, (I can't think of the others right now) are acceptable spellings on the smack blog. I believe they both originate from 2Peas.

Anonymous said...

Moran is another cyberworld word that has evolved. Stoopid is common in cyberspace and on earth in general :)

Anonymous said...

Got my Gina K order. Ocean Mist is almost identical to SU's Carribean Blue that was so popular. The Bubblegum is pretty close to SU's Pretty in Pink. The Cherry Red is a tiny bit more blue that Pure Poppy from PTI, but not as dark as SU's Cherry Cobbler. The Lemondrop is about halfway between PTI Harvest and PTI Lemon, but has a tiny bit less orange to them than either of the PTI colors. The cardstock is good quality, creases well when you score it and is imo, equal in thickeness to PTI cardstock.

Anonymous said...

Thank you for your Gina K color comparisons.
I have ordered her cardstock before and I was very happy with it. Now with the new drop down menu, I will be placing another order!

Anonymous said...

0848 you gave me a chuckle!

makes cents to me that a smack blog would have no standards when it comes to spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

and morality, honesty, kindness, or anything else worth preserving.

Anonymous said...

^^^ Sad but true. This world seems to be lacking morality, kindness and honesty more and more these days.

Anonymous said...

only if you let it. let's take over this stinking blog. stick to honest commentary on real customer service problems, not random, misspelled, mean comments on the quality of someone's toes or color combinations.

just keep posting until the mean girls run away...

Anonymous said...

and yet, 11:14, 13:04, and 13:29 you are still here in this cesspool that you describe. Happily swimming around in the shit with the "mean girls". What does that say about you?

Anonymous said...

13:29 I'm in.

Anonymous said...

8:15 I am the customer and when i reodered on PTI website an item i had bought was now out of stock. I know you were defending me I'm just saying that yes I would've like to of had the option to keep the order if I wanted.Julie did a prompt refund but still can't figure out why she couldn't remove an item from my order.

Anonymous said...

13:47 I read here but I'm not swimming with you. I don't go along with the crowd who is hell bent on hurting this company and it's owners by the crap you post. Granted there have been problems, but personally ridiculing the owners,DT and some forum members is reprehensible. To be mean or not to be mean. It's a choice people. Making the right choice makes the world a better place. one.person.at.a time.

Anonymous said...

Oh bullshit. You love being here & feeling oh so self-righteous about how much better you think you are. Don't kid yourself.

Anonymous said...

I first want to say that I do agree that Julie should have givin the customer the option of having the entire order cancelled or not.

But I believe that it is not possible for Julie to change an order after it has been placed. There is an entire process that is done from the buyer selecting their items to it be assigned an order number etc all within the order software. Its not a manual process at all. She probably doesnt have the capability and honestly why would anyone want her to be able to do that? If the orders and labels are printed and distributed to the order pullers it would be a nightmare to change the order. Any manual process increases the potential for errors. (well actually software sucks at it too sometimes)
Also, correct me if I am wrong but hasnt it been said that Julie is not near the warehouse where the orders are filled? If that is true then for her to go and change the order herself is not possible either.
And to add - if she made the change for one person I would hope she would do it for all.
We all will just have to chalk this up to another lesson learned.

Anonymous said...

14:51 No, you are wrong about that. Hey, if it makes you happier to be mean then go for it but don't bitch when it comes back to bite you.

Anonymous said...

I wonder if the delays in orders has anything to do with the stamp manufacturer problem that was discussed a few weeks ago. Perhaps they dont have all their inventory for this release.

Anonymous said...

PTI doesn't use that manufacturer so it's not the problem.

the person from the PTI forums said:
" don't care that you don't like my attitude. i have sat back for months and watch you poke fun, insult, and in some cases harass people.

i intend to stay here and speak my piece. if you don't like it, you don't have to come here. right?
22 September 2012 17:07 "

If you intend to stay here then plan on putting up with it. If you don't like it, leave. Yes, you can stay here and say what you want. We can ignore you from this point forward - no problem.

What I don't get is why you want to be here anyway? I don't understand why PTI fans/customers would come to the smack blog.

And whoever (same person) said 'just stick to customer service issues' - PTI gave you zendesk for that.

16:53 I can ask you the same question. If you hate PTI why do you go to their forum? When you outright smacked them on their own forum we didn't want you around either. Deal with it.

Anonymous said...

^^^ by "you" I mean smackers.

Anonymous said...

Defend pti all you want, it's a crap company and that is a fact.

Anonymous said...

I for one wouldn't be here if it was ALL CRAP. I for one want to see the CS improve, because I LOVE the stamps and products. Why would anyone come here just to hate on them? I just don't get it.

Anonymous said...

I am in on the "let the nice people band together" idea...

Anonymous said...

16:19- but I remember releases way back, when the website was still messed up, and people were having trouble ordering and PTI was able to add items to people's orders. Deleting an item should be as easy as adding one.

Anonymous said...

I am not sure about the product delays = shipping delays 16:29. I order on release day. My orders have been consistently labeled around the 18th or 19th and arrive at the end of the month.
As much as I would love it be sent/shipped and delivered earlier, it's just not happening. So I patiently wait for my goodies and by the time I open the box and do all the oohing and aaahing, sneak peaks (on the 5th) for the next release is just literally a few days away. Lol!
Unless, they have product delays every month and I just happen to order the delayed product monthly. :(

Anonymous said...

23:21 maybe that was a temporary thing and because of the web site glitch, they accommodated the requests.
Since 14:10 ordered okay and just wanted to delete an item from her order. I mean, she ordered and changed her mind about one item. That's different from being "your order got screwed by the website". Their policy of no changing orders kicked in.

It would have been perfect if CS just did as we all would have wanted them to do, cancel the one item. Instead they did something they haven't done before (to my knowledge) which is cancel the entire order giving her a clean slate of ordering what she really needs/wants. I don't recall that we could cancel our orders before unless it was a paypal glitch of a double order. That's how I see it anyway.

I reall think they are trying to change but a 100% outright change is impossible. They can do it, the question is do they WANT to change 100%.

Anonymous said...

I placed a large CS order with Gina K yesterday. It was a good way to thank her for listening to customers and changing the website to make ordering CS easier. Her stamp style is still not mine so I continue to look elsewhere.

October should bring a release from WPlus9. And I'm interested in seeing what Avery Elle will come up with this time.

There are many more choices than PTI but, damn, I love matching dies!

Anonymous said...

I'm also in on taking over this blog, and at least providing a common sense, stick to the facts and quit bashing individuals discussion of PTI.

Anonymous said...

5:35 thank you!

Anonymous said...

oops. I meant 5:34 in the previous post.

Anonymous said...

20:56 If it's a crap company then it's a very popular crap company. One you've ordered from, I'm sure, or you would not be here smacking them. If the love affair is over move on. The way I see it, if you smack you still care or you would have let if go a long time ago.

Anonymous said...

To the self-proclaimed morality police - your point may be better taken if you didn't come here and announce that you were better than the "smackers" and that you refuse to let this place become all trash talk.

I have news for you, there are only a few people that spew venom here. A good number of us have never smacked the dt or called people names. We quietly try to keep to the subject without announcing how wonderful we are.

For all we know, you are one person replying to all of your own posts to band together and do good. If you are as moral as you claim to be you shouldn't have to announce it.

Anonymous said...

7:55 I'm not the only uni on here. No one said we are better than smackers. Just a plea to those who spew venom to stop the personal bashing. That's all.

Anonymous said...

There is more than one - and I agree 0811. lets stick to topic

Anonymous said...

I agree with keeping on track but I also wonder why uni had to announce that he/she was "taking over the blog".

Anonymous said...

A useful MIM. Thanks to Betsy.

Anonymous said...

I hope that the people that ordered right after release get an answer about why there is no update on their packages.

Also, to the poster that had her order cancelled only to find out that one of the items that she wanted is now OOS, I'm sorry to hear about your experience.

I don't go to the PTI forum. Don't smack them there or even lurk there.

Anonymous said...

How many of us smackers go to the forum these days just to stir up trouble (as is implied)?
I don't.I never did. However I rarely post anymore but that is because it is just too fake for my liking.

Anonymous said...

I am going to share my opinion of the "why I love PTI" thread here because I am obviously not going to state my true feelings on the PTI forum.

The reason that people have opinions on SCS is because they can. If they shared the same opinions on the forum they would be deleted or pruned. Nothing but happiness and sunshine allowed there.

I don't condone rudeness but people are certainly allowed to share their opinions.

The only reason that the PTI forum is a happy place is because all of the non-believers have been shunned.

InkStink said...

I drop by the forum once a day to see if there are any interesting topics. What used to be 30 minutes or more spent reading is now less than 2 minutes. Like 14:42, I feel it's all fake. I'm bothered by the annoying questions of the day by the DT. I can't be bothered responding to a question that they don't care if I answered.

Anonymous said...

14:48 The non believers got downright rude with their comments so if they got shunned it was of their own making.

Anonymous said...

If I bought during the first few minutes of the release and my order hasn't moved but someone who ordered the next day already has their package, yeah, I'd be rude too!

The people who were/are rude, have valid reasons for being rude. No unicorn is going to make me believe otherwise.

I don't give a rats behind why the unicorns are on this blog. I will NEVER change my mind about how horrible PTI. I'll continue to voice my opinion where ever I please.

Anonymous said...

I don't get the shipping problem either. Some in the same city have the package in their hands in 3 days and others don't get theirs for 2 weeks. Could they be blacklisting people?

Anonymous said...

The bigger my order, the faster I get it. Wondering if they don't ship customers who order regularly in big amounts first, to keep them happy.

Anonymous said...

Shunning certain customers is ridiculous. That would take a lot of thought and planning. And i dont think they really care. dont flatter yourselves.

There is a breakdown in their system and they really need to identify it

Anonymous said...

I agree. Shunning certain customers is ridiculous.

Anonymous said...

What I meant by shunning is that if you speak the truth on the pti forum you are in fear of being pruned or accidentally getting "glitched" off of the forum altogether. You can't tell me that there is any kind of open and honest vibe about the forum.

I don't mean the people that are vocal about customer service issues will have their orders delayed. Pti couldn't do that. They aren't organized enough.

Shunning people by banning them , sending board warnings or locking them out of the forum? I'd put money on it.

Anonymous said...

It is their forum...

Anonymous said...

So they can make it look like the customers who complain are out of their minds so the new ones will never know? I guess they can, but it reflects on their lack of character.

Anonymous said...

I agree that it is their forum and that they can do whatever they want. I was merely explaining that it is not ridiculous to think that they will "shun" certain customers.

To those that didn't catch the reference, "shun the non-believers" is from a YouTube video about Charlie the unicorn.

Anonymous said...

Smackers, you have to admit you got away with smacking them on their own forum for a long time before they took action. You'd chime in with ugly comments all the time. I'm glad they handled it. I wish they had done it sooner. I really don't miss certain people.

Anonymous said...

They banned people for speaking the truth because they wanted the truth hidden.

Anonymous said...

I was a uni
The smacking on the forum was NOT as rampant as you are making it seem
There was some defence of people that got treated poorly...and people voicing honest but respectful opinions
I remember a couple of times other uni's (Ted) chiming in with his two cents an his appreciation that things were kept respectful

Anonymous said...

I seem to remember some die hard unis sending me threats when I had my first major CS issue, or have we forgotten the near death threat pile ons from counting and her gang? I sure don't miss her either.

Anonymous said...

^^^What?

Anonymous said...

I'm here because I was bullied as a kid. I was fat and had buck teeth. And I cannot sit back and watch anonymous bullies take advantage of that anonymity and be mean. Period. No excuse ever for naming names and calling individual people names.

My reason has nothing to do with stamping or PTI. This blog stopped being about those issues a long time ago.

And yes I will be anonymous. i'm not attacking any individual. I'm not being mean.

So stop with the insults towards individuals and I'll happily go away.

Anonymous said...

death threats, buck teeth?

Ok, i'm done.

Anonymous said...

Wow and LOL

Anonymous said...

What percentage of posts here are insults against people? Not that many. Drawing attention to the behavior that you don't like will only make it worse IMO.

Anonymous said...

So your posting here is about your unresolved childhood? Get a therapist.

Anonymous said...

Getting back to topic Rick did answer the tracking post. To me its reasonable.

Anonymous said...

Announced this AM that Copics are going to $8 each in January. No more for me.

Anonymous said...

What is Rick's explanation?

Anonymous said...

The lady with the buck teeth, please don't use this smack board to empower yourself, it makes you look foolish. You need a therapist!

Anonymous said...

8 bucks a marker?!!! That's just insane! Just to do grown up coloring???

Anonymous said...

I'm the one who posted about the threats.... when I disagreed with a uni (well before the smack blog, or at least my knowing about a smack blog) I received numerous PMs from several posters stating that I was not wanted on the forum.

They then continued from that "gang" of posters that I was obviously not a Christian for speaking about PTI as I was, and then it was topped off with a lovely PM stating that I would burn in hell for my opinions and would be "judged" by God for my actions. The last straw was one that came after stating that they wish they knew where I lived so they could visit my house and teach me a lesson on how one should speak of such "wonderful, Christian business owners" on the web.

the whole thing was ridiculous. But yes, some of the unis are BSC. I don't need that in my life so I never bothered to reply to any of them. I reported it to PTI CS (and of course way back then - no response ever)

I don't bash folks on there generally, but when you attack me like that, yeah I will come here and say people are crazy for letting a forum be the end all be all of their lives. If you are that in need of a happy place, you need a therapist.

My beef is with PTI though and I do want them to get better. I do not agree with personal attacks and try my best not to make any.

Anonymous said...

$8/ marker - is that on the PTI site - or all over for retail?

Anonymous said...

Dang -whats the deal with the Copics price? Didnt something come out the beginning of the year similar to Copics? I do not recall the name of them though

Anonymous said...

You don't need to happily go away. You could join in on the discussion and add something productive.

I agree with you about not liking personal attacks. Calling attention to it though might just make it worse.

Anonymous said...

Nope, not exactly the same I prefer the windows and gingerbread boy from LF.

Anonymous said...

It is very similar but not exact. If you dont want the solid stamps then Lawn Fawn is a more economical way to go.

What world does this unicorn live in? In the PTI world, it means if we delete the negativity, it doesn't exist, even though we are really assholes!

Anonymous said...

Wow, what planet does she live in where she thinks that when they censor the forum to not allow rudeness, that is "welcoming everyone"?

Anonymous said...

*live ON, gah.

Anonymous said...

This is the world that Papertrey wanted to create. By not allowing dissenters on the forum, newbies will come along and think that they must have landed in Utopia! Great products, great service (until it isn't), helpful dt members that always seem to be around (when it is their day) and Nichole who is always willing to answer questions (on release day!).

Good job Papertrey!

Anonymous said...

I got jumped on by the uni's, too, over a legitimate product problem. That experience certainly ended my postings on the PTI forum except to support other people having customer service/product issues and to attempt to shame PTI into doing the right thing.

I'm sorry, 7:56, that you were subjected to bullying PMs from the uni's.

Anonymous said...

It bothers me that the OP on that thread generalizes ALL of SCS as being full of mean girls.

Anonymous said...

This is the reality of PTI that exists everywhere except their forum:

Pretty Terrible and Inconsiderate way to have been treated?

I feel bad that she may not have known that the owners have been using the growing pains excuse to death and beyond, and that she used it and got jumped on...but to go start a whole thread about it on the PTI forum???
If you cannot take any flak then you have no business putting yourself out there on the Internet.

Anonymous said...

So we are no longer discussing customer service in regards to products and shipping?

and to excuse the things said here we are pointing fingers elsewhere?

What does this even mean? This forum is to discuss Papertrey and all things related. Nobody is trying to excuse anything that is said here. It was merely pointed out that Papertrey was discussed on SCS, a lady got her feelings hurt and started her own thread on the PTI forum. How is that not relavant?

To people who are wondering about the Copic marker price increase, read this thread on Splitcoast:

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/general-stamping-talk-f17/copic-price-increase-again-t561578.html

Nearly everyone seems to be freaking out at how expensive they are getting and saying how they are glad they already made the decision not to jump on the Copic bandwagon. I think $8 a marker is a lot of money too. My crafting budget is not very much. But dang it all I like Copics and I want them for the things they can do that other mediums cannot. So I still want to collect them all even though they are getting more and more expensive all the time.

I could freak out about the money and how I can't afford it... or I could decide to believe that somehow or other, the money will come to me and I don't need to care whether they are $4.50 or $8.00 apiece. I'm a big believer that this kind of faith and belief makes a difference. Yes, Law of Attraction stuff, google it or something. You might not agree or even care but I thought I'd share my perspective in case it could help inspire someone here.

Take care smackers! And believe in your dreams. Now back to your regularly scheduled snarkiness/bitchiness (take your pick).

Anonymous said...

LOL, the money will come to you? Wish that worked.

Anonymous said...

Money is already coming to me. My husband has a job. I can earn money. It's just a matter of how much how fast. What I'm saying is, I shouldn't let my own preconceived notions of how much abundance I am able to receive limit the process. Because God knows no limits. Know what I mean?

Anonymous said...

Maybe helping feed a homeless person is what God wants you to do with that money. I doubt He is up in heaven showering you with fortune so you can buy Copics, lol. Strange thinking you have, my dear.

Anonymous said...

Maybe I could have enough money to buy the copics AND feed the homeless people. (p.s. I do donate to charity.) Or maybe nobody should ever be allowed to buy anything fun for themselves as long as there are homeless people in the world. Do you ever buy anything beyond the bare necessities of your daily existence so that you can give all of your "spare" money to the homeless? Do you condemn everyone on the planet who owns copics because they didn't give that money to homeless people instead? Maybe you could sell the computer you are using and give that money to the homeless too. They certainly need it more than you need the luxury of being able to surf the internet. Go to a library if you need a computer to earn a living. How dare anyone enjoy and try to create a nice standard of living for themselves as long as there are homeless people in the world who either won't try or don't know how. Yeah... this one strikes a nerve.

I believe less is more. Keep what you need to live decently and to have what I need to keep my career fluid, and keep another 5% for hobbies and pleasure and the rest goes to making the world a better place. Just the way I choose to live.

had the fastest service to date from PTI. I ordered sat night and got my order today!

Anonymous said...

I like the lawn fawn ginger bread house stamp set much better than PTI. the price is also nice. I mean it does not have as many sentiments as PTI has, but I think that is okay. Once a nice scene with the house and all is constructed, you can get away with a simple sentiment as well. I just now placed a huge order with Lawn fawn, got the ginger bread house, the new border set and also some older stamp sets. I also will be placing an order with Impress for the fresh inks.. they are just the best I have used so far. The colors are so crisp and stamps well and dries quite quickly as well.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Umm, you are the one who brought up the preachy abundances stuff. the other poster was just saying she thought your thought process was strange. And so do I. It's kinda hard to imagine God up there saying, "oh I'm going to make sure there is an abundance of dollars around for little Deepak so she can buy some more copics and color in some more cartoon pics, coz I'm not really into feeding the poor today either".

Anonymous said...

10:33 It's called God's blessings. I got an unexpected $1100 check this week from my insurance company. Just at a time when I really needed it. God provides for the poor too just like he provides for you and me.

Anonymous said...

Can you take your religious stuff else where.

Thanks

Anonymous said...

Whatever, 11:14. We're not believers, and yet we have plenty for our needs, and enough to donate to others as well. God didn't provide us what we need, we worked for it.

Anonymous said...

Is there a full moon tonight? Weirdness abounds....but at least we aren't smackin' the lovely DT or forum members:)

Anonymous said...

11:21 No, the last time I checked I still have freedom of speech.

12:15 Every good thing comes from God. God provides all your needs whether you want to believe it or not.

Anonymous said...

Religious crazies....Cindy Coutts is that you???

Anonymous said...

not buck toothed person here.sorry for goofing. but it is a smack blog.when are you going to learn that you cannot trust a single thing on this blog? 99% can be honest and sincere but you just will never know which posts are the 1 - 98% that are phony.

And, religious person really? really? sweet jesus. good lord. holy ghost. do you really believe that god is providing for you but not about a billion poor people? if so, WTF??

Anonymous said...

god = tooth fairy

both are imaginary people

13:20-I have had a bad day and you just made me LMAO! That girl is crazy, and wouldn't doubt if it was her!

Anonymous said...

Sweet cheese and crackers, who let the religious nutz in here.

Not a believer either.

Anonymous said...

Shelly Cooksley needs to unclench and let the stick out of her ass!

Nobody on the SCS thread called her stupid and even if they did what kind of child is "mortified" by that.

Wackadoodle in the house!

Anonymous said...

I am not a uni and I felt bad by the way that she was sweet cheese and crackered.

Not everybody is as knowledgeable as we are. Some customers have only come to know PTI over the past few months and they are merely sharing their experiences. I don't feel that it is my job to call them stupid or crazy because they don't know everything that we know.

They can be enlightened in a kinder, gentler way IMO.

What ever happened to Sir Farts A Lot? He/She used to post a card on the blog hop and link it to the smack board.

Anonymous said...

14:39-If she is not knowledgeable on the subject, then why is she responding to a thread like that? I don't think what anyone said over on SCS was remotely mean.
She needs to put her big girl panties on and get over it. Maybe she is embarrassed? Geeesh...

Anonymous said...

I have been on the SCS forum for over 3 years now and for the most part nobody is rude. Nothing in that thread was rude. The mods do a hyper-vigilant job over there (some may say too much, if you kwim).

Anonymous said...

Is sweet cheese and crackered like tar and feathered?

Thanks for the clarification. I thought BSC was Bitch Slapping Christians or something.

Anonymous said...

Fresh Ink arrived a few minutes ago. Fig is going to be perfect for gingerbread men! Love that ink!

Anonymous said...

13:32 Yes, I do believe that. He provides for everyone. You don't need wealth to be rich.

14:03 God is real. Hope you realize that before it's too late.

Anonymous said...

So how do you explain the homeless or people like my neighbor who froze to death because she could not afford heat and no one knew about it? What do you have to do to get God to provide for you?

Anonymous said...

I have no interest in discussing religion, politics, SAHM vs working moms or how we should send our spare income.

There is an off topic forum on Papertrey for that. :-D

Thank you.

I hope you are for real and not just someone else playing games and yanking people's chains.

I'm a firm believer in this sort of thing - positive thoughts reap benefits. Nice to see someone else expressing it.

18:06 I believe In God too, He is real.
I am not going to get into a debate why there is suffering in the world etc. I do know we all have freewill to do right or wrong. That I believe is one of our gifts from Him. :) We control our actions.

Please don't take this the wrong way, this is a PTI smack blog and I agree with 18:32 there is an off topic thread in the PTI forum. :)

^^^ or homeschooling ;)

Wow, is there a full moon tonight?

Anonymous said...

sir farts a lot got his/her ip blocked from participating in the hop

Anonymous said...

18:06 We live in a fallen world. That's why things like that happen.
In answer to your question, I don't have to do anything for God to provide for me. He am his child and he loves me.

Anonymous said...

Can you take the religious talk elsewhere? Like the PTI Off Topic Forum? I have no interest in hearing your sermons.

Anonymous said...

so I assume miss religion is voting for romney? i figure lets' totally destroy this blog.

Anonymous said...

Oh God, not the politics too!

Anonymous said...

I don't care what your personal beliefs are! Live and let live.

4:13 I was asked a question and I answered it.

Betsy Veldman is doing the Paper Smooches DT blog hop today! She says she is guest designing, but I bet this is going to be part of her exit from PTI! Good for you, Betsy!

Anonymous said...

Is Sir----- really Ted? Is he banned?

To the religious one. This is exactly why people turn against religion. You say God loves you and you don't have to do anything. He just showers you with money.

Those who are not showered by money means God does not love them? No wonder they want nothing to do with it.

Anonymous said...

I can't see Betsy leaving for Paper Smooches. It was just a favor for a friend.

I am not a fan of Paper Smooches stamps and they don't seem to suit Betsy's style.

Anonymous said...

Please do not feed the religion talk! Just ignore it.

Anonymous said...

No, I am going to vote for Obama. I love supporting everyone that doesn't work with my salary.

Anonymous said...

7:40 I didn't say he showered me with money. He showers me with blessings. At times those blessings come in unexpected money. Haven't you ever received unexpected money? At times those blessings come in the form of encouragement, a call from a friend when I really needed support and love etc. Add to that peace, guidance and comfort in difficult times. I am not special. If you reflect on your life you will see those blessings have been given to you too. It's the source of those blessings that I recognize.

just to change the subject...

anyone here taking Becky Higgins Project Real Life class on big picture classes?

Still going back and forth. Thinking I will regret it if I don't take it, but it is expensive.

Anonymous said...

Thank you for changing the subject!

I have no input on Project Life other than to say that it doesn't interest me. I guess it is an effective way to scrapbook but it just isn't my thing.

Anonymous said...

The Fresh ink refills seem so expensive. I wish that these inks were sold in more than one place so that I could shop around.

Anonymous said...

Are there any PTI designers that have left that still use their Papertrey stamps on their blogs? Do any of them have nice things to say about the company?

Anonymous said...

I'm doing project life using Beckys products but I am not taking her class. I'm up to date with the pictures and journaling in a Word document but I'm behind in acutally journaling on the PL cards.

I'm glad I did it but I don't think a class would interest me. I was not going to do it in 2013 but seeing the new kits has made me rethink my decision.

Anonymous said...

What are everyone's thoughts on on-line glasses in general? I've taken a couple and I like that I can go back and access the information but truthfully I never have.

Anonymous said...

I took the first one Jenn McGuire and Kristina Werner did
I wasn't bad -and I think only $19? But it was just a bunch of colour combos and techniques
I can honestly say after about 5 years paper-crafting I didn't learn anything new, and there are plenty color combo challenges if I need inspiration

I'm about to take a cameo class though, as I think it will help me get more from my machine

Anonymous said...

Where are you taking the cameo class? I need one

Anonymous said...

I signed up for a free Jessica Sprague class on photoshop elements and loved it! I've actually gone back to it a few times for a refresher.

I signed up for the basic cameo class on KeriBradford.com and I only finished 2 of the 6 or so lessons.

Keri has awesome products but truth be told I find Keri's voice very annoying and monotone-ish. I also don't like the fact that it seems like she gulps so much air when talking that she's constantly doing silent burps.

I really need to finish the lessons but in all honesty, her voice has kept me from it.

Anonymous said...

So what happened to Ted?

Anonymous said...

this is why I thought I might take Becky's class. It seems to be more than just a PL class but also how to regain focus in how to scrap the little things better.

Sounds like something I could use since I feel like I don't have much on a daily basis because I'm a go to work, play with my son, put him to bed, and try to get laundry/dishes/pay bills etc done before I crash to do it all over again.

but then again, $100 for a class... ouch.

I did sign up for Shimelle's JYC class and I'm really looking forward to those for doing my first DD this year.

I have also done the Jessica Sprague photoshop classes and htey are really great.

Anonymous said...

nothing "happened" to ted. He was mocked here and insulted by PTI.

Anonymous said...

Ted still licks PTI's ass a few times a month but he's moved on to the Silhouette message board.

Anonymous said...

I didn't think Ted was Sir Farts A Lot? I thought that was someone else's blog?

Anonymous said...

How about instead of taking the project life class, use the $100 to go on a date with your son and capture some memories on camera to use for project life instead? I end up in a routine too with work, homework, chores, etc. Using the money to having a fun weekend would be more valuable to me than the class. Just a thought.

Anonymous said...

I really want to do Project Life. I've tried twice - first time got through about 6 months, the second about 6 weeks. The 6 month album has been one of my most favorite projects ever. Love looking at it. So why can't I stay motivated for a year?

Not sure I would get $100 of value from the class. There seems to be so much inspiration and ideas online.

Could we have more
