  6. Another Canadian here (I think that's 4 now). WTG Canucks!
I can't even be bothered to go to PTI Forum anymore...so much more fun here! But from the last thread someone wrote:
"Love me some Ice Queen Suzanne!!! Her post made me literally L.O.L."
Where was that post? I am queensuzanne on the forum, wonder if I was whitty enough to make someone lol?

  7. PTI Smack III - you are doing a great job and I like the redo on the side of the blog. Nice work!

No worries free Nichole, I'm over it...

  9. Suzanne - it was on the "not in the mood" thread. Your whole post was awesome but this line sums it up:

Give me a "what's fracked up & how we're actively fixing it" post any day. Now, that would put me in the mood.

  10. What up free Lisa and CDN mofo! L O V E your nicknames.

How about Paper Played as a name?

I have to say I've been on the forum a lot lately just so I can follow along here. You guys are killing my productivity at work and no I'm not a teacher.

  11. Way to go JEN CARTER for simultaneously bumping the Jenn/Dave Anniv thread AND the issue of how rude Julie was to a customer who called. Nice work.

  12. Lol @ 19:09 on the teacher comment.

  13. I'd like to see Ellen Hutson, LLC, Waltzingmouse Stamps, and Gina K. Designs added to the list. Especially because they are ALL often referred to as having exceptional customer service!

  14. Please add Ellen Hutson to your list. She is the fastest shipper ever and you get 10% off the next month's order each time you order.

  17. Loving the Ted drama (for a change). How long before he's back? He bugs me cause he plays as if he's a PTI ambassador, and a moral authority, all the while fishing for compliments and assurances that he's right and everyone likes him.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ellen Hutson, Waltzingmouse (how could I forget them?!), Gina K. all added. Along with Cropstop and they have 10% discounts if you have their newsletter/visit their blog!

I really liked the knock off site name suggestion "Hope That Helps". That was my forum name yesterday. Can I just say, for me the current name is just fine. I'm just voting for HTH if it is going to be changed at some point.

  24. I swear, the next person who posts on the forum "I've never had a problem! I'm just so happy with everything pti!!" I will be tempted to comment, "Well turn the light out when you leave!"

    Dumbass

    ReplyDelete
  25. Wasn't Sky Nacho a guest stamper (or whatever) awhile ago? What happened to her that she turned on PTI?

    * LOVE her ticker as well! *

    ReplyDelete
  26. good god, I'm late to this party. After getting my hands slapped repeatedly by PTI evangelists I stopped reading their forum. The latest train wreck of a release made me go back...just to view the carnage...and then I heard about y'all. I'm liking the view from here.

  29. I have a question about your new craft room Audrey. Is that rug genuine hand-beaten dead horse?

    ReplyDelete
  30. How awesome would it be if we all put tickers in our sigs?I thought it would be great for PTI to know how much money they've lost in sales.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Anybody think PTI might just pull the plug on the forum??

    ReplyDelete
  32. i think they might pull the plug. and then all the happy unicorn lovers can blame all us naysayers for taking away their happy place.

I think they took a step towards doing this when they buried it so deep in the new website - that newbies would never FIND it.

    ReplyDelete
  33. also- anyone else think its ASSININE that people have to use "another form of payment" when their CC expires this year? WTF?

I work in retail, and I could ALMOST see telling a customer, Im sorry, you cant use this perfectly GOOD credit card cuz our register wont accept anything with 4's in it. Can you pay by cash or your first born?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. @ 8:13. I think it is assinine that they still have not fixed it!!!! Have to say I was unable to check in on all of this today and was shocked at what all I missed!! You all ROCK!

      Delete
  34. @ 8:11 you are right I'm sure they would blame us. I think we should start a pool on how long before PTI pulls the plug on the forum.

    ReplyDelete
  41. They wont let me on the forum. The mistake I made was my first post being on the 'I don't have my anniversary set yet' thread, saying I don't have mine yet and that I'd like to take one of the very generous people up on their offer. I was super polite and didn't do any of the sledging I wanted to about how long I've been waiting on how I've received three emails saying it'd be on its way.

So, looks like they wont be letting any newbies on the forum unless they only have sickly sweet nice things to say. ICK.

Wow....I thought I had a busy day, but it looks like the blog bitches were busier!

Applause to all who are standing up for those with issues. I'd comment, but I'm stuck in newbie limbo.

  44. Director of Non-Communications for Papertrey Stink9 March 2012 at 01:15

00:06: I've posted a few times in the last couple weeks - mostly on the FSOT board, and none of my posts have shown up.

I figured maybe they're too busy answering emails to moderate comments?

That appears to not be the case, however.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yep, seems as though they are busy creating non-answers to questions and not actually helping people. I can't believe it! I launched a website six months ago that we hadn't had time to properly test but was widely popular in the first 24 hours (3000 sign ups in the first day) and so we had a flood of emails come in (more than five a minute at some points) and sever crashes galore, so what did we do? Hired someone immediately to help answer emails, and myself, my boss and the new person answered emails until 1am two days in a row to get people's problems solved, or at least let them know we were listening. We've now created an AMAZING community that will stick with us through more glitches because they know we are listening and that we genuinely care about what is going on and are doing our best to get things fixed. I can't believe how royally PTI are fucking this up when even _I_ got it right, and I am not a business owner and my livlihood does not depend on the success of that website!!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I Read Every Comment9 March 2012 at 02:53

I think it's time for Nichole to borrow Ted's Giant Wall Scissors and cut her ties with PTI.
Notwithstanding the fact that Ted may have taken his Scissors and packed them into his Jesus Inside Decaled Tim Holz Storage Case and stomped off to another sandbox....for now.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Add That 2 Your List9 March 2012 at 03:01

@ 2:13 - they don't think their livelihood depends on this. People are still ordering even with the glitchy website, long delays & 2012 CC issues.

As long as PTI is front & centre in magazines, unsuspecting newbies will buy their product. Poor fools don't know that they just bought a steerage class ticket on Titanic.

  51. Let's recap Jenn's answers from the anniv set threads, shall we?
    Oct 2011 she says:
"They were supposed to be all sent by last Friday,..."
    Feb 27 she says:
"Dave and I have had conversations about this and that he is fully aware of your situation if you have sent an email. Since he is on site, he is in a better position to handle this for you and make sure you have a resolution."
    March 5th she says:
"Ladies, I have answered this. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but your continuing efforts here are not necessary. I've told you it will be taken care of for those who it affects. Every time I have to check in on this thread is time taken away from other issues that are also important. This has not fallen off my radar, and it will be taken care of."
March 7th (on Missy's serious question) she says:
"I am working behind the scenes to make sure it happens."
    March 8th she says:
"I am working on this and will absolutely make sure it is taken care of."

Any guesses on what the the next update will be?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Oh there'll be updates, like maybe every two weeks or so. I predict there will still be updates in 2013. Because there is NO WAY this is getting resolved before then. Just make some more sets and send them. Stop producing your other stamps so you can get these made faster. FFS it's clearly not even a low priority for them.

LOVE how they promise to send everyone that had that missing stamp in their set from last release their new stamps within 5 weeks. FIVE WEEKS?! I've been waiting OVER A YEAR now for my anniversary set. I have sent three sickenly polite emails about it and only got 'we're working on it' back. Such utter BS.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yep, there is an update for 9 March.
Jenn is now asking all those who have not received their sets to email their mailing addresses to CS.
She says she is GOING to get these sets to them.

Does that mean they have them in stock????

Interesting to see how long this takes. What fun to have to email CS again for those poor ladies who are still waiting on these sets.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Okay, Smackers, I just have to say this. I cannot jump on the "free Nichole" bandwagon.

I know she's not part of customer service but she's obviously aware of it (just from having to turn off comments on her blog - which must be tough b/c now she can't keep blabbering on about all of the *enthusiasm!*.

She is still associated with this company and if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. Old saying but very true.

If she cares one iota about having people respect her in this community then she should take a stand already. She has not earned my respect by continuing with the charade of release after release in the face of unresolved customer service issues.

Step down from that pedestal or ivory tower, NH, and show us what you're made of. That's the only way I'd go back or follow Nichole anywhere - if she steps up instead of burying her head in the sand like everyone else is apparently doing.

I say, Save Yourself, Nichole. Stand up on your own two feet and make the changes happen. I think she's the only one who has the power to do it.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I have to agree with the last post about Nichole.

    And "email CS your addresses?"

Well there you have it. They lost or screwed up the database.

    ReplyDelete

The post from Jenn for those that are interested. I am hesitantly excited about this movement.

    ReplyDelete
  57. That post about mailing addresses is only good for those that read the forum. What about the ones who do not read the forum. Shouldn't that announcement be on Nicole's website or posted somewhere in the shop???

    ReplyDelete

  60. Dear Aimee,
    http://forum.papertreyink.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=32743#p368412

You mention being aware of all of the problems and yet you still want to place an order? Good luck with that.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Ooooo ... today's episode is going to be goooood. Jennifer just answered aimee with an overly enthusiastic sarcastic answer.

PTI is treating her like an idiot (jenn's answer) even though she's still willing to buy.

    ReplyDelete
  62. This is hysterical. I am glad everyone enjoyed my thread and I hoped it inspired a few more to get the same resolution I did. That is, if they do send it.

I am not holding my breath..

    ReplyDelete
  63. yikes, that really sucks for her. I think she says she was trying to get it for a custom order or something though?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Well if Jenn is getting those sets out somebody needs to tell Dave! Apparently he has been on top of it for a while now. Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I agreed with Susan from SImplicity right up until she said "I will continue ordering from PTI".

That is why PTI isn't in any hurry to halt the new release and truly fix the problems. Why should they?

    ReplyDelete
  66. SOOOOO tempted to F with them and email CS my address. And no, I am not waiting for a set ... just that obviously they don't know who is and who isn't.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Here's what Jennifer answered with.

Yes, thanks!! Our IT guy is in there right now working on it. I appreciate the heads up.

I want to post "Is the IT guy a relative? That would explain why PTI keeps him around".

    ReplyDelete
  68. And what about all the people who never check the forum?? How will they be getting their sets?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Sorry 5:50, I didn't see your post before I said the same. Great minds...

    ReplyDelete
  70. @ 6:02 Not sure if you were being sarcastic, but you do know that the IT guy is Julie's husband, right?? He even confirmed it by "popping in" to the forum and bragging that he was involved in that, ahem, "website".

    ReplyDelete
  71. Bump those threads, Leigh!

Wonder if the clique has a "bumping" schedule. Leigh takes the next hour, and then PTILover takes a shift?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Add That 2 Your List9 March 2012 at 06:10

@ 6:02 - Still only one boob, I'm mean guy working on a monstrous task like their website. WTH?!?! With the number of issues on the site, they need a team of competent IT peeps working round the clock. But, that's a solution a competent team of business owners would come up with.

The cost of hiring more people would easily be offset by the orders that COULD have been placed IF their crappy website was user friendly and accepted rewards, GC's and 2012 expiry dates.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Lol 6:09. But they're really short-handed since Ted took his giant scissors and went home.

    ReplyDelete
  74. If PTI were serious about wanting to get those sets out and make it right then they would post it on Nichole's blog, SCS, 2peas, the fb page, all design team websites. Mumbling it in a locked thread on a forum that most can't find and many other have quit .... not cool.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Now HERE is an example of class. Mary / Greeneyedgirl just posted to Aimee's "anybody home" thread:
"I don't think I would have enough, but I would gladly send you all my Aqua Mist and Raspberry Fizz, free of charge. Some have done wonderful things for me on this forum and hopefully I could just pay it forward."

    ReplyDelete
  76. @ 6:02 Not sure if you were being sarcastic, but you do know that the IT guy is Julie's husband, right?? He even confirmed it by "popping in" to the forum and bragging that he was involved in that, ahem, "website".

Yup, I was being sarcastic. I would want to ask the question just to see what the answer would be.

    ReplyDelete
  77. PTI truly has redefined CS:
    Customers answer the questions
Customers send each other missing goods
    Customers sharing anniv sets
Customers sticking up for each other.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Dead Horse Beater9 March 2012 at 06:25

@5:59 I hope that enough will hold back this release to really put a dent in PTI's pocketbook. Wait make that a gash.
As much as I hate to say it....I have to agree with the whole free nichole? No sympathy from me....things have went way past that point.

    ReplyDelete
  79. @ 6:20 Lol. Well I know from experience that if you ask an honest, non-personal, non-flaming question that even hints at "WTH is going on with PTI" you WILL get a PM from Jenn with a warning. Just sayin'

Sometimes I'm tempted to go out in flames and post right out loud what all of us are thinking. But I just vent on the smack blog so I can continue to watch the show.

    ReplyDelete
  80. @ 6:25 ITA but I'm afraid it might make things WORSE. The clueless who continue to order will now get their stuff even quicker and will dumbly be posting that with a row of cheerleader emoticons.

    ReplyDelete
  81. But they're really short-handed since Ted took his giant scissors and went home.

Hahahaha! This is my favorite line of the day!

    ReplyDelete
  82. "Sometimes I'm tempted to go out in flames and post right out loud what all of us are thinking. But I just vent on the smack blog so I can continue to watch the show."

I agree that it's better to just post here. Actually going out in flames would just make one more "smack blogger" look rabid and the cheerleaders already think that anyways.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Aaaaannnnnd cue Inspektor Cloizeau. Action!

    ReplyDelete
  84. I've been lurking here, you guys are cracking me up. I just posted to the knock, knock is anyone home thread with another problem their site is having. They are now moderating posts. I got a message saying that my post would get reviewed before posting. We'll see if they post it!

    ReplyDelete
  85. http://forum.papertreyink.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=32666

    From cloiseaux-
It seems we have fractured into several groups here:......and then the group in which I exist that wants civility, positive change and continuity of PTI.

UH, sorry Cindy, I would call your group the rabid defenders. The ones that are willing to defend Papertrey to the point of just being ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Ya know, Clueless-zeau, I would much rather imagine the impact of an innocent customer who has 3x their order charged to their CC ... with no refund yet....than I would a faceless, voiceless, company that has had massive sales every month for the last five years. WHY do people feel compelled to defend PTI for their own dumb mistakes?? Let them speak for themselves.

I've received complaints about your avatar. Could you please remove it? Thank you.~ Jennifer Ellefson

Kiss my Ass PTI and forum members. I am SOOOOOOO finished.

  88. Oh christ. That cloizeaux woman is at it again.

  89. I love that Stacy posted an alternative to a PTI product! We can all do that, post products that are similar to Papertrey's in order to help Aimee with her big project!

    ReplyDelete
  90. So who's avatar was offensive? Was it the devil inside or the PTI-free ticker? LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  91. As a long-time forum member I can remember some seriously offensive avatars that RICK used regularly. For those of you who don't know Rick - he is Julie's husband, Jane's son-in-law, and the genius running the PTI website.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Train wreck spectator9 March 2012 at 06:50

So now Jenn has time to police people's avatars, too? Wow, she's some kind of wonder woman!

    ReplyDelete
  93. I have to skip past Cloizeeaofianwoeifaweo and pricecheck's posts b/c they stir up all sorts of mean thoughts in me that I'd rather not be stirred up. It's not good for my skin. Or my blood pressure.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Can I complain about Ted's avatar then?

    ReplyDelete
  95. So, just to make sure this is all still a bad dream, Jenn responds to an AVATAR COMPLAINT before addressing the issue that Pinefeather in missing from the paper pack??? Only in PTI-land....

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  101. Or maybe it's just mine that is being moderated? I see all sorts of posts going through. Is there a rule on being moderated if you don't have many posts? I have been on there for a long time, on the old one even. Just never post.

    ReplyDelete
  102. and cue PTILover.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Doesn't cloizeaux realize how difficult it will be for all those people when they no longer have a job? Let's see one month of no pay versus no pay period.

    ReplyDelete
  104. No offense to the original poster, but I wouldn't exactly consider the missing Pine Feather card stock a "problem" as much as I'd call it a relief. Blech!

    ReplyDelete
  105. If it is the Devil Inside avatar you should sweetly email Jenn back and tell her that it's the team name for your disabled child's little league & you are very proud of it.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Lol @ 7:03. But I feel like we just got a preview of coming shows. Can't wait to see how that's fixed. SASE anyone??

    ReplyDelete
  107. Jenn has such a talent of rephrasing the non-answer so many different ways.

    ReplyDelete
  108. ^^LOL to those post!

Anyone else think that Jen's new post on the Anniversary sets is just a bandaid to get through this release and those who email her will get the same runaround next month? It's smoke and mirrors to make it look to everyone like they are taking care of the issue so it's safe to order.

    ReplyDelete
  109. One thing is sure. This is one rough "transition period" for all of us.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Anybody notice how many "hidden" lurkers there are on the forum lately? I wonder if it's the DT. Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  111. I'm always hidden... not on the dt.

    ReplyDelete
  112. So, I noticed that it's Cknutti's bday today. 9 kids, its your bday, and all you have to do is lurk on a stamp forum and pray for the bad people.

    Sad.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Why should anyone believe that Jenn is going to get those sets mailed out now? It is over a year later and how many promises have been made? How many people have guaranteed they will be mailed by certain dates (which keep changing)? Why would Jenn even waste her breath? Oh, yes, it must be so people will sing the praises of PTI finally addressing and fixing things. Right on schedule--a few days before release it "appears" that progress is being made. Once the orders are placed everything will go dead and silent again.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I hate all of this scrolling...

    ReplyDelete
  115. Has anyone bought from Lilly Belle Paperie yet? I placed an order for cardstock but it won't be here until next week. Wondering if there are any reviews yet.

  116. Cloizeau doesn't realize that there are those of us who have walked on eggshells to politely post about the elephant in the room ... and that has resulted in being banned from the forum. We can't even publicly post WTH when that happens. Thats exactly why the forum is such a skewed perspective that it's "not all that bad". Yes it is all that bad. Naysayers just silently disappear and thats a fact.

Lurker on the smack blog, but now checking in. I have $250.00 (not a typo) in gift certificates that can't be used that need to be converted over and I'm supposed to send an email that will take weeks to get a meaningful response to? Such BS but business as usual for PTI. I sent an email and the auto reply email that comes back is a joke! It specifically states, "If your email concerns one of the following issues, this will be the only reply you receive." Now that *is* customer service!

    ReplyDelete
  122. ^^ Sorry about your GC's. If it's any consolation, the issue of questionable avatars is being addressed. HTH! (sarcasm font)

  125. Would it be rude of me to comment on Betsy's blog, "Could this tea party idea be applied to Kool-aid? That seems to be what most PTI fans are drinking these days."
Lol - I am not that bold. Funny in my head though!

Seriously someone explain to me how an innocent who is missing anniv sets, can't use reward points, has 2012 expiration cc, has gift certificate problems, etc etc... and doesn't know about the FORUM, would know what to do?? (How many times have these people had to email their addresses and names regarding the anniv sets?)

Perhaps they are inundated with these questions and if only Nichole would post on her blog or on FB, that would cut most of their CS emails?

@ 7:59 totally agree. I have several unused gift certs out there and I haven't received an email about it (neither has my husband who purchased the certs) so I don't understand how they are getting this information out to those who aren't on the forum.

  136. God, I love Ami. That was the most awesome post ever. Here it is if you missed it:

I'm sorry but I'm not the one who needs to re-read.

I NEVER said or implied you were part of any group. I NEVER said or implied how you think. I NEVER assumed or implied you had never had any customer service issues. You came to those false conclusion all on your own.

    Just to recap:

You stated there are three groups of people on this forum. All I said is you missed one. I also gave my opinon that your rainbow shooting, unicorn jumping, handslappy posts are no different than the "truly destructive" ones you mentioned.

Just wanted to clairfy so we are on the same page. No need to reply.

  140. Ted's Wallet - confused about who to talk to9 March 2012 at 08:33

I've been reading this for about a week now and thought I would jump in now. It is great entertainment. I agree/have similar views to what most of you are saying.

From the beginning, I've always thought that the answers that the PTI post on their forum were snarky and bordering on bitchy.

I've only had one customer service issue and it took four emails to get it resolved. And by emails, it was me reminding them that my issue wasn't resolved. The final email (when it was finally resolved) from Julie stated that this was the first email she had received on the matter (snarky again). And why would you state this to a customer.

Anyway, I too am on a hiatus from PTI too. I'm in the camp that would like to see them resolve there issues, but I don't see it happening soon without owner/personnel changes.

    Just my 2 cents!

    ReplyDelete
  141. So did Ted take his oversized scissors and go home? I haven't seen any more posts from him.

When is Barbara (I think that's who it was) going to share her PM's from Ted?

    ReplyDelete
  142. This blog is my new happy place. No Kool-Aid allowed.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Ted will be back. He gets his feelings hurt and acts like the victim for a while and then returns, possibly when he notices that nobody misses him.

    ReplyDelete
  144. That 'speaks for PTI' reminds me of The Lorax who 'speaks for the trees'. Perhaps we need a cute cartoon character for a forum avatar and we can name in SeauxNutti (play on Cloiseaux and CKNutti)... only we know he will 'speaks for PTI'. ha ha

    ReplyDelete
  147. May last comment (speaks for PTI) was in reference to 8:16. I copied their post, but it didn't show up in my reply.

another thought just popped into my mind.. maybe Ted isn't missing, maybe the 'defenders' have their own secret anti-smack blog. they come up with ways to bump positive posts and we do the opposite here

    ReplyDelete

"You are doing business with some of the most geniune, scrupulous people that I have ever worked with in this business. As you mentioned in an earlier post, I've been in this industry for quite a while now, and I can tell you that I have been burned by some companies that some of you really love. I know scrupulous and I know unscrupulous. I would not be sitting here, working this hard, to do so for unscrupulous people. Each and every person in this company is working their tails off right now to make sure every issue is corrected as quickly and as efficiently as possible. I guarantee it."

Somebody sprinkled rainbow dust in her cereal this morning. Really, how would she know? She's not even on site. I kind of feel sorry for her because when everyone is packing and getting ready to abandon ship, she will be the last to know. HTH

  174. Since this post by criminalgrace was directly quoting Cloiseaux's drivel-

"I don't think I can express how sad I am to see such blatantly divisive language used in our community. I feel that this does more damage to our bonds than threads filled with angry complaints and hot tempers. Insults are hurtful, even when cloaked in civility and rational language. That kind of disrespect also detracts from what might have been very valid points in the discussion. Now, instead of talking about reasonable expectations and how to encourage positive discourse, we're talking about how to use one of the most depressing features of this forum software.

I would guess that she WAS calling Cloiseaux a bully. It also sounded like the poster after her was agreeing.

    Maybe criminalgrace can clarify?

I'll be perfectly honest, I have not experienced bad customer service from PTI. But, I have promoted them and encouraged my crafty friends to purchase from them and they are stuck in this massive web of poo and for that I'm angry! My protest of PTI is to honor those who need a voice.

PTI is slowly circling the drain, the end is near. (Just can't look away.)

I can't even imagine what they are thinking??? I am not sure about free Nichole though-she also gave very snarky and passive aggressive replies!

What was the offensive avatar??? I don't have one ,maybe I'll use that one...he he he

    ReplyDelete
  187. I was forever soured on Nichole after reading her answer to Karen on the "Attention Nichole" thread. Karen rightfully thought that if she brought the horrible customer service to Nichole's attention that Nichole would be horrified and do anything that she could to remedy the situation. Instead, Nichole wrote something completely passive aggressive and as bad as the email from Julie. Nichole is not a victim.

I wish that somebody had copied the thread before the Ask the Papertrey Team forum was closed. It was on the old PTI smack blog but that is gone now too.

cloiseux, because I know you read here:

You're not as smart as you think you are. You're one of those people who peppers her sentences with strings of big words in an effort to pad the appearance of intelligence; your many grammatical errors and misuse of many of words (a lot of the words she uses are right technically, but not in context) give English majors like me palpitations.

You're not as smart or clever as you think you are, bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  189. @9:52 - hilarious. But Giant Scissors have to figure in, no?

Regarding Clossieux or whatever her name is. I wonder what she is like in real life. She looks like a nice person in her photo with a beautiful happy family. Perhaps she doesn't realize how she's sounding or coming off. Sometimes you need to step back and view yourself from another perspective. She might then realize she comes off much worse than the people she is attacking. I am not going to judge her, but she needs to recognize that she is teetering on crazy.

So, I go to the gym and come back to find that the boards have been busy... seriously entertaining stuff!

For those who are interested, yes, I did receive a board warning for my avatar. Also, for my comments about scissors and paper piecing.

I was also told that my actions and those of my "comrades on the smack board" are counterproductive. Interesting, since I have mostly been a lurker here. I guess anyone who posts anything that could be perceived as non supportive of PTI is assumed to be a smacker.

I have asked/reported that off topic posts should be moved. No reply yet.

  195. Not So Perfect Match9 March 2012 at 11:56

10:40 - I'm a supporter of Clear & Simple Stamps because they have well thought-out stamp sets and great customer service. But I want to point out a few things:

    - The stamps are clear polymer, but they aren't quite the same quality as PTI, Hero Arts, and some of the other big names out there.
    - The paper is only 80lb, although the heavy white is even better than PTI's.
    - The inks are the same Palette variety that PTI gave up on a few years ago. CSS has very fine lines in their images and setiments, which just don't work well with those inks. They do well with Memento and
    - The ribbon is fab though: double-sided satin and real cotton twill in luscious colors.
    - The dies are great and coordinate with multiple stamp sets.
