  4. Holy cow! Why didn't the DT start helping on the forum months ago? They are getting to the bottom of MANY issues (and I define "many" by how many more than Jenn & Dave have been able to resolve, so...more than 1). Read the last post by DF from tonight:

    I'm sorry, but MOST OF THE ISSUES HAVE BEEN FIXED?!? Is she out of her mind? I don't think *any* issues have been fixed! CC's still not working, GC are a nightmare, none of the cosmetic issues have been resolved, no State drop-down when people check out, people can't use reward points, people can't stay logged in, carts still dumping... no one really believes most of the issues have been fixed, right? They can't be that stupid!

  7. So look...the trolls are resorting to more clever and sneaky measures. I know most of you do not care, but some of you are anonymous for a reason.

    In the prior post, a veiled troll posted a link to a blog where they track where you are located. On the sidebar it tracks your IP address and tells you where it believes it is from, based on a lookup algorithm. It then announces for all to see where you are located.

    Luckily, it posted the wrong state for me. But some of the IP addresses are coming from out of country, so they may be correct.

    Just be careful when you click on live hyperlinks in others' comments, if you are worried about your privacy. I am going to stop using live hyperlinks in my comments so you know the exact address of where I'm trying to send you before you navigate to it.

    Yes, the Coldplay reference was brought up both here and on the PTI forum. Someone even posted a link to a legal site. There is speculation as to whehter or not PTI would get in trouble if reported.

  14. Yeah, sorry. I've recently acquired a life. It's strange to say the least, but it's hard to keep up here cos y'all are moving so fast!

    While I'd LOVE to see them get sued, I don't think they would. It seems they've changed the three lines enough to avoid the "plagiarism" thing, yes? Just singing it myself there are extra words in there that don't appear in the song.

  15. There is a company called Dunn & Bradstreet that basically keeps credit reports for businesses.

    These reports are kept on large businesses, and a business of their size and age [Heskamp Printing, esp.] would most likely have one.

    They take info from vendors, bans, secretary of state & SEC filings, etc., and then compile that info to provide a score for the subject companhy.

    I'd love to see what PTI's D&B report looks like, and also that of Heskamp Printing. That would tell us a lot about what's going on over there financially.

  16. Aeryn, I think that is the same conclusion everyone else came to...that PTI would probably not be sued since they changed it just enough.

    ^^^ I thought someone posted awhile back some link to their financial records. I don't know if it was accurate, but they claimed it said the Heskamps made $600K and that there were 6 reported employees.

  17. D&B reports tell you a lot more than annual sales.

    They tell you how a company pays other vendors, whether there are (or have ever been) liens on the company, outstanding lawsuits, tax filings, sec filings, etc.

Does it really matter if the order is placed before 10pm or after? You are still placing an order, either way. Time to put her on ignore!

    Wondering if the DT know what it got into yesterday because when it turns out the problems are NOT fixed and this release is as bad or worse than last month, there could be a huge backlash on them. I'm wondering if the true motivation behind yesterday's circling of the wagons was genuine concern or concern for their bottom line.

  20. Yeah, I'd love to see a D&B on them. Anyone have access? We do at work but I'm not sure I could get one pulled.

    I can't imagine that the DT weren't strongly encouraged at the very least to jump on board yesterday. It's all about the push for sales at release time. They've been doing it for the last several months. Pretty obvious ploy, don't ya think?

    I don't fault Donna C. I'm placing an order today too to use up reward points. I'll be damned if they deny me those. And then b'bye.

    I really don't know who is stupid enough to risk ordering. I noticed one woman who I thought was always handslapping, having problems with her 2012 cc... makes you think!

  27. Not hand-slapping just curious RE: Donna and any others ordering. An order is an order. Period. If you place one, you fall into the "special kind of stupid" category, don't you? I'm confused at how it is okay for you (general, not specific) to order but not for anyone else. And who the hell orders on release day, even if it is prior to the release, and doesn't expect their order to get caught up in that frenzy? You know they don't pack and ship all the outstanding orders before the release happens. That'd make too much sense. I've said for a long time that people who order from this company on release day are crazy and just want to twiddle their thumbs for two weeks waiting on their order. Did that once. Won't ever do it again.

    I think the DT was asked/told by Nichole to get in there and take over -- she's hanging them out to dry just like she did her "friend" Jenn.

    I'm amazed at how this company is being run into the ground more and more every day.

  28. On the 'ordering info' from Nichole for this release, it mentions the following:
    ........................
    If for some reason you do not receive a shipping notice via the shipping carrier, be sure to check your spam folder before contacting us. Tracking information can be provided via Customer Service if needed.
    .........................
    But from all the hassles over the past month,that 'tracking information' was NOT provided and CS didn't/couldn't provide it either.

    We would like to sincerely thank each and every one of our customers for their patience and understanding during this difficult transitional period. We realize with the launch of our new website there have been many issues. Please accept our sincerest apologies if you have been affected by these problems, and know that we are working diligently to resolve the remaining issues as quickly as possible.



    Due to the number of issues we have experienced, our customer service department has been working tirelessly to respond to every email that has been submitted to customer service. Much to our dismay, they have had difficulty moving through the backlog because of the time we are dedicating to each individual email, making sure each customer is taken care of to the best of our abilities. Because we are concerned that customers with critical issues are not being helped in an acceptable amount of time, we will be clearing out our customer service inbox so that those customers with critical issues can resubmit their email and be taken care of as quickly as possible. This clearing out will help eliminate many emails mentioning issues that have already been resolved due to the hard work put in behind the scenes with the website and allow those with current unresolved issues to the forefront and be better served.


    We ask that anyone who has heard back from a customer service representative, to wait one week to resubmit their customer service email as the issue/issues may have already been resolved or will be resolved by the end of this week (3/16/2012).



    Who should submit/resubmit an email to customer service:

    · A customer with a missing order.

    · A customer in need of a shipping refund due to a gift

    certificate or template

    · A customer who has not received their template.

    · A customer who has not received their new gift certificate

    code.

    · A customer that is missing an item from their order.

    · A customer who has received a damaged item.



    We respectfully ask customers with the following issues to resubmit their customer service inquiries after April 1st:

    · Website/Business suggestions

    · Stock questions - We will be sending updates via email on

    popular out of stock items.

    · Non-critical account issues



    As the March release quickly approaches, we would like to share with you the following issues that have now been resolved:

    · You will no longer incur shipping charges for Gift Certificates

    or downloads.

    · The list of states has been updated, making it easier at

    checkout.

  47. Bringing in DTs will not make me change my mind. I will not buy till they make the changes. Being an international, I want other shipping options. I loaded my cart with all the fusion Flower sets and dies. Thats 12 $5 sets and 12 $3 dies. Total of $96 and my shipping cost is $40.14!!!! WTF! Can't these $5 sets and dies be put in an padded envelope and sent? Sorry there are better companies. Kim from Paper smooches sent me 7 sets in an envelope for $6 postage! And the package came in 10 days :) She also emailed me that on a set is in backorder and will send it when the order arrives separately (free postage to international Hello!) and also apologised for the delay. If small companies can do that why cannot PTI provide shipping options for internationals?????????
    So no more of my money goes to PTI, until they sort all the isses out :)

    I am completely aghast at the stupidity of the people who make the customer service decisions at PTI.

    After putting out an SOS to their design team yesterday and getting "all hands on deck" to deal with the plethora of complaints on the forums, there was a glimmer of hope that maybe this ship could be saved from sinking.

    By deleting the customer's e-mails, some of whom have been waiting for a MONTH for resolution, PTI has essentially hit the proverbial iceberg.

    To the DT: get off the boat, now. YOU are what we love about PTI, and we will still love you if you choose to leave. In fact, we may even have MORE respect for you.

    To Nichole: You are an artistic genius and the reason why I started buying from PTI. I will go on the record as saying that your release posts this month were less than inspired. I am not surprised, because if I were in your shoes I would have a very difficult time being creative. If there is any way that you can save yourself from this mess, please do so.

    To the owners of PTI: (and yes, I know Nichole is one of the partners in the company) I will continue to spread the word about your shoddy service and complete lack of respect for your customers. Perhaps my voice isn't enough, but I know that there are many others who will join me.

    To the customers who STILL support PTI: Order at your own risk and please, do not come crying to the forums or elsewhere when you are stuck in the customer service quagmire. You have been warned, and you chose to ignore it.

    To anyone with outstanding GCS or reward points: CASH OUT NOW! This ship is sinking.

    i figure if the customers start screaming that they don't have a computer connection, i'll simply respond to the biggest whiners first. seems that philosophy is working well for pti. less stress for me.

  66. 1- Anyone who doesn't use up their points soon will lose them when the business goes poof, so why rail on those using them up?

    2-If I get overwhelmed at work, from now on I am dropping all reports in the garbage, emptying my phone messages, clearing the computer and then people can just contact me again IF their problems are really problems. Not just pretend problems.

    3-I will go full speed ahead with all future plans even though my backlog at work is crazy and it is likely the future plans will turn out a mess.

    Since it is the 15th/Release Day and the CS email is coming out this morning, it is painfully obvious to me what PTI's intentions are...MONEY. Some of you called that out earlier and I was skeptical, but now I fully believe it. With this wording in the CS email: "we are committed to making your shopping experience a great one" - their immediate focus is on customers purchasing. This makes sense since it is Release Day, but they could have worked on these CS issues way before today instead of gearing up for this release. It's obvious where their priorities were.

    I don't know if Jen has little kids or not... schools' spring break (in Northern VA)is the first week of April, so I don't see why she would be out for Spring Break.
    My feeling is that she couldn't take it anymore and either had a breakdown or quit.

  88. I have a feeling they shut down the rewards yesterday and are not restocking OOS items until tonight to force people to order at release (and maybe pick up items they were not going to get). Many people had mentioned ordering before release to cash out their rewards and PTI can't have that kind of thing happening.

  94. It seems to me that PTI has known for at least a few days that they were deleting ALL customer emails. If I had to guess, Jenn's absence coinciding with the deletion of all customer service emails is no coincidence.

    In trying to think about this from Jenn perspective, I think PTI's latest move would have sent me over the edge - especially since Jenn would be taking all of the heat from yet another poor business decision. So even though I don't defend her snippy responses on the forum, I can't even imagine how brazen the PTI owners would have had to been to make t this "delete all the emails" decision and let Jenn take the heat.

    I am certain that design teams appearance on the forum only hours ahead of this announcement is no fluke either.

  96. Perhaps the DT having some hands on time with the business side of PTI rather than the creative side will have some impact on their impressions of PTI .

    It makes me wonder about other popular designers who have left PTI for seemingly no reason. Perhaps they had problems with the business side of PTI too.

    Sorry to shout but you really, really need to let ALL CUSTOMERS know (not just forum members and newsletter subscribers) what is going on behind the scenes if you really and truly care about customers.

    You may not have time to read the 2 pages of utter disbelief at the newsletter so I am addressing this in a separate thread.

Becky, I really don't get why people keep buying and putting up with it either. And the excuses people make. I read online somewhere that someone "knew for a fact" that I was kicked off the team.     In order to place an order at Papertrey, you have to provide an email address. I've gotten word that every customer that's ever placed an order, was sent the CS update email this morning. I've also been told that every person that still had an outstanding email waiting at Customer Service, was also sent the same CS update email this morning.

    Your request has been passed along, however there shouldn't be a need to post the update on the website if every single one of Papertrey's existing customers was notified directly in their inbox this morning. HTH! :)

That's right people, I was asked to leave by the head honcho, because of the lack of popularity of my blog supposedly. Sad at the time, better off now.   135. So I stupidly ordered last month and used gift certificates. Like so many others, I still haven't gotten a refund, and my emails to customer service have gone unanswered for weeks. Yesterday I PMed one of the DT members and she has been responding to my issue and at least seems like she is trying to help. She's at least listened to my issue and responded like she cares, which is way more than Jenn or Dave did. She also told me that I am "on the list" of people who got their credit cards refunded yesterday. So I will wait a few more days to see if it goes through.

    Anyway, just wanted to share - I am actually really glad the DT is helping out and have FINALLY felt "listened to".

    Also, anyone else who is having a problem - PM A DT MEMBER!!! It might help!!!

  167. I see no good coming of this. The three amigos were too stubborn to understand how to actually build this business and now I think it's too late for them. Not enough putting money into cs and too much tied up in inventory that will never move.

    Probably can't afford to buy each other out, so. Will sell off remaining stock and call it quits. Someone will buy up the designs and sell them as digital downloads for $0.25 while the headys go into foreclosure on the house that stamps built. That polymer stamp material sure isn't very sturdy!

    As stated in the CS memo on Nichole's blog:

    You will no longer incur shipping charges for Gift Certificates or downloads.
    •The list of states has been updated, making it easier at checkout.

    When you get banned do you get a pink slip like you do on some other sites, explaining why you are banned and if it is temporary or permanent? btw, I think I know the answer to this already. :)

    Oh, and wonderful isn't it, how quickly they are fixing issues with their forum by banning hags yet they are incapable of fixing anniversary set issues from over a year ago.

    I did not get any notification from PTI about being banned.
