I also like MFT, but I have also had slow shipping and I agree that Simon Says is the way to go because you can buy almost all your supplies in one shot with free shipping, while a $60 order of MFT alone is over the top for me.
MFT's dies tend to be too pricey, imo and sometimes you HAVE to buy the die and the stamp set together, which is not a good thing for me.
So Beth and Michelle have walked away? The person replacing them has nice cards, but nothing like the dt team has put out in the past.
How long can a company keep coming up with a new customer base every few months before they have treated thousands terribly and no one will go near them anymore?
Nichole's attitudes toward the customers and the way she speaks to them and bans them for telling the truth is really horrific.
I've ordered from MFT before and the shipping was OK. It wasn't fast, it wasn't slow. I didn't get any sort of tracking for the shipment.
I just placed another order with MFT with the 20% off sale recently. The web store was easy to use. When you add to the cart, it pops up a note that the item is in the cart. You can easily move to the next item you want to order. If you reach $60, there is a pop up with a link to add the free bonus item to your cart.
Looks like they're not actually deleting the cart-dumping threads. They've merged at least one of them into the release night tech support thread. You can tell because the release night tech support thread grew by two pages all of a sudden, and the titles at the top of some individual replies still say "cart dumping".
FYI on the MFT stamps & dies. A while ago they switched to either buying them together (as it had been) OR buying the die only. So you can now just buy the die if you want.

Even with Nichole's shitty attitude last night, the truth is nobody is going to stop buying from PTI. This includes me. I haven't purchased since November 2011 and before that it was SAF 2011. I do have an order planned for SAF 2012.
The only thing we can do is STOP advertising for PTI. When you post on your blog, do not credit PTI.
When friends ask what kind of stamps you have, give them all the gory details.
I've never submitted for publishing but can you omit PTI from that as well?
Our only hope is that GinaK picks up some new designers and kicks PTI's ass with better clear stamps and silhouette cut files instead of dies.

In my opinion, one of the things that makes it such a big deal when someone leaves the PTI design team is that they don't have "terms" like most companies' teams. Everyone on the team is there indefinitely, so it makes it very tempting to speculate about why someone leaves when they do.
Regarding MFT and Gina K - even if the customer service is good, the stamps don't appeal to me at all. Very outdated look, down to the fonts. I'd rather take my chances with PTI.
I was on SCS the other day and saw their store locator. There was a store listed at the top, that had all my favorite brands of stamps and dies including WPlus9, Memory Box, and My Favorite Things.
I placed an order that qualified for free shipping, and got it within 5 days! I don't have to order direct from companies and try to qualify for free shipping...I can order from all my favorites from ONE place!
Love Christina's cards and looking forward to her work on the DT. I will miss Michelle's cards and stamps, although her last PTI post was a bit lackluster. I wonder if she continues to get $$$ from the stamps she designed.
I had to giggle over this in Lisa's post: I'm LOVING, truly LOVING my VersaMagic inks! The vibrancy of the colors is so great... so is the coverage. I need to get some more colors though. Let's face it... we stampers can never have enough colors!

Some other things were deleted from the thread as well - I only know this because I know that Donna C had the last reply in the thread earlier today, and hers is gone now, too.

People leave companies all the time - I think I would like to put a safe distance between myself and PTI too if I was a stamp designer/DT/etc.
Girls have always left PTI but one at a time and staggered. Recently, not so much.

I have defended PTI and I have given them credit when credit is due. But it is unacceptable to talk to people disrespectfully the way Nichole does.
