PS - I'd love it if PTI Smacker could get rid of the ton of space at the end of the comments section. Pretty please?

I don't think I can, sorry :(

  3. Some people on the last thread mentioned liking GinaK and everything she stands for, but not liking the art...

    THANK YOU!

I've been trying to like her stamps for years and I just can't. She's such a nice lady and really supportive of me and my blog, but her art is so dated and CLIP-ARTish.. I wish she'd get some new artists... There are a lot of great digi stamps artists out there that need a good rubber/clear stamp home!!

  4. So Glad I am not the only one who thought Gina K's stamps are outdated Sigh!

    ReplyDelete
  5. I think people truly love Gina K for her cardstock and CS and learn to accept her stamps. I'm another person who never saw their appeal. Although, I do like a lot of the sentiments.

  6. I just read all of what's been posted about Gina K's stamps, and I could've written any one of those posts. I've placed a few orders for her white and ivory cardstock. Every time I've done that, I've figured I might as well try something else on offer. No matter how hard I look, I can never come up with any stamp set that I know I wouldn't regret buying as soon as I hit the Send button. I want to like them, because I'd like to support her business more, but I don't see it happening with the types of sets she sells now.

  7. Oops, just posted on the old thread... guess I should check for a new thread first. :)

Faster (accurate) shipping. No more emails when a label is printed.
    ----------------------------

I actually don't think that the generation of the email when the label is printed is a problem - I believe that's probably fairly standard. The problem is the ridiculously long delays between printing of label and actual handing off of package to USPS. I wouldn't have a problem with getting a shipping notice, say, at noon on a Tuesday, if my package went through the sorting facility in Cinci Tuesday night. But if it isn't going to actually leave PTI until Friday, then don't print my damn label on Tuesday!!

And the stock PTI answer of "USPS often doesn't scan at every step" has always made me mad. It's true that they SOMETIMES don't scan at every step - it seems to depend on certain hubs or something - but my packages have ALMOST ALWAYS been scanned every step along the way.

    ReplyDelete
  8. PTI is the only company that I have ordered from (in the past now too) that seem to have problems with USPS. Blame it on the carrier.

They are also the only company that I have ordered from that take so long to get the package out of the door.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I agree 06:37 - and the prior one about printing those labels in advance.

Rick gave us the :face: the flat smiley, and maybe he'll give us a "hover" preview of the threads. At least he's shown his face here and has been understanding of the complaints. Gave us a heads up on the "zendesk" thing which still is up in the air as far as we know with implementation but still...

I think it's cool that he's come here and been respectful of this place.

  10. Gina K stamps.

I think most of the designs are boring although I've liked some of Nina Brackett's and a few others. The rest look either like clip art or amateurish. Especially the animals. I don't know why but all of the animals look "off."

I don't think her cling stamps are indexed on the back so I'd rather they were clear but there are only a half dozen or so sets that I care for anyway.

  11. you buying this month?

    ReplyDelete
  12. General question re: PTI?!

Absolutely NOT!! If I loved every single thing - absolutely NOT!

    ReplyDelete
  13. There is nothing that could happen that would make me buy this month. If the ptb pulled a Rick and started having open and honest conversations without playing the victim and blaming customers, I would feel better, but I still wouldn't buy this month.

Don't confuse that with I will never buy again though. If the ptb started posting things like Gina K and change started really happening, I might consider after 6 months or so.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I placed an order to use my gift certificate. I was looking for an older stamp set and it was nearly impossible to find. I couldn't remember the name of it or when it was released.

If they're counting on new customers to drive sales they better fix that website pronto. It's worthless for browsing. What a shame as the old one was wonderful.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Shoot, I just got my order confirmation email and I was going to share it here but I can't ... for the very reason I wanted to share it. It's filled with HTML code, LOL!!!

    Jeesh.... that's really professional PTI.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I feel the same about Gina K. The stamps are kind of "old ladyish". I love her white cardstock and order enough at one time to get free shipping. I have one set of her stamps and they are OK, but I don't use them much.

    ReplyDelete
  17. No, I will not buy from PTI this month or in the future. The company's claim that they mailed out some anniversary sets twice and that the post office lost them twice tells me that they are dishonest.

Just can't spend my $$ with these folks and hope the DT runs like hell before their reputations go down with the company.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I agree with 8:11. It is the lying that bothers me the most.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I actually believe that the anniversary stamps were mailed but that is neither here nor there. What really makes me shake my head is that they would send them out so many times without a tracking number. I realize that postage to Canada and abroad is expensive but it would have saved so many headaches.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I know international customers won't like me saying this but until PTI figures out how to handle international orders properly (which apparently other companies have no trouble with), they should just stop selling international. They should have done that before they became mired in all of these public relations issues.

And I agree about the lying. I won't order from them again.

    ReplyDelete
  21. As an international customer, I'm not offended by 08:58's suggestion. The charges for international customers are often prohibitive of ordering anyways. If they can't offer a variety of shipping methods, don't opt for the most expensive method.

The lying is also tiresome. Do I think they intentionally set out to lie to customers? No. Do they make promises they can't keep? All. The. Time. Do I think they lie and use half truths to cover their behinds? Hell yes.

If nothing else, PTI needs a sound business mind running the show who makes PTI their #1 priority. They need an IT TEAM to fix this web store pronto. They also need to focus on rebuilding customer trust and winning back those who've walked. Yes, new customers will find them. But bad customers share negative experiences which perpetuates a company's lousy reputation.

    ReplyDelete
  22. One of the things about the lying that bothers me is that NH and others have professed Christianity and then the company misrepresents Christian values with greed and dishonesty.

    ReplyDelete
  23. In my opinion Julie and Nichole are total liars. They tell lies when the truth is better. Water seeks its own level so I'm over all the lovey dove crap for Rick.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I don't they're lying. I think the fact that a few of you seem so quick to accuse them of lying tells us more about you than about them.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Or it tells us something about you.

I don't think a history of PTI changing the story when caught out in a lie makes us "quick" to accuse of anything.

Do I believe that they set out to lie? Not really. But like others, when mistakes are made, PTI's first reaction is an ass-covering fabrication. And usually bad ones at that...

Really people, if you're gonna lie to us, at least show some creativity!

    ReplyDelete
  26. yes I'll buy. i like the products and don't care about anything else.

    ReplyDelete
  27. @11:05 When have they been "caught out in a lie"?

    ReplyDelete
  28. They have been CAUGHT in lies and then changed their stories. How can you defend that, much less trust them in the future?

    ReplyDelete
  29. When the pallet of orders was lost in the warehouse Jenn posted that the effected customers that were NOT on the forum were notified via email as to the status of their orders.

The very next poster said that when she had emailed , she was told that the package was mailed out according to shipping policies.

So possibly Jenn was given misinformation which she then passed along?

Somewhere along the line the information was not accurate.

You're right, Barbara, not everyone is on the forum, but the others have been following up through Customer Service and receiving the same explanation. To be honest, when this pallet was found, the first and foremost thought was to just get these to everyone as quickly as possible. We didn't want to delay it further by trying to determine whose packages were there, we just wanted to get it out the door right then and there. Please have no doubt that we feel horrible about this, and that as Nichole mentioned, there have been checks put in place to make sure this doesn't happen in the future.

I just discovered this thread. I apparently was one of the 60 and waited well over 2 weeks for my package to arrive. When I contacted CS I was told that my package was shipped within the guidelines in the shipping policy...but I beg to differ..

    ReplyDelete
  30. I believe that they just don't always know what the other person is saying or doing (Nichole/Julie/Jenn) but I don't think that they intentionally lie.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think that I need a few more examples of them being caught in lies before I can come to that conclusion.

I do remember Nichole promoting items that never came to fruition but that isn't lying to me.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Water seeks its own level so I'm over all the lovey dove crap for Rick.

    What does this even mean?

    ReplyDelete
  33. The whole binder thing always felt like a big crock of bull to me
(And yes I was personally affected)

The fact that the "knew" a whole bunch of orders would not be going out but that they did not notify those people was ridiculous
And we had to do our own detective work to figure it out!

AND then to be offered nothing more than an apology from it
No free or discounted shipping, or percentage off it ANYTHING!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. When did NH ever profess Christianity? I always assumed her hesitance to produce a "real" Christmas set, or anything else Christian, was due to being atheist. Even when they have done religious sets, she's quick to turn the design responsibilities to Mormon Lisa.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Because they are CONSTANTLY so evasive and only tell the truth after the customers figure it out (and after the customers have asked week after week) it is pretty clear that they are shoving things under the rug left and right. To me that is dishonest and lying. Honest people answer questions DIRECTLY.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think the case with the missing pallet was just confusion and error, not lying. When the person e-mailed CS and was told her package was shipped on time, it was because according to PTI's records it HAD been shipped. They initially thought that pallet was gone.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I agree that the pallet incident was just a case of confusion.

I don't think that they handled it very well though. They should have told the 60 customers what happened when the pallet was found.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Merriam-Webster's definition of "lie":

    1. To make an untrue statement with intent to deceive

    2. To create a false or misleading impression

I post the above, not because I think anyone is stupid or can't look this up themselves - but to offer a standard definition for this word that we can all base our opinion on.

Based on the above, I believe PTI did lie about the missing pallet, strictly based on Jenn's response (that someone posted above). IMO there was an intent to create a false or misleading impression by not being upfront about the delayed orders.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Let's not forget abut the infamous, "the anniversary sets were all mailed out in October" line. Some people are still waiting to this day. Damn post office.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Again, I don't see lying there. I think that the anniversary sets were mailed. They were stupid to not track the twice lost sets though.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Or the "packages are mailed out in the order they are received" ?? Umm... not so much.

Or " has stepped down to pursue " Again...not so much.

  49. I do not understand how anyone can defend PTI's business operating practices. Their behavior has been inexcusable.

How can anyone reward a company like this? They have had these problems for YEARS, and still there are those who will rise to their defense in a heartbeat and I'll never understand that.

  52. I am not a Ted hater/disliker usually. I find him harmless, with just a bit more eccentricity than the usual lot. However, his Off Topic post about getting a cat through a breeder is really starting to rub me the wrong way. I know there were some postings on this blog several weeks ago regarding that thread, but little Miss T has resurrected it today.

As the owner of 2 shelter dogs, I don't understand why anyone would go through a breeder (with the exception of wanting to formally show the animal, which I'm fine with). His refusal to answer Barbara's question about why he won't consider a shelter is driving me crazy!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Probably for the same reason people have babies rather than adopt their children.

    ReplyDelete
  54. 15:37.....that's got to be the most ridiculous comparison I've ever heard
Please elaborate in how buying and animal of a different species from a breeder is the same as deciding to have a child??

  56. Ted's cat thread disturbs me as well... I hope he will end up not getting any. Otherwise, I'll feel bad for that cat!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. We chose to buy pure bred dogs from a breeder that specializes in bird hunting dogs. My husband is an avid bird hunter and needed dogs with certain traits and dispositions to assist him in the field. While I wholeheartedly agree that wonderful family pets can be found in many shelters, sometimes you just don't know what you're going to get with shelter animals. Especially when you can't afford to take the time to train an animal only to discover they won't do what you want them to because it is not in their disposition.

    ReplyDelete
  58. last time I purchased was July 2011. Have reward points that I will abandon. Not enough for free shipping so I'll pass. Haven't missed it a bit and i'm kind of surprised.

since pti is reading this, i used to spend about $300 a month or so on you guys but i doubt i'll be back. Honesty would help. Getting julie and jane to sell would help too....

admit it is odd that i still post onthe forum and on this blog. i guess i like drama............

    ReplyDelete
  59. We buy our dogs from breeders because we like a certain temperament and certain traits in a family pet. It is too hard to get that from a shelter pet with an unknown background.

  60. I don't understand why people who haven't purchased in 12 months continue to smack here? Got nothing better to do?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Why do people who have purchased smack here? That seems the bigger conundrum. Buy and then smack and then buy anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  62. My last purchase was December because I had a gift cert. Prior to that it was May. I boycotted from May to Dec due to no anniversary set. After I received it, I placed an order to use the GC. There are some things I'd like to get, but my heart isn't in it right now. And that Ann set? Still not out of the packaging. The whole mess left me with a sour taste in my mouth I don't even feel like using it.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I don't understand why people who haven't purchased in 12 months continue to smack here? Got nothing better to do?
    ============================
Because I never imagined all of this mess would still be ongoing. I kept waiting, and waiting, and hoping. Before I knew it 12 months was up. Call me a dumb optimist. I was/am really hoping it was "growing pains" or "transition period" or such.

    ReplyDelete

  66. Ted does not like Barbara at all.

    ReplyDelete
  67. @17:28 Did he ever say something explicitly?

I know that he never directly answered Barbara's question on that thread but has he said something to her on another?

    ReplyDelete
  68. No but she called him out for being a hypocrite and he said something about wishing that she had contacted him privately instead of posting on the board. I think I've seen him ignore her before.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I don't have a problem with breeders but Ted should at least be able to share his reasons if he is going to post about it.
Animal rescue is right up there with politics and religion as far as hot topics so he should own his decision.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Why does he have to defend it? Do I have to defend my right to have children instead of adopt when there are children needing homes? Do I have to defend my choice not to have any pets at all? Do I have to defend my choice on a chatboard to anyone just because I mention I am having a baby?

    ReplyDelete
  71. When you post about controversial topics you should have the backbone to defend your position. Period.Don't just start shit.

    ReplyDelete
  72. For those who haven't purchased in a while, what is it that keeps you watching.. Are you hoping things improve so you can shop again? Or do you have some unresolved customer service issue? Otherwise, I guess I don't get why people who don't plan to shop and haven't shopped in a while continue to hang on?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Why does he have to defend that????

Why not make people defend why they spend $200 on stamping stuff?

How about defending how you can have 4 kids and still spend 3 hours a day crafting?

How come you cannot pay off your Visa but you can mail 200 Christmas cards to people each year?

Why does anyone have to defend anything on a stupid chatboard? Because you say so???

    ReplyDelete
  74. I think he should have to defend why he wants a cat instead of a dog. Everyone knows that is just wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Here is Ted's initial post, word for word.

    Hello all,

So I'm considering purchasing a Bengal cat, as I've read many good things about them. I'd basically put a deposit down once I saw pictures of the litter and go from there.

I'm just wondering... does anybody have experience purchasing a pet (dog, cat, bird, etc.) from a professional breeder? If so, mind sharing your experience with me (pros, cons, etc.)?

It's the first time I've ever done something like this, so it's all new territory.

    Thanks!

So yeah, on the grounds that he is soliciting opinions about purchasing a pet, he is intentionally making himself open to advice from pet owners. And there were people who posted that have the experience of both buying from breeders and adopting from shelters (and preferred the latter), so their advice is valid. Why wouldn't it be?

18:19 if you're seriously going to go there, why not ask why the sky is blue? Or why there are people starving in Africa? It's asinine to compare adopting a domesticized animal that the human race has enslaved, overpopulated to the point that they are being euthanized every single day, and is accountable to take care of forever since these animals serve no other purpose than to placate human beings, to propagating the human race. Seriously, people!

    Rant over.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Ted just likes to start shit.

    ReplyDelete
  77. @18:30 - I keep watching because I believe in the product. I don't agree with some of the business decisions the owners have made, but I keep holding out hope that they will get on the right path...so I can start buying again. I am not one of those that will hold a grudge against them forever - I believe they have to learn from their mistakes and I will be happy to be a customer of theirs once they do.

Re: Ted - I feel that since he put it out there, he should at least answer the question. Otherwise, he could have just asked his non-online friends, right? That's like asking why we smack scrapcelebs - they put themselves out there. We are entitled to our opinions about what decide to show us. BTW, I think Ted has Barbara on ignore. Otherwise, I think he would have answered her question.

    ReplyDelete
  80. It is not my business nor yours why Ted prefers not to go the shelter route. Honestly, you truly have no idea if you are getting an animal that has been abused or has issues. Why should he have to take that chance to satisfy you? It is like railing on people who eat meat when you don't believe in it. They don't have to justify it to you.

If you decide to post to a forum some personal decision that you made; well, I have to go with the others on this one. It's a place for discussion. He made the choice to put it out there - he could have kept silent.

  84. My last purchase was today to use my G.C. I'm pretty sure I won't ever purchase again. So why follow it? Why come here?

Well first, coming here is easy: 18:34 :) . As a dog and multiple cat, and multiple other kinds of pets owner, I still thought that was funny. I like the straightforwardness and the humor expressed here.

And I recommended PTI to people for years - people who had never heard of them. Now I've taken a stand about how I feel about what they do and I thought it would be interesting to see where things end up, and I'd like to know if anyone asks me about it. I don't have to. I'm not responsible for them.

Gosh.. I feel like someone wants us to defend our reason for being here. Weird.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I agree about Ted. Put a hot topic out there in public and you are inviting whatever you get.

    ReplyDelete
  86. What is it with the picking on Ted about his pet preferences, his living arrangements, his eyes, his job and why he has time to stamp? Why do we care that he likes to organize his stamp room and that he stamps with his mom? He has become THE person to pick at. He is not the problem.

    ReplyDelete
  87. ^^^ as others have pointed out, he puts himself out there all the time. therefore, he gets smacked the most.

  89. It's just sad that people have to find something to criticize - the store, the products, the PTB, the people on the forum ... negativity is not good for anyone. I'm not saying it has to be all sunshine and unicorns, but come on. Everyone has a right to post what they like on the forum without being attacked ... no need to pick on people. It does not solve anything.

    ReplyDelete
  92. @20:17 - Are you referring to Ted? If so, I don't understand how opinions are construed to be "attacks". If we were attacking him, we'd address him directly on the forum and probably call him names. Instead, we are discussing our thoughts and views about his choices here. I personally don't see the harm in this.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I am not thrilled with PTI but I still buy. I have cut way back but honestly I have not found another company whose designs and paper I like as much. Yes I buy WMS- I love WMS but I still find myself more drawn to PTI. I have looked at all the places mentioned here and bought from several but still its not exactly what I want. And as for paper I have tried so many and I still can not find one I like as much or better. I think I have posted here twice but I do read here a few times a week. Anyway my last purchase was last month and before that I hadnt purchased since November.

    ReplyDelete
  94. From what I read, Ted asked for opinions about buying from breeders, so IMO that's what the topic of discussion should've been kept to. Sometimes forum members make the mistake of thinking people actually care about your opinion even when it's not been asked for. Just bc Ted brought up buying from a breeder does not mean he owes you an explanation of why he decided not to buy from a shelter. Sick of the ugly sense of entitlement some of you have. Grow up.

And for the record, Ted annoys the piss out of me, but this time I don't blame him for ignoring a question he doesn't feel like answering. Especially when the question ignores his specific topic of discussion.

So I bought a top, turns out they were just the things to put around the jar, and not the TOP! So last month I bought the actual longer die with top attached to cut in one swoop, and I bought the Spring fillers too. They sure had me running to finish this set up... I was mad at them for making it so hard to spot on the new website. New and unimproved if you ask me.
I won't order this month, I find the new release blah.

  99. I still don't have my anniversary set, while its been brought up again. If I ever do receive it I don't know what I'll do, but the lack of talking to me and even a real apology has meant that I'm still mighty pissed off about all this.

If any other company had taken more than a year to get something to me, I'd have been given a real apology, and something to show how actually sorry they were (like a voucher or free shipping or something!) Instead all we get is passive aggressive posts from Nichole on the forum and constant answers of 'we sent them, get over it, just wait a while longer'.

  100. Too many peeps and jelly beans yesterday??????

    My report on WPlus9 cardstock: white - same color and look as PTI;
    kraft - same color and look as PTI (including the little fibers that run through the cardstock);
oatmeal - contains flecks just like the PTI rustic cream and rustic white: color is some where between the two, not as white as rustic white and not as yellow as rustic cream. All in all, a great alternative to PTI.

  101. Who's release stamps next? Can we have a list somewhere of when each company release their stamps so i can keep up?

    ReplyDelete
  102. @3:38 - thanks for the comparison. How does WP9 cardstock compare in weight and for Copics with the PTI stuff?

Have they run out of ideas? The peels are practically awful! And where did Lexy Daly come from? I checked out her blog and had to leave. The tears were blurring my vision. LOL

  103. I'd like to try Wplus9 for the white but hope the price comes down or a bigger pack at greater value.

Ted is annoying. He's on the forum constantly, says talk with your wallet and then gushes all over the place, has a boy-crush on NH which is disgusting, and is just plain asking for it.

Someone said, why do you have to go looking for the negatives?? Get a clue -- the reason this blog exists is because PTI has been throwing negatives at us for years. No one had to go looking for them.

If you want twirly smileys all day long stay on their forum. Ted will give you plenty. *gag*

  104. I was tempted by the Garden Variety stuff so maybe they actually will lose money on me this month if that new related set is nice.

But WTF is that vintage text/postmark mashup??? Heather Nichols is no Tim Holtz. That just looks like one hot mess - blech!! (and this is from a fan of vintage)

  105. Add That 2 The List9 April 2012 at 05:42

It would be nice if the stamp designers also tried to create outside their style once in awhile. Same for the DT. I'm gearing up for a week of Dawn's garishly bright cards and Heather's dishwater dull shabby shit, I mean chic, cards.

  106. 5:19, you made me go and look at the Heather peek, and I'd say you nailed that one. If it looks like that in miniature, I think I'll have to turn my head when the whole thing is revealed. Not sure what anyone was thinking with that one.

I'm supposed to receive my order today, in which I used a bunch of GCs and cashed in the reward points. I hadn't ordered since November. It's going to take some serious change to get me back on board.

    I miss Rick.

  107. I don't like anything in the peeks so far. I will say though, the Robert Louis Stevenson quote sure did make me stop in my tracks and breathe an "AMEN. Hope you read that one, NH." Here is the quote:

"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant."

    ReplyDelete
  108. @6:07...

But Nichole would say, "I shipped the anniv sets (planting seeds) not my fault if they never show up (crop being harvested)".... in her world it is always about the seeds they are planting being good enough, guess they don't realize you have to water and care for that shit as well...

    ReplyDelete
  109. I miss Rick also. Whether you like him or not, agree with him or not, question his motives or not ... he was respectful and helpful here. Above all, he was *listening*.

    ReplyDelete
  110. So true, 6:24. I can almost hear her saying, "I'm sorry, Mr Stevenson, that you are disappointed with your crop and mistakenly planted the wrong seeds. The fields are going through a transitional period. If you don't like that perhaps you should farm elsewhere."

    LMAO

From what I read, Ted asked for opinions about buying from breeders, so IMO that's what the topic of discussion should've been kept to........... I don't blame him for ignoring a question he doesn't feel like answering. Especially when the question ignores his specific topic of discussion.

    ****************
I agree with the statements above to a point. To go a bit further, though, Ted actually asked for people to share their experiences of buying from a breeder - not just their opinions. So to me, and take this from a person who cannot stand Ted with every fiber of my being, this means if you have no experience buying from a breeder than anything you post does not contribute to the original question.

If I posted a question asking which restaurant serves the best filet, I don't give a shit about the PITA people or the vegans preaching to me about how meat is bad for me and I'm cruel to animals.

As for those who are smacking the Ted smackers, Ted posts a ton because he craves attention. And when you crave attention as much as he does, he's going to get both good and bad. THAT is what us smackers mean by putting yourself out there.

No one smacks me because I don't post on the forums much and don't put myself out there in blog land (no judgement against those who do). Partly because I only create for myself and my family and secondly because I know I wouldn't handle the inevitable criticism well. I give props to those who are brave enough to put themselves out there though. To the victor go the spoils. And sometimes to the victor goes a nasty side dish of criticism.

I couldn't agree more. I thought that little sneak was rather hideous. Although I do like the tag-its sneak from the other day. I doubt I'll buy anything though. Actually, I know I won't buy anything. The last time I purchased anything was mid 2011. And it was cardstock only.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Nothing in the sneaks even vaguely attractive to me and that postmark thing is hideous. 2 months in a row where nothing looks decent or attractive. They have lost the creative edge.

    ReplyDelete
  115. About that awful peek from Heather:
In the past we've seen NH show sketches that different 'stamp designers' have done before developing a stamp set. So, do they just give her sketches and she finishes it off, or do they finish them themselves? I think it's a mix and either way I'm pretty sure the final product approval is Nichole's.

I love KSS and Maria is fabulous. Another one to add to the sidebar!

  118. Oops.. sorry I don't know how often the releases are, but I see they now have a forum and of course a FB page so it shouldn't be too hard to find out!

    ReplyDelete
  119. I was the one that posted about Ted owning his reasoning for buying from a breeder. I now understand what a few people have said about it being none of my business. You are correct in saying that he was asking about breeders, not shelter cats.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Hey Rick - did you go somewhere or do you just feel that you don't have anything to add to the current discussion?

    ReplyDelete
  121. I miss Rick - I think he got tired of defending himself for being here.

Didn't realize this was an "invitation only" blog. I think people should stop asking for defense arguments. It's getting childish.

  122. The haters be hatin'.

    ReplyDelete
  123. I am guessing that Rick bowed out politely after one too many people implied that he should. Personally, I think that was a mistake and we should not have run him off. He added something here, IMO. At least he was funny ... more than some of you b*tches. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Maybe he's just busy? I don't remember Rick saying that he was leaving.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Oh for God's Sake people. You miss Rick? He posted on Saturday. It's only Monday morning. Let the poor guy not post on Easter Sunday without you all panicking he won't be back to stroke your egos.

  126. I'm curious what Jenn's big opportunity was. Surely some of you smackers know someone who knows someone who knows Jenn? Did she just want the hell out of PTI? (Can't blame her) Or was there really some fabby opportunity that took her away?

    ReplyDelete
  127. @7:48 I don't need my ego stroked and if I did I doubt Rick would satisfy that. I think the ones who miss him are the ones who realize he was the only crumb of insight we have into PTI.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Calgon took her away.

  129. can somebody start a friends of rick blog? I liked having him around.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Rick was friendly, helpful, funny, and informative. Who can argue with that?

    ReplyDelete
  131. Mind boggling that some still do not have their Anniversary sets - barely any apologies from PTI - only their defensive 'we have sent them out twice'.
How come they are the only company that manages to misplace their packages. I have never had this from other companies I order from.
Becoming more apparent that 'we have sent them out twice, and now we are being nice and sending them again' just shows that they couldn't care less.
Why would anyone believe that they could send them out without tracking numbers - once maybe, but three times???
